Re: [AI] Enquiry about accessible smart TV Android TV

2019-09-19 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
But it is different, that's why I said I have installed jio TV Android app
on my iffalcon Android TV and I am accessing DTH content from there only
so there is no need to connect phone to my Android TV. Sometimes connecting
mobile phone to Samsung TV using wireless display did not work. It creates
disturbing sound sometimes. in other words I can sideload many apps on my
Android TV but Samsung TV does not allow to do the same.

Re: [AI] Enquiry about accessible smart TV Android TV

2019-09-18 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
At my home I am using iffalcon 40F2A. It is almost accessible and have a
good sound quality and decent picture quality also but it does not support
4K content. It has play store that means you can install TV apps from
there. Also it has Chromecast built in in that's why you can operate your
TV with Google home handsfree. its remote has Google Assistant button so
that you can operate it with your voice. But in these days many new
television models are coming from different brands those TV's have inbuilt
mic in it that means you can give voice commands to these TVS without
touching the remote. But on the other hand Samsung television that I have
at my home only has a Samsung app store and you can install very few apps
from there. These apps are are at all not accessible with Samsung voice
guide. Samsung TV remote also has a dedicated voice search button but I
found this button it is not quite useful.

Re: [AI] Enquiry about accessible smart TV Android TV

2019-09-18 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
as per my understanding there is no need to go with Samsung televisions as
they are not based on Android platform but on the other hand many Android
televisions are coming from many brands in India so one can purchase these
Android television like iffalcon by TCL, Motorola, MI, one+, and many
others for true Android television experience. I have both Samsung and
iffalcon by TCL Android TV at my home so based on my experience I cannot
suggest to go with Samsung television. In short I can say to take full
advantage of Android television one should go with stock Android
television. As far as Sony Bravia televisions are concern I found them very
costly as compared to other brands. So according to me it is not advisable
to spend 70 or 80K to purchase Sony Bravia television since you can get
good television with better specifications from other brands at the same
amount.

Re: [AI] Deciding between Android and IOS phones.

2019-03-14 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
On this subject what I think is that I will never spend three times or
sometimes even 4 times money extra as compared to Android phone for
purchasing Apple iPhone. You can purchase far more better Android phone on
the same money that you can spend for purchasing iPhone. You can purchase
any Android one phone since these are totally accessible. I have used Apple
iPhone for 6 months but after 6 months I replaced this phone from an
Android phone.

Thanks for joining Be My Eyes, we are thrilled to have you as part of our
community. As a Be My Eyes user, you now have free, unlimited access to a
global network of volunteers, who are ready to provide you with on-demand
visual assistance at a moment’s notice.

Now that your Be My Eyes account is all set up, we strongly encourage you
to make your first call to a volunteer, so you feel comfortable using the

dates of food or something else you’d like to know.

Making a call is simple. There are two types of Be My Eyes calls:
Pressing *‘Call
first available volunteer’*, connects you with a sighted volunteer from
whom you can receive a range of assistance. Tapping *‘Specialized Help’*
leads you to a list of companies available in your country. From this menu,
you may select the company or organization you want to get in touch with
and place a call to a company representative. Answer times may vary based
on language settings, but on average calls are answered in less than 30

2019-03-11 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
The easiest way to accomplish the same is:
1. Open system tray using insert f11.
2. Find the defender antivirus using the arrow keys.
3. Use tab to find right single click button and press enter on it.
4. Use arrow keys to find scan option and press enter on it also

Re: [AI] Amazon Echo or Google Home? Please guide

2019-01-23 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
Hey,
in terms of accessibility both the smart speakers are totally accessible.
Interface of both the apps Amazon Alexa that is used for setting up Amazon
echo and Google home that is used to setting up Google home are totally
accessible. Amazon echo has some physical buttons like increasing or
decreasing volume but Google home does not have these buttons but in both
the smart speakers you can increase or decrease volume by your voice
command also. Amazon echo comes in 2 versions one is called second
generation and the second one is third generation. 3rd generation Amazon
echo has good sound as compared to second generation of Amazon echo. In
terms of sound quality what I found is that Google home is better than
Amazon echo but on the other hand Amazon echo is more localised then Google
home in the Indian context. for performing many task I found that Alexa is
more smarter than Google assistant. In the Indian context Amazon Alexa can
perform more tasks than the Google assistant like Amazon echo can play AIR
FM gold, FM rainbo,, red FM, redio Mirchi, vividbharti BBC Hindi redio and
so on. you can stream NDTV India and NDTV 24 into 7 in both the speakers.
you can talk with Google Assistant in Hindi also but Amazon Alexa supports
only English. My findings are based on Google home mini and Amazon echo dot
second generation. on Amazon great Indian sale and on Flipkart republicday
sale is going on so go ahead and make your choice.

Even I am unable to understand that Universities like University of Delhi
can pay some monthly amount to their professors and assistant professors to
keep the assistant then why Central or government school can't pay some
amount to the visually impaired teachers for the same.

You can also consider State Bank of India as a good option for opening a
savings account.
Its internet banking portal and mobile app both are totally accessible with
the screen readers like jaws and TalkBack. With the State Bank of India
internet banking you can also use multi purpose app yono.

