Hi,


The paid version costed me 300 rupees. Now, to play, first open the 
blind cricket app. Turn off the TB. Follow the tutorial that comes when 
you start the game for the first time and it should be good to go. Still 
feel free to connect if you still find some issues.

The Andhra players are ecstatic. They have just beaten a strong
Karnataka team to win the Nagesh Trophy National T20 Tournament for
the Blind for the third successive time.
The win brought a purse of Rs 1.2 lakh for the champions while
runners-up Karnataka were awarded Rs 80,000. No sooner did the dust
settle after the celebrations and trophy presentation than the harsh
reality of life that dogs these players every day came back. The blind
cricketers — 28 teams participated in this year’s tournament — only
get Rs 700 as match fee. The winners and runners-up will share the
financial ‘rewards’ with all team members, which roughly works out to
Rs 5,000 per player for the Karnataka team and Rs 7,500 per player for
Andhra Pradesh’s players. Add Rs 3,500 for playing five matches,
including the final, and the cricketers — most of them partially or
completely blind — are only taking home only 8,500 to Rs 11,000,
depending upon the team’s placement.
Where is the money?
While the tournament had several sponsors, including IndusInd Bank and
ONGC, who have been supporting the cause of blind cricketers, very
little is showing up in the bank accounts of these bravehearts. What
is shocking is that both sides were stacked with India internationals,
who had been instrumental in India winning the Blind World Cup four
times in a row.
Prakash Jayaramaih, 40 years old, was the vice-captain of the Indian
Blind team and played a big part in India’s wins in two International
World Cups and two T20 World Cups. His day job is that of an
accountant in Ramnagar district of Karnataka. His family, including
his parents, wife and children, depends on his meagre monthly income
of Rs 12,000.
“I do not know the number of times I have approached our state
government for employment. All we get is assurances but nothing has
happened,” Prakash, who has only 30 per cent visibility in his eyes,
said of his struggles.
“My father, who was a lorry driver, has been bedridden for eight years
after an accident. My mother, wife and children are all dependant on
me. Only I know how I have struggled money-wise,” he added.
Tough life
Standing next to him is Sunil Ramesh Kumar, another of India’s World
Cup stars. Sunil, who lost his eyesight when he suffered an injury
while playing cricket, has a similar story to narrate. Son of farm
labourers Ramesh and Vanaja, the BA (History) graduate is still
dependent on his father’s earnings, though he feels he should be the
one taking care of his family.
“It has been hard. I have been playing cricket since 2014 and was part
of the Indian team from 2016. Apart from the small match fee that we
get, there is hardly any way I can support my parents,” Suresh said.
“The sponsors help us a lot in terms of kit and other needs but I
still need to contribute in terms of income. Unfortunately, I haven’t
been able to get a job.”
The tournament saw 28 teams and over 400 cricketers and support staff
taking part in this annual affair. Sixty matches were played over six
venues in and around the National Capital Region. The Cricket
Association of Blind in India (CABI) spent over Rs 1 crore in hosting
the tournament, according to its treasurer, Chandrasekhar KN. However,
the show-stoppers — the cricketers — are not on the money wagon.
Andhra Pradesh captain A Ravi said passion for the game is what drives
the majority of the blind cricketers. His father is a tailor and Ravi
is still getting pocket money from him. “I am still searching for a
job. We will get something like Rs 7,500 and some match fee here. It
is not enough for sustenance. I think we are still doing it because we
are still committed and passionate for this game,” he said.
Some good news
There are chances that the lives of at least a few may improve as the
Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has signalled it might
support the Differently-Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), an
umbrella body of differently-abled cricket associations. The DCCI may
be formally recognised during the BCCI AGM in December. Once that
happens, Ravi, Prakash and his fellow strugglers will get a proper
calendar of domestic and international matches. The match fee will see
a big hike. Above all, international and national-level cricketers
will be able to claim pension, much like former India and First-Class
cricketers.
“BCCI secretary Jay Shah has promised to help the DCCI and he has
assured us of all help. This is only a start of good things for our
players,” DCCI secretary general Ravi Chauhan said.
Until that time, Ravi and his friends will have to go about their
business running on passion alone.

while mainstream cricket players are transported in air-conditioned
vehicles worldwide.

Paucity of funds has forced organisers of the maiden T-20 Asia Cup
Tournament for the blind, which is scheduled to begin at Jawaharlal
Nehru Stadium here on Monday, to hire online cabs like Uber and Ola to
transport players.  “Currently, we have arranged two vehicles to carry
the 150-odd players and one Innova car for the officials. In such
situations, we do not have any other option but to go for the online
cab service. Earlier, we used to have sufficient number of vehicles to
pick up players from hotels and to drop them at the stadium. However,
dearth of funds has forced us to reduce the number of vehicles to
three,” said T-20 Asia World Cup organising secretary Rajanish Henry,
who is also general secretary of the Cricket Association for the Blind
in Kerala.  As per the original plan, the CABI is required to raise Rs
94 lakh for conduct of the Asia Cup. However, it could raise only Rs
15 lakh so far.

“The total amount includes expenses related to launch of the event and
advertisement in the media. Even after removing all the additional
expenses, we still have to raise Rs 70 lakh to conduct the tournament.
The cost of providing five-star accommodation to the players and
officials alone will be around Rs 30 lakh,” said Rajanish.  Though
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had assured financial aid of Rs 25 lakh
at the time of inaugurating the event, there is still uncertainty over
the remaining fund. It is learnt that the government has constraints
to provide the entire amount as sports items of physically challenged
person are yet to be recognised by the Sports Ministry.

