Hi Minar,

I personally use 1mg to order medicine.
The app is available on the Play store and I find it completely accessible.
One can even call the company directly and place an order of medicines in
Cash on Delivery.
The call us the number is available on the internet.
They provide quick doorstep delivery.

To read the name of medicines you can use the Supersense app.

accessibility issues and has great performance.
Google will be releasing pixel 6 sometime this year and supposedly might
get 5 years of security and software updates.

Re: [AI] Seeking suggestions for an accessible android phone with good speed.

2020-09-24 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hello Ajay,

I personally prefer Android One phones, as they have less
bloatware installed and are not tweaked.
Pixel is a good choice and the best part is that updates will be frequently
available to it.
I also own a Nokia phone and that too works flawlessly.

Hope this helps!

Re: [AI] Increasing the number of members on whats app group

2020-05-03 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Vamshi,

WhatsApp doesn't allow more than 256 members in a particular group.
You might have to use a different app if you need more people in a
single group.
As Avichal, correctly suggested, you can use Telegram if you want a large
number of members in a single group.

Re: [AI] Desktop slow problem.

2020-04-29 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Akash,

There are quite a number of reasons why the system fan runs so fast few of
them are:
1. Blocked air vents (Sometimes, dust, dirt, and other debris block the air
vents of your computer and it can’t create enough airflow to cool down
efficiently.)
2. Too much load on the processor (Many processes running at the same time
generates heat, and the fan and cooling system dissipate that heat.)
3. There might be a malware present so scan for the same.
4. Make sure to completely Shut Down your computer, when not in use.
5. Run a disk clean up.

Re: [AI] windows 10 laptop

2020-04-27 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Mohit,

As per your usage, the best configuration that you can get is:

1. RAM: 8 GB or above. Higher the RAM lesser will be the lag while using
multiple programs at once.
2. SSD: 500 GB or above (As much of the memory is used by the Windows also
you need more space for installing and keeping stuff on your system)
3. Processor: Core i5 is sufficient enough and the latest one is 10th
Generation.

Make sure that the computer that you'll purchase can accommodate more RAM
if required, this will keep you going for a longer time.

Hope this helps

Re: [AI] issue regarding unwanted trafic error while doing google search.

2020-04-23 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hello Dinesh,

Mentioning below few methods to rectify your problem:

Initially check for malware on your computer.
Also check if there is no VPN being used.
If you have installed any extension in the past few days remove them also.
Reset your router and reset your browser too.
Then restart your computer and check if there is any Windows update
available.

Hope this helps

Re: [AI] Job Opening for Visually Impaired

Hi Sindhu,

Thanks for your interest! My experience during the Start-Up such as this
suggests that a position like this (User Experience Executive) doesn't
require a professional degree.
Also, it doesn't require knowledge of accessibility at all.
What is however needed is creativity & a burning desire to contribute to
this cause for the general good of the VI community at large.

BTW, the location certainly needs to be Gurgaon.

Pramit

Re: [AI] ms outlook

2020-04-02 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Hitesh,

The reason this happens is because When you use 2-Step Verification, some
apps or devices may be blocked from accessing your Google Account.
App Passwords are a way to let the blocked app or device access your Google
Account. To do that follow the below steps:
1. Login to your google account
2. Under Security select App passwords
Now simply generate the password to be used with your Outlook account and
use this newly generated password to login with Outlook.

Hope this helps

Re: [AI] please guide about windows 10 upgrade

2020-03-29 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Navneet,

Sharing the answers to few of your questions below.

1. Minimum RAM should be 4 GB but if possible go for 8 GB as there'll be no
lag as in WIndows 10 several process runs in background and simultaneously
JAWS will also be working. Latest processor is 10th generation. You can go
for a 8th generation core i3 or i5.
2. On WIndows 10, JAWS latest version is 2020.
3. Firefox with latest JAWS is accessible and you can even try the chromium
based Edge browser, which too is accessible.

Hope this helps

Hi,

You can try using Envision AI or voice dream reader. There are other apps
available also.
But for me personally these two work fine. Try using Envision AI it offers
trial period and if you like it then only then purchase it.

Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Rich Text Format, HTML, PDF/A,

Re: [AI] ANDROID VOICE ASSISTANT

2020-03-02 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi,

TalkBack is the default screen reader on the Android devices except for
Samsung. Default screen reader for Samsung devices is Voice Assistant.
WIth the Samsung devices you can side load TalkBack and can use either
Voice Assistant or TalkBack.
The difference between the two is basically the Gestures.

Hope this helps

Re: [AI] Fwd: Keyboard issue in HP 3DPUPQKK laptop.

2020-02-26 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi,

If the keys on the laptop are getting messed up get it check with the HP
support because at times the keyboard connector wire gets cracked or an
this issue might occur when the under lying circuit is at fault.
So get this checked initially before getting the keyboard changed.

Re: [AI] Suggestions needed on OCR apps for Android

2020-02-26 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Anirudh,

There are quite a few applications available for OCR. You can chose any one
depending upon what suits you best.
Envision AI and Eye-D both are pretty good but are paid applications. You
can try Envision AI as it does offer initial trial period and if this
solves your purpose then you can go ahead with it.

Hope this helps!

Just make sure that you have the battery installed.

Re: [AI] Suggestions needed on OCR apps for Android

2020-02-22 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Mahesh,

Envision AI is quite a good application. Try downloading it and using it as
it offer trial period initially and if you are completely satisfied with it
then go for it.
OCR capability of Envision AI is pretty good. Check it out for yourself
before purchasing anything.
Hope this helps

Re: [AI] A silly query regarding Gmail sign in

2020-02-22 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Shadab,

Here what I would personally recommend you would be to use a different
browser and save your password and don't log out from the email once you
have done that simply close the browser.
Or you can simply use an email client like Thunderbird so that you don't
have to login to your account again and again.

Hope this helps!

Re: [AI] Is it possible to make outbound and receive incoming calls from JEO Wifi?

2020-02-18 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Binni,

The SIM has to be placed in the phone in order to use the WI-FI calling
service. So yes either the Airtel or the JIO SIM has to be in the phone to
get the WI-FI calling functionality.
I am using this on my Android phone and works pretty fine.

2020-02-17 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Binni,

In order to use Wi-Fi calling you'll need to go into setting of your mobile
device and under the Wi-Fi options look for option that says Wi-Fi Calling
or you might find it Under SIM and Network, options might vary from phone
to phone.

For now JIO and Airtel are the only service providers offering Wi-Fi
calling or VOWi-FI (Voice Over Wi-Fi).

Hope this helps

Re: [AI] IDM Query

2020-02-04 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hello,

IDM has per computer license. In order to use IDM on several computers at
the same time you'll have to obtain licenses for each one. IDM can
automatically detect if it is being used on several computers and your
serial number will be blocked. Also in case something happens or you change
your computer them IDM on the previous computer have to be uninstalled
before installing it to the new one or or else IDM serial number will be
blocked.

Hi Binni,

RBI Mani application can read the notes but it doesn't read coins. I have
tried it personally but on an Android phone but result is not that good.

At times it reads a 20 note as 100. So I don't think it up to the mark.
Mentioning below the link for iOS App Store in case you want to check it
out.

ios 9+: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1491441464

Re: [AI] Best accessible Android phone within 15000

2020-01-18 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi

My personal experience with Android One Phones has been great (Nokia 6.1 &
Nokia 8.1) as the phones are extremely stable, accessibility is good and
frequent updates are available. I am using Nokia 8.1 and my experience with
it is really nice.

Re: [AI] blackberry phones.

2020-01-16 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi,

I use blackberry Q10, based on blackberry 10 operating system. It has got a
physical keyboard. While it works pretty well for me I would not recommend
it as it is pretty old - about 6 years old.

Currently the blackberry is available running android system but for all
practical purposes, are End of Life and blackberry may not provide any
support.

The only reason one may want to consider blackberry is for its physical
QWERTY keyboard. Blackberry hub where all email messages notifications come
in is another benefit.
