Would the Google Ads API also help with OCT

We currently have a semi-manual process for OCT. I use the upload function 
in Google ads to upload the new GCLIDs (try to do it daily, sometimes it's 
a bit longer). By doing this i often get errors which makes sense because 
the old rows are also in the spreadsheet and google says he already has 
those ID's. 

Could the Google Ads API also help with that process? Meaning I can 
integrate it through there (e.g. send the GCLID data to the API which then 
uploads it for me)

Kindly note that with basic access to yourYes, Google Ads API has policies for 
using it in program and solution development developer token, you can execute 
up to 15,000 API calls per day. However, with standard access to your developer 
token, there are no limits on the number of API calls you can make in a day. I 
would recommend you to kindly refer to the "Access Levels and Permissible Use" 
documentation for more information.

2. Have the Policy that use API Call to develop the solution (web service) ?  
non-personal call (business service call) Policy is diffrent?

Yes, Google Ads API has policies for using it in program and solution 
development. You can refer to the "Google Ads API policies" help center article 
for more information regarding the policies.

3. Can I Use API KEY And Token When I start the service, and use someone's API 
KEY (someone aggred) ?

No, you shouldn't use the API token which is created by someone. You should 
create your own developer token and use it. I would recommend you to kindly 
refer to the "How to apply for a developer token" for more information as it 
describes on how to apply for the developer token.

4. Third Points/ Have the Policy that Third Points's Service's API CALL Policy?

Certainly, when using a third party's service that accesses the Google Ads API, 
it's crucial to understand and adhere to their API call policy. This policy 
dictates the guidelines and limitations regarding the frequency, volume, and 
purpose of API calls made through their service. Before integrating with a 
third-party service, carefully review their API call policy to ensure 
compliance and avoid any potential issues with usage limits or violations of 
terms of service. You can refer to the Google third-party policy article for 
detailed information.

5. Third Points/ Diffrence that Third Points's Service's API Call Limit per min 
& per day AND personal API Call Limit ?

There are no separate restrictions in the API call limit using the third-party 
service. In general, for basic access you can make 15000 calls and for standard

Help regarding Google Ads API Basic Access

We need help from the Google Ads API Compliance team on the following -

We applied for *Basic Access* a month back under API Access in our MCC 
account (255-698-1400)

But still in API Access it shows Test Account and we haven't got any reply 
from the Google Ads API Compliance team.

We filled out the Google Ads API Token Application in its entirety but 
still *our applications is not reviewed for over a month* which typically 
get *reviewed within three business days*!

Can someone from Google Ads API Compliance team help us?

someone from google team created an ad for me
I told him I had €50 per day
  except that after 24 hours there are only 28 impressions and zero clicks, 
is that catastrophic?


Can someone help me understand what is wrong with my ads or has the

Need Help retrieving the exact time of a click with GCLID Please

Hi all, I really need help here if someone could be so nice, I'm struggling 
to retrieve the exact time of a click made on my ad thru gclid, I am using 
this query:

Everything works fine, but all the parameters that I looked for inside the 
query builder help like: segments.hour  or clickTime, they don't work, 
could anyone please help me to get this ?

I had submitted the Google Ads API developer token Basic Access Application 
on Oct 1th, 2023. It has been *more than 3 weeks* since then neither I have 
received any application acknowledgement email nor I have received a basic 
access token permission. 

We really need to get this access in order to improve our internal 
analytics and reporting *urgently*.

Developer token approval, help please

['Performance Marketing' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum]

We have been trying to get our Basic Access to the Google Ads API developer 
token approved for production use for close to a month now - Case ID 
9-118034904. Tried emailing and chatting, and submitting tickets 
through every system we can find only to get bounced around and told we 
aren't talking to the right people. Who do we need to talk to to get our 
developer token setup for our production use?

Google Ads API Token Application - No Response over 2 weeks. HELP!

Hi there,

I submitted the Google Ads API Token Application on September 13, 2023 and 
it has been more than 2 weeks but I haven't received any response yet. I've 
also opened several support tickets with  Google Ads API Compliance team
 through this form 

 about 
the issue but also no response. 

Is there any way I can get a status update on this process? My Google Ads 
manager account (MCC) ID associated with developer token is 947-167-4135

It is very urgent that we get a response from Google ASAP, so I would 
really appreciate if you could provide any clue or response on when I can 
expect to have my developer token approved.

Hello everyone, I have the same problem, I have applied to have my 
developer token with basic access level 1 month ago, and I have not 
received any response, I'll provide the MCC from which I am requesting this 
authorization.

I have submitted several compliance forms to the Google Ad API but I have 
no ticket number, I never get an email or confirmation message. 

I have ticket of the case of the help I have requested in the Google Ad API 
support, through which I have reached this support group and forum, the 
tickets support IDs are:

*7-324534450* The Manager Account is ID  607-480-7047.

I'm waiting to hear back about my Basic access application! Please Help!

Hello,

Over a month ago we applied for basic access by referring to this guide (
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/first-call/dev-token#step-3) 
for getting an Basic Access developer token, but we never received a reply.

After that I contact Google Ads API team to help me reach out Compliance 
team, but no response any more.

Last week we decided to contact Compliance Team via this form, but still no 
response. https://support.google.com/adspolicy/contact/contact_ads_api

Google Ads - Please help -I can't log in to my google ads account

Good morning

This is to request support

We are a marketing agency and last week it happened that one of our 
collaborators inadvertently removed access to the accounts we manage, at 
the moment we have carried out several actions:

1. We gave you a Google Ads account recovery
2. We talk through Google support from emails
3. We enter the help center in the forums

None of the previous actions have served, because we entered but the 
accounts still do not come out.

