Re: [AI] hdfc net banking

2019-12-18 Thread Alok Kaushik
Hi Rahul,
Only other keystroke that I would like to mention is the f' key to move through
all the form fields.

Some of the form fields are disabled and tab navigation does not take the
control to those fields. Getting out of forms mode and then pressing f helps
me go through the other form fields. For example, if you select a third party
beneficiary, its account number and IFSC will not be read by tab navigation, or
when you select an account its balance will not be read.

There is no direct solution for CAPTCHA. Either we need to use a third party
plug-in or seek sighted help. It also depends on the complexity of the CAPTCHA.
Simple ones may be solved using JAWS OCR or using Google's automatic image
description option in Chrome.

However, I have not tried OCR or Google's option on HDFC's CAPTCHA yet.

HTH.

Dear Access Indians,

Greetings for the day!

As the subject suggests, I am looking for any accessible software which
would help me transcribe a written melody.

Generally people use Logic or Pro tools for getting their tasks done, but I
do not think that these software's are accessible for the VI.

Basically, I am looking out for something on which I can compose a music
piece on my own.

Any leads will be highly appreciated.

Hi, Rahul,

The HDFC Bank netbanking website is more accessible with Firefox as compared
to Internet Explorer. Try using the website with Firefox.

1. There is a log out link just after the last logged in details. Click on

2. Audio reading of captchas has been disabled as a security precaution.
Disabling of audio reading of captchas has been done on other websites
including the Income-tax department website for the same reasons.

3. I face no problems in transferring funds from my account to
third-parties. Are you trying to transfer funds between 2 of your own
accounts or to a third-party account? If transferring to a third-party
account, verify if third-party transfers have been enabled for your bank
account.

4. Which menus/ submenus are not working with the JAWS cursor? I just
tried

many of them & they worked properly.

Also, which browser are you using to open the HDFC Bank website?

Re: [AI] RBI CDI app for currency identification early access

2019-12-18 Thread john clayton
Reposting this as it didn't make it to the list due to it being down.
Hi,
I haven't really used any of the apps under discussion, but wonder if the
same results can not be achieved with either TapTapSee, or Seeing AI.
Whilst I find all the scanning apps to be a pain in the neck to use, they
are better than nothing at all. The RBI/ corts decision is nothing but a sop
at best, and I expected nothing else.
No tech/ app can replace the ease of use of being able to recognise the
currency being held, as aposed to fumbling with a note in one hand and the
phone/
device in another and then wait for it to shout out the results.
But then again, I suppose it would be rather naive to think that RBI would
consider changing the notes just because those blind people can not
recognise
the note they are holding, Why would they need to, after all?
Apologies about the slight rant, suppose that's the bitterness creeping
in, but honestly My question still stands, can't the existing apps be used
to
recognise the currency?
 Cheers.

Re: [AI] Request for Bhagwat Geeta in Braille

2019-12-18 Thread Binni Kumari
Hi There,

If you like I can suggest you something:

1. If you are looking for Bhagvad Gita in Hindi, you can Choose for
Hari Gita which is in poetry form - extremely beautiful by Dinesh
Bhargav. It is available with AICB.
2. If you are interested in English, you can choose to go for Bhagvad
Gita with Shivananda's commentary. It too is available with AICB.
You can get in touch with AICB on 011-27054082. For payment process
and price list you can write on aicbde...@yahoo.com
