Re: [AI] Netflix started providing Hindi audio descriptions of some of its Hindi web series in India.
Hi All, I had reached out to an Amazon Prime person who is focusing on Accessibility with this thread. He has shared the below: "Thank you for forwarding the feedback. Amazon Prime Video does have Audio Descriptions for a all English Amazon Originals. Would you be able to pass this on to the customers and see if they are able to see AD. Customers should be able to turn on Audio Descriptions by playing a title and changing the audio language to English [Audio Descriptions] and it should be available on all devices like mobile apps, or Prime Video website. If they are unable to play AD, I would be happy to take a look." Hope this helps. Re: [AI] reading EPUB books on laptop / PC
or you could just open your epub file in Kurzweil directly. Just a suggestion if you already use Kurzweil. That tends to work pretty well. You retain all your bookmarks. and Kurzweil doesn’t even run OCR on an EPUB file, so you don’t have to wait for your document to be Recognised page by page. Adobe digital editions isn't bad either, if you'd much rather forego Kurzweil for whatsoever reason. Re: [AI] Netflix started providing Hindi audio descriptions of some of its Hindi web series in India.
Hi. I did reach out to Amazon, and they told me it was because of copyright issues that the audio description feature is not available in India. They did say they’ll forward the concern. I’m not sure if it’s available in any other market outside US at the moment. It is indeed difficult to understand why its not been brought to a big market like India’s, it’ll only attract more membership. Sunil, I think all Netflix Indian originals have audio description that we can access, starting with Sacred Games.