This request is very urgent because we are not managing the account and the 
client is requesting a review. Another important point would be that the 
only ones who had access is from our email

Thank you!  This is exactly what I was looking for.  For anyone who may be 
interested, you have to declare an instance 
of  ConversionValueRule.Types.ValueRuleGeoLocationCondition and use 
the GeoTargetConstants.Add method to add your locations.

Your response does NOT address the problem.  After you set your geo 
locations on your campaign (which we have been doing for years), you need 
to be able to apply value rules to those locations.  That means there must 
be a way to specify a specific location that you want to apply a value rule 
to.  The geo_target_constants property of ValueRuleGeoLocationCondition 
seems like the logical place but it is a read only property.  Instead of 
posting a bunch of links to pages I have already read multiple times, how 
about you provide a code example of how to add a conversion value rule?

CampaignCriterionService, AdGroupCriterionService, and 
CustomerNegativeCriterionService support targeting or excluding various types 
of criteria.

You may see following criteria:

LocationInfo:

Named location targeting is implemented as LocationInfo and are created using a 
fixed set of criteria IDs. The available IDs are listed in the documentation 
and can be individually searched for using the GeoTargetConstantService. These 
criteria can be configured as either positive or negative, with negative 
targets overriding positive ones. By default a new campaign will contain no 
location criteria, which means that all locations are targeted. You may check 
more about Named location targeting.

ProximityInfo:

Radius targets are implemented as ProximityInfo criteria. They can be created 
using either an address or latitude/longitude, and by specifying a radius. They 
can only be configured as positive, and by default a new campaign will not 
contain proximity criteria. You may check more about Radius targeting.

A LocationGroup lets campaigns target multiple geographic regions. These 
regions are defined by a set of locations and a distance radius around each

Your response only explains how to retrieve the location resource names.  I 
need to be able to SET the location for a new value rule.  HOW TO I SET A 
LOCATION FOR A NEW VALUE RILE?

Need Help with ConversionValueRule

I am trying to add a conversion value rule to a campaign but can't figure 
out how to set the geo location.  There is a GeoTargetConstants property 
of ValueRuleGeoLocationCondition, but it is ReadOnly.  When I run the code 
below, I get a TOO_FEW error referencing geo_location_condition.  I know I 
need to add the location, but I can't figure out where.  What am I missing?

With regard to your concern, I'm afraid that is the expected behavior of the 
report wherein its result will be segmented/divided by adgroup criterion. What 
we can suggest is to include the customer.descriptive_name in your SELECT 
clause, then post process its result using this field to get the metrics on a 
customer level. You may also provide to us a un-cropped screenshot of your 
Google Ads UI showing the entity/report that you want to pull, so we could 
check and provide guidance accordingly.

Regarding the error that you are getting, based on this Set a bid on a listing 
group unit node guide, kindly note that you can set bids on unit nodes by 
setting the percent_cpc_bid_micros field or the cpc_bid_micros field of 
AdGroupCriterion. Attempting to do so on subdivision nodes will fail with an 
error. Please note that you can't set the bid amount on a subdivision.

Do you want to use the Google Ads API to generate historical metrics but you 
are new in Google Ads API? If yes and you are getting started by using Google 
Ads API, we highly suggest you to follow this QuickStart Guide. Once you're 
done with this QuickStart Guide, you may then follow the guide for generating 
historical metrics.

Help on generating historical data for a few keywords

Hi,

I want to generate some historical data for the past year or two for a few 
keywords for research purposes and found this page which seems to be 
relevant: 
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/keyword-planning/generate-historical-metrics

However I am unsure where to begin - I have a google ads account and I have 
made a keyword plan with a list of keywords. 

If someone could be of help I would greatly appreciate it!

With regards to your concern, as per this document, kindly note that 
campaign.serving_status field is the ad serving status of the campaign. To 
further check this, could you please provide the uncropped screenshot of the 
Google Ads UI showing this serving status and the complete request and response 
logs with request ID and request header generated on your end so our team can 
provide guidance accordingly?

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not 
available, then send it instead on this email address

Which REST API end points can I use to upload a list containing 
Email Address, Country Code, First Name, Last Name, Phone, Zip
to a user list id?

Also, as per your research, you already found the same issue filed on the 
GitHub issue tracker here, then it is more related to the client library 
concern. However, if you already have created a new issue with Issue tracker 
and didn’t get any response yet, then I would recommend you to wait for their 
reply so they provide further assistance in your concern.

In the meantime, you may also use the Google Ads API REST API calls to get the 
user_list.id. For the REST, you may use the GoogleAdsService's search / 
searchStream method as an example provided here. You may also refer to our 
Query Cookbook guide which contains many reporting samples that correspond to 
some of the default Google Ads screens. Following are the two endpoints to 
fetch the objects from Google Ads:

search

POST /v12/customers/{customerId}/googleAds:search

Returns all rows that match the search query.

searchStream

POST /v12/customers/{customerId}/googleAds:searchStream

Returns all rows that match the search stream query.

I checked in the google-ads-java on giithub and followed the recommended 
workaround mentioned in this thread 
https://github.com/grpc/grpc-java/issues/5493#issuecomment-479156985 but I 
still get the same exception.
I have raised a question on this exception in github since last week but 
yet to get any feedback.

Attached is the log with the exception messages.

May I know how can I resolved this exception?
