[AI] nothing impossible, law of nature
Halo friends.i am vatsal shah from baroda.this is just a small reminder for my fellow friends who might not be aware about law of contribution.there are many such laws like law of increasing returns, law of karma, etc.the secret lies in nature that practice leads to perfection and self confidence.here I would like to give my own example. I did not use internet, skype, e mail, Wikipedia, youtube and other things or topics in computer.i was raw with no knowledge and confidence.as advised by my brother, I started taking online tution classes.three days in week after returning from my work.timings 7 pm to 8 pm.i use to make skype call and my senior use to teach me one topic in every online class.he would teach me and I would also note it down.i use to practice five to ten times each topic or even 20 times.this way, I learned various steps of every topic. Today, I can read online newspaper, make skype call, send e mail, watch any video, listen songs, brouse internet, read various topics on internet. I am very happy and confident.my brother and parents are very happy.my efficiency has also increased.all thios would have been impossible without my passion or desire or willingness to learn.as everyone knows that practice makes man perfect.i have practiced every topic taught to me for many many times.my brother is not able to believe that I have performed so well within a year. Similarly, two years back, I never use to go alone anywhere as I had not learned mobility.i have undergone training at blind school at amdavad but that was not sufficient.so as advised by my friends, I alone went to places like anand, amdavad, surat, gandhinagar, Mumbai.i returned safely.i had couple of bad experiences also.once my wallet which contained debit card was lost.my money also gone along with wallet.somehow I managed to return to baroda from amdavad.i have learned to use money also.as I am not blind from birth, I could not identify currency notes properly. But, after visiting some places and returning home safely, my family is damn happy.they can see confidence on my face.i am also happy and satisfied. I tried to learn Braille.learned how to write but could not master reading.now after mastering computer, I don't flament that I don't know Braille.at work place, I do my work independently.my colleagues are very happy.i also check mails and even send reply.i also remind people of specific task they have to complain.i remain in touch with marketing and sales staff also.take part in all meetings and discussions.also look after conservation of resources and motivating workers. Today my grandparents and other family members are extremely pleased seeing my progress.all this would have been impossible without will power and self confidence.plus point is that I am always eager to learn new things.whatever I decide once, I accomplish that milestone.never rest in peace without achieving it or learning it. I have even started using credit/debit card.i am invited by people to give motivational lectures.my favourite topic is: tough times don't last but tough guys do.no gain, no pain. I have listened audio cd of topic: The Secret.in it is mentioned that nothing is impossible in world.practice leads to perfection.it is secret of nature that we human beings can achieve anything and everything.what is required is will power, patience, practice.i become national champion in seventh standard at Calcutta in roller speed skating with all three gold medals.no doubt, I was very small at that time. To master anything, we need to give our 100 percent.in short, be engrossed or occupied after anything we want to learn or achieve.practice, practice and practice.no one can acquire mastery in anything just in first attempt.what is done repeatedly, becomes our skill. To gain more knowledge, I suggest my fellow friends to listen or watch dvd or the secret.even I can help specific person.my contact number or cell number is 09638059449.my name is vatsal shah and I stay in vadodara.just by closing our fist tightly and saying yes, we will be able to generate will power and energy within ourself. A braille display can also read the txt file, that is if all you'd like to do is take a epub and read it with your braille display or on it, just convert it to text, load it on to your device of choice and you are good to go. Hello listers, The other day someone posted about the inaccessibility of the NPS website. Not just NPS, many important government websites are creating similar issues for us not just on the web interface, but even on apps as well like LIC or NPS again. As Web Visum is long dead, what technical workarounds do we have? Of course we need to pursue things at government level to deal with the erring government related sites, but in any case we need a technical solution. On a google search I came across a few paid services that claims to solve captcha for the blind user. Have anyone here used any of those? If so what is the feedback? Are they worth it? And to make the payment, what would be the options? Since they ask for payment in dollar, is it that only creditcards would work? Thanks in advance and best regards, -- Dr. Mahesh S. [AI] query regarding EPUB to BRF conversion
Hi friends! As I mentioned on the subject my query is regarding conversion from EPUB to brf. Suppose I have a braille display and you know carefully that any Braille display does not support EPUB format it supports only brf or TXT files. if I would like to read that file in Braille then I need to convert it in BRF format. Is it possible to convert EPUB to BRF? If it is possible please tell me its procedure step by step. With the kind regards Aman mobile number 9464016949. Thanks in advance! Re: [AI] to get membership of Delhi Public Library
Braille section of Delhi Public Library is located in Blind Relief association. In addition you also could become member of braille library of NIEPVD (earlier NIVH) Dehradun. They are regular in sending braille books by post. If you have some funds, get hold of Refreshable Braille Display like Orbit or BrailleMe and with that the Kindle, Bookshare and Sugamya Pustakalaya would become your braille libraries and braille book shops.
