I use Jabra Soundlink evolve 20MS, it costs around 5k and I haven't
used a more comfortable headset before. It works on USB as well as
3.5mm connection.

Cheers,

 I use windows 10.
The headphone and microphone Jack is the same.
Any solution would be highly appreciable.
 Thanks and regards,
 Vidhya.

Re: [AI] Query on screen reader volume interference while recording

2020-12-06 Thread Siva Suresh
hi.
I am using detachable microphone which can be connected for recording
and attending calls. and disconnected once the job is done. and I
don't face this issue. instead I am looking for a way where I can
record my voice and screen reader for making tutorials so if anyone
have any solution provide me without any third party tools.
Thank you. Shivasuresh

But in today's laptops, there's no separate jacks for headset and
microphone, only a single port. If this be the case, how are you
managing a regular headset and a stand alone microphone at the same
time?

Re: [AI] Query on screen reader volume interference while recording

2020-12-04 Thread Vaibhav Saraf
Hi Vidhya,

You can direct your JAWS output to some other output device like a
bluetooth speaker (if you have one), this should minimize the audio in zoom
when you are using headphone mic and the speaker at moderate volume. I am
not sure if it will help for recording. This can be done from Sound
settings, please try out.

One piece of caution, do refer some step by step tutorial while doing this
as personally I have run into problems when trying this initially, and try
to do it on a device where you have admin privileges first.

Thanks,
Vaibhav