On Thu, Dec 13, 2018, 9:17 AM I can suggest you to open the account with the canara bank.

Re: [AI] Talking weighing scale found

2018-11-29 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
Hey,
I have ordered and receive the following product from Amazon From the
following URL
Venus VTS-1999 Light Weight...
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B079GSPFRN?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
After using the machine what I found is, it has no physical buttons so
there is no need to on or off the machine. That means after putting two
batteries in the machine it automatically gets power on. Just stand on the
glass of the machine it will automatically announce the weight like your
weight is 54 kg or your weight is 55.7 kilogram. After announcing the await
twice it automatically gets power down and it will also announce powering
off

On Fri, Nov 30, 2018, 12:16 PM I’ll be getting the ordered weighing scale by Monday. Once I get it, I’ll

Re: [AI] (no subject)

2018-11-27 Thread mohammadwaseem khan
While using both the devices Amazon echo and Google home what I found is
1. If you are a Amazon prime customer then Amazon echo is more useful,
Alexa can play many Indian radio stations like a IR FM gold FM rainbow
radio Mirchi radio Nasha radio dhamaal and many others, she can also play
BBC Hindi radio from TuneIn NDTV India and NDTV can also be accessed by the
Alexa. On the other hand Google home can play NDTV India but as if now it
is unable to play Indian radio station and FM. Google play music can be
used with Google home but very few songs are available for free subscribers
but if you are a Google music subscriber then a lot of options are
available to play.
2. to play the videos from the Amazon prime or YouTube you need to connect
compatible TVS to both Amazon echo and Google home. Same is also required
to play the videos from Netflix or any video provider.
3. while finding the facts on the Internet both the devices are more or
less ok.
As if now both the devices cannot search the information from the specified
websites like Google or Yahoo but both the devices can search the general
information from the internet.
4. Google home uses Google assistant to provide the information so Hindi
language is also there in Google home. While Hindi language is not
supported by the Alexa as of now.
As I mentioned in my previous mail in terms of sound quality Google home is
the best option otherwise Amazon echo is good according to my findings.
Both Amazon echo and Google home can control many compatible household
devices like lights, TVs, ACs and so on.

On Wed, Nov 28, 2018, 8:24 AM Asudani, Rajesh I live with alexa.

Hey,
I am using both Google home mini and Amazon echo for almost 2 months. what
is found is that in terms of sound Google home is the better option but in
Indian scenario what I found is Amazon echo more efficient and useful in
terms of playing all India radio and FM what I want to say is Amazon echo
is more localised as compared to Google home but Google home also supports
Hindi language.

Subject: [AI] automatically run programs or files from a CD

 hello all at accessindia.

sometimes, we want to automaticly run a software, or load some program
from a CD without doing anything or going anywhere.
the good example could be, running the jaws setup providing speech, or
 loading portable version of NVDA.
in normal cases, if we normally write files to a disk, we need to
take sited help on a different computer, for navigating folders of CD
 and running the exact file.
however, the actual difference between a normally written disk and an
autorun cd, is just 1 file with 2 lines of instruction.

the file, which makes this difference, is called autorun.inf
if the basic settings for how windows handle disk haven't be changed,
as soon as you insert the disk, your operating system ( windows )
checks for this autorun.inf file and executes the instructions with
 in.
this, file can be created useing simple note pad file, and needs to be
saved with the name of autorun.inf
note: the name should be autorun.inf,
 not autorun.inf.txt
also, this file should be saved on the root of the drive, and not
 under any sub folders.
the syntax of autorun can cover a lot of topics, such as creating icon
of the disk, creating different submenus for different tasks, etc
i, however, in this article is just covering a single aspect of
autorun, and that is to automatically open/run a file.

this, i can explain taking an example of some program/file to
 demonstrate the actual syntax.

suppose i have NVDA's portable version, named nvda_portable
the executable file to load NVDA, is called NVDA.exe located inside
 the nvda_portable folder.
note: please configure any file/software/settings before writing to
the disk. after this, no actual changes can be done.

 steps:
 1. open note pad
 2. write these lines to the file
 [autorun]
 shellexecute=nvda_portable\nvda.exe
 3. save this file with the name of autorun.inf
 4. copy this file to the root of the disk.
 5. copy the nvda_portable folder
 6. write all these files to disk.

next time, as soon as you insert this disk into any computer having
sound card, the NVDA will automatically load, and will start giving u
the speech output like a screen reader.

same format can be used for creating autorun of any other file, for
example, the setup of jaws, powerpoint presentations, mp3 files, and
 many more.
also, do not put the default drive letter in autorun file such as
 shellexecute=e:\jaws_setup.exe, because, different computers have
different drive letters assigned to a CD
 you should right,
 shellexecute=jaws_setup.exe
 or,
 shellexecute=softwares\speech\jaws\jaws_setup.exe
the location specifyed inside autorun.inf file should be exact
location of that file on the disk.
also, due to security reasons, autorun may not properly work on all
USB drives.( however, they will surely work in all cd's)

hopefully, this information could be useful for some of you.
all your suggestions, feedbacks and views are welcome.
