hello Aishvarya,
on your above query:
1. I am working as a lecturer for English.
2. the college is Eastpoint College of Higher education.
3. the third question needs some elaboration for sure:
I searched the job for myself and no organization was ready to help me
in this regard.
all they were telling was that lecturing is difficult to get and
inaccessible blablabla.
such is the condition of the organizations which are working today in Bangalore.
all they do is to place a blind candidate to a call center and boast
of the high rate of recruitment.
contact me off the list through whatsapp and I will surely give you
some incites.

2020-11-29 Thread Aishwarya Pillai
Thanks a lot Vaibhav and Sandeep,

Your feedback will be very useful. I truly appreciate it. For others
to understand more about this, it is an informal research to know what
job positions are persons with vision impairment are holding in the
market (Private Sector). From my experience working as a Counselor at
LV Prasad Eye Institute which helps in their rehabilitation, there is
a large gap between the employers and candidates with vision
impairment. Our aim through this small research is to identify what
roles are currently being taken up so that we can approach companies
stating that persons with vision impairment are already working in
these positions; thus building a bridge for potential employment. So I
request others also to please leave your responses as it will benefit
many.

Thanks and regards,
Aishwarya.
