Don't know why, but I am also facing the same problem. I got a suggestion from this list itself which I am using effectivly. Press the right mouce button on the message link and press enter on open. This same or similar kind of problem has been recently discussed in our access india list and if I remember exactly, someone in this list have provided this following solution. Just go to your yahoo mail box. Place the cursor over the e-mail that you are intending to open. press right mouse button and you will get some options and the the first one should be open. Dear access Indians. I have an email id in yahoo.co.in It has not been working from ten days. It gives message that unfortunately the yahoo mail does not currently work with screen readers. Until then, please return to the classic yahoo mail. As instructions given by the yahoo, we have switched to the classic yahoo mail. But the internet explorer automatically closes itself. Hello to all, From past some weeks I am facing some problem with all the yahoo domain mails, like .co.in or .com, or .in. as soon as I go on to the internet explorer and try to open my mails from there I am not able to do so, it gives an internet explorer error and just closes down. and hence reading mails from the web is not possible, I am not even able to forward mails from that yahoo account to any other account. Please can any one help solving this problem? Dear Mamta, I faced a similar problem yesterday while trying to access Yahoo mails through Internet Explorer. But there were no problems in accessing the same accounts through Firefox. Maybe reinstalling Internet Explorer or changing browsers will work. Hi Friends, Whenever I open the letters in Yahoo the website shuts up. I checked the letter and tried forwarding it on to Gmail so that I can read it - but there is no such option. I faced a similar problem earlier, however, it resolved automatically. I use Yahoo because some people having Rediff accounts don't get my letters which I send using Gmail id. dear sudhakar hi I am not shore weather any person from customer care will call you or not. It is one of the steps while registering with yahoo. However, you can take help of sighted person to solve this problem. You have to type the character shown in picture in text box. Bye the way picture is inaccessible. Therefore, you will have to take assistance of some some sighted person. As far as my knowledge goes yahoo does not provide audio solution to this. In addition, this is not a tall useless cause it prevents automatic spam mails. As software, which sends spam, mails can fill to/CC/BCC fields; subject fields and your message body and send it. However, it cannot fill the text shown in picture, because it is random image file, making text shown in picture unpredictable.
