[AI] Problem in online IRCTC ticket booking for 3 or more than 3 members with using concession.

2020-01-27 Thread vivek doddamani
As I mentioned in the subject in recent update of IRCTC Application on
android mobile it is not possible to book 3 or more than 3 ticket by
using (Ill booking on special concession). Before using (Ill booking
with special concession) before I have booked even 5 & 6 members in
one single ticket as one member with concession & one escort. But now
I tried to book ticket from Delhi to Agra (myself ticket with
concession ID, my wife ticket as escort and my two children as general
in same ticket by using (Ill booking with special concession) but
error message is when I enter all fields of third person error comes
(invalid card number). Before I have booked many tickets of my whole
family in one single ticket but now it is not possible. So I kindly
request all members of this group to write to (c...@irctc.co.in) to
make IRCTC rail connect app fully accessable.

2020-01-27 Thread Maruti Paramwad
Hello rahul,
Greetings of the day!
Ya, Sbi’s other captcha are not accessible. Can you tell me witch jaws version
are you using? If you have jaws 2019 and higher than, try this, jaws focus
should be on the captcha image. After that, press insert +space P and C. Jaws
will do OCR for you. After completing the process, using navigation keys you
can read captcha.

Re: [AI] Laveena Francis reports from Indore in the TOI: Writers busy with own exam, blind students left in the lurch

2020-01-27 Thread nirmal verma
Dear Avichal

I stand my ground. I have seen numerous friends losing their chances in
life due to non availability of scribes. It is high time we ask the
government to provide hundred percent accessibility in exams. I don't
understand why you or any body would want to troll and abuse me for this.
Your threatening reactions doesn't help the cause which we all want.

Thanks

Nirmal

One more tip, every card has a customer care number printed on it. Do
save that number in your phones before you start using that card.

Whatever you are suggesting is considered to be nothing less than
blasphemy in the vi community.
Have you forgotten, how one lady dared to give so much as her opinion
in an interview on the matter, and the flood of vicious trolling,
countless abuses, ridiculous slandering and personal calumny that

Though whatever happened with the girl is highly unfortunate, but it
doesn't make the negligence on her part any less.
The RBI and all other banks have been saying for many years through
various modes of advertising that one should never share the card
details with anyone on phone as nobody from the bank will ever ask for
them.
Still, if people choose to live in blissful ignorance, then sorry to
say, but they themselves are giving a weak spot to the criminals to
attack.

Hi Friends, at this juncture I would also like to add over the usage
of wi fi debit cards which could be utilised to debit amount from our
account without the use of our PIN number being typed into the POS
device.

I really don't know how it 's been allowed by RBI which has a great
risk for fraudulent withdrawal if the card is misplaced or stolen.

Infact I don't know how many of us know that such cards are available
at banks and issued even the knowledge of the users as I did till the
time I used in a shop where I wondered how the transaction got
completed without my pin number being typed and when I questioned
about it when I received a promotion call from card insurance company
linked with ICICI.

When I shared about this to my colleagues about such transaction and
to beware of such cards no one was aware about such cards to date.

@Suresh, you can do it easily under the respective card application.
Else you can seek guidance from your card's phone banking team.

Hi pranayarani,
Most vpns will allow you to pay with paypal, credit card etc.
If you don't have a credit card, you could add a debit card to paypal and
pay through it.
Most Vpn's also have resellers that accept INR.
I am using surfshark's 2 years plan which comes down to roughly rs145 per
month.
There are better vpns out there, such as express vpn etc, but surfshark is
decent enough for the price. and almost all vpn companies (the good ones
anyway) will offer you a 30 days trial, that is you pay up, use it and if
you don't like the service, you can cancel the plan and ask for a refund.
as long as it falls within 30 days, some have a 7 day refund policy.

Also, at everyone else that might be considering a vpn, please remember
There's nothing such as a free vpn. If you aren't paying for a vpn, you
are

the product.
Cheers.

Very timely advise indeed.
I also wish to caution you friends, don't ever install apps namely
'quick support' and 'anydisk' we in RBI get hundreds of mails/phones
in the office informing us of frauds people encounter. Use your
debit/credit cards wisely. And don't install any app for furnishing
your KYC requirements. Please keep your city cyber cell's contact
ready in case of financial fraud.

An incident came to my notice when a blind girl was cheated bya fraudster by
which she lost close to Lakh of rupees.

She received a call on her mobile alleging that he was calling from Reserve
Bank and that her credit card got blocked. He got her to part with her CVV and
date of expiry of her card and also the OTP.
Within seconds thereafter there was a debit for that amount.

I am sharing this incident to prevent anyone else falling prey to it.
This is taken as a authorized transaction and there is no salvage except a
hope the perpetrar is caught and the money recovered.

While discussing this incident I was also told about an able bodied persons who
was well aware about online frauds and who was a faculty in a public sector
bank also got duped using social engineering tricks.
Therefore please exercise extreme caution while talking to people by phone
regarding any of your financial transaction.

Also be on a guard of the apps you installing on your mobile.

Re: [AI] Fwd: Judgment on reservation in promotion

2020-01-27 Thread bhawani shankar verma
I think that this judgment came on review petition. Still parties can not be
debarred to obtain legal remedy. In court cases, mostly review/appeals are
filed by the parties in last 2 or 3 days before expiry of limitation.

Regarding this jJudgement I had discussion in administration branch
of my Office there they said promotion cannot be given on Supreme
court judgement, department of personnal & training DOPT of
Government of India should endorsement of this judgement then only it
can be possible for implement of this judgement.

On 1/21/20, Binni Kumari wrote:

Hi,

I am trying to summarise the judgment from a lay person's
perspective for my own understanding. The experts, kindly fill the
gaps or correct me if I do goof ups. 1. The judgment dated 14th Jan
2020 is a reviewed petition on Civil appeal 1567 of 2017 which is
based on PWD Act, 1995 "section 32 and 33 -reservation in promotion".
2. This judgment is for a very old case of 2008 Ravi Kumar Gupta
versis Prasar Bharti as and he and few others were denied
reservation in promotion in group A. However, Prasar Bharti
considered them unfit due to their disability despite having
chemical engineering background.
3. The case was reviewed after 8 years on 30th June 2016 and the
judgment was given in 2017.
4. After that there were one or two more reviewed petitions in 2019
and finally, Civil Appeal No. 1567 of 2017 was reviewed dated 14th
Jan
2020 in the form of latest judgment.
5. The gist of the judgment is that the judgment passed in 2017 will
become applicable after the issueance of this reviewed petition.
6. Though, there was already reservation in promotion for groups C
and D based on SC judgment dated 8th October 2013 but the salient
feature of this particular judgment is that now there will be
reservation in promotion for groups A and B. However, there are very
few posts reserved for PWds in groups A and B thus, jobs roster
making committee really needs to be conscious of being able to do
justice with the policy of reservation in promotion.

  On 1/21/20, Marisport A wrote:

i feel this judgment (14th January, 2020) could be the proper
reference.
since, you are the first one to approach the government then, you
ask the ministry of social welfare along with Law to modify the
promotion policy in accordance with the judgment.

Re: [AI] vpn apps for iphone.

2020-01-27 Thread john clayton

If you aren't paying for a vpn, you are
the product.
Cheers.