“The Chief Minister has assured that the government would find
sponsors to raise fund for the event, which is our only hope. Steps
should be taken to consider games of physically challenged persons
also as normal sports events. While countries like Sri Lanka and
Pakistan give due respect to sports of the disabled, such players are
facing neglect in our country,” Rajanish said

Friends, Blind cricket association india completed successive
 tournment in punjab, punjab cricket league comprising of 60 players
 from all over punjab, players were randemly divided into 4 teams as
 punjab yellow, punjab red, punjab nevy blue & punjab sky blue.  the
 tournment was held in Khalsa college Jalandhar with the kind
 cooperation of Shree.Baljinder singh president Sports & Welfare
 society Punjab & Shree Atmaram General Secretary Rashtriya Andh
 Vidhyalaya Jalandhar, the tournment was held on 7th & 8th November
 2015 from central body Blind cricket association General Secretary
 Shree.Manvender Singh Patwal had gone for observation & also blind
 cricket asociation wice president Shree.Gurupreet Singh assisted for
 organising the tournment.  Punjab Sky Blue won the tournment the
 closing ceremony was held in Jalandhar central Library auditorium the
 chief guest was famous Punjabi Folk Singer Shree.Mangi Mahal attended
 the closing ceremony & entertained all the players by singing Punjabi
 Folk Songs.  Arrangements made by Shree Baljinder singh was very
 appretiated by  all the people who had come to see two days matches.

 Jammu & Kashmir team for the first time participated in interstate
 match hosted by Blind Cricket Association India with the kind help of
 Punjab Sports Association & Blind & handicapped school Malpur
 Hoshirpur District in Punjab on 24th October 2015 in Khalsa College
 Ground in Malpur Hoshiarpur, Jammu & Kashmir cricket team was
 captained by Amarjeet & team manager Mr.Kaul,  the match was for 20
 overs J & K team batted first & scored 173 & gave target for Punjab
 team, it was very tough match Punjab team scored 174 in last over just
 two balls were left.  I Mr.Vivek Doddamani south zone secretary with
 our general secretary Mr.Manvender singh Patwal blind cricket
 association had attended this match in Malpur we both kindly thank
 Mr.Gurupreet Singh President Punjab Sports Association for blind &
 Mr.Atar Singh, President Blind & handicapped School Malpur making this
 match a grand success.  Our blind cricket association India will be
 hosting north Zone Cricket tournament in Punchkula Haryana very early

Friends, for the first time in Indian history blind cricket was to be
held in CRPF ground on 2nd  3rd April 2015 between Punjab  Jammu 
Kashmir as you all are well aware there is severe rain  flood
situation in J  K and meteriological department predicting heavy rain
for the next 72 hours the cricket series has been postponed the next
dates will be announced by BCA India shortly.

Friends, Blind Cricket Association India for the first time in Indian
History conducting Blind Cricket series in J  K, on 2nd  3rd April
2015 Blind Cricket Association has arranged cricket series between
Punjab team  Jammu  Kashmir Team in Jammu, interested blind persons
living in Jammu  Kashmir can visit, the cricket series will be held
in CRPF Ground In Jammu, the organisers of this series are BCA with
the help of local (JK) unit our general Secretary Manvender singh
Patwal  wice president Sh.Gurupreet Singh will be present there Blind
Cricket Association which is truely working for development of Cricket
in India reached almost all states of india except the southern states
Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu  kerala anybody from these
states can come forward  help our Blind Cricket association to
conduct Blind cricket in these states. in the near future our BCA is
planning to arrange blind cricket in north east states also.

Friends, Blind Cricket Association yesterday completed successive
interstate tournment in Tonk Rajasthan in which four teams hasd
participated, though there was heavily raining in all over Rajasthan
the tournment was success, the local BJP MLA Sh.Meheta  Deputy
Collector of Tonk District Ms.Tina Kumar attended the conclusion
ceremony, from our Blind Cricket Association executive body myself
South Zone Secretary  our General Secretary Sh.Manvender Singh Patwal
had attended three days tournment for overall inspection, many states
such as Gujarat, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh have come forward for
interstate tournment hosting in their respective states, but our
association is now planning to host 3rd Blind Premier Legue in Dehera
Dun, this will be our BCA 3rd Blind Premier Legue in which more than
60 players from all over India had attended in the year 2013  2014
this year we are expecting more than 80 players to play in this
premier legue, the detail of this tournment wil be posted in the
future for more details contact Sh.Manvender Singh Patwal, formar

India defeated Sri Lanka by 140 runs. This is Indias 2nd consecutive
victory after losing to Pakistan in their opening match.
India Won the toss and elected to field. India scored 429/6; Ajay Reddy 159,
Deepak 77 not out,

In reply Sri Lanka scored 289/7 in the stipulated 40 overs.

South Africa Vs Australia.
South Africa, batting first, was bowled out for 272 runs in 37.2 overs.

New Delhi, Aug 6: As the blind cricket team leaves on a 10-day tour of
England, the Association for Cricket for the Blind in India (ACBI)
Monday again sought affiliation from the Board of Control for Cricket
in India (BCCI) to provide better training facilities to the team.

Chief coach P. Chandrashekhar said that ACBI is taking all possible
attempts to seek affiliation for the third time.

We tried twice at the time when Jagmohan Dalmiya was the BCCI
president but nothing happened. Now with a new president in Shashank
Manohar, we hope that they will look into the matter soon,
Chandrashekhar told IANS, before leaving for London.

Chandrashekhar said that the team is now being supported by a
Bangalore-based NGO called Samarthanam.

The NGO is also funding the England tour. Due to lack of funds we
hardly get to play matches. We need BCCI help to go on foreign tours
regularly which will give us good exposure, he said .

The team is scheduled to play two 40-over and as many T20 matches
against England. On the last tour, three years back in 2007, the
Indians whitewashed the hosts 5-0.

Chandrashekhar is confident that his team would be able to replicate
the 2007 performance.
