How can I get all login users accounts?

2019-06-12 Thread 윤성원
I have a production account for my developerToken, clientId and clientSecret
and a test MCC Account with 5 accounts in child for my test.

I got the refresh token(offline type) for my test MCC account by oauth2
login and tried to get all account list under the logined user wih the
refreshToken.
But I got only one account under the test MCC account.
I added another test account under the test MCC account but the result was
same.
Why can't I get the all list of accounts even though I logged in with the
test MCC account that can access to thier child accounts?

And I tried to logged in with the test child account(one of the subaccount)
but I got this error message.
Client error: `POST https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token` resulted in a `401
Unauthorized` response: { "error": "unauthorized_client",
"error_description": "Unauthorized" }

Thanks.

RE: [Google Ads API] REMOVED resources are not returned when querying the API

2019-06-12 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hello,

I heard back from the team that ad group criteria (and criteria in general) are
actually completely removed from the backend, not simply marked as removed,
when they are removed and have never accrued any stats. This is why you are not
getting the criterion back after it was shown as removed in the change status.

Let me know if you need anything else.

USER_PERMISSION_DENIED from customer service for some accounts in the new Google Ads API which work in the old Adwords API

2019-06-12 Thread Konstantin Tarassow
Hello,

we have a peculiar problem with the new Google Ads API.

We are trying to run the following request:

[2019-06-12 15:29:57] google-ads.NOTICE: Request

> set in the 'login-customer-id' header. See
> https:\/\/developers.google.com\/google-ads\/api\/docs\/concepts\/call-structure#login-customer-id"]"

As you can see we get a USER_PERMISSION_DENIED.
We set the login-customer-id to the id of the corresponding MCC, the
account we request the data for is 9787711904 and is directly under the MCC
4554523147.

A corresponding request to the CustomerService in the old Adwords API with
the same CustomerId, credentials and Oauth refresh token works flawlessly.

We get an error like this for many more customers, but, on the other hand,
many others work and we cannot see any structural difference or any
difference in the approach between the working ones and the non-working
ones. All which do not work in the new API work flawlessly in the old one.

What are we potentially doing wrong?

We know already that if there is an MCC chain like Account A <-
Intermediate MCC B <- Top MCC C and we have the credentials for C, that we
must use C as login-customer-id and not B. But in the given example the
hierarchy consist only of the end account and it's MCC, the credentials
(refresh token) are on the MCC.

Regards,
Konstantin

Hello Bharani,

Yes, it is possible to grant/revoke access to the email address. You could
refer this article to grant access. Before granting the access you could take a
look at the available access levels from here. Also, note that this action can
only be performed via UI but not via API.

Re: Modifying existing Product Partition trees

2019-06-12 Thread Kevin Weitzner
Do you still need help with this? Here is some example in code from one of
my python scripts

adgroup_criterion_service = client.GetService(
'AdGroupCriterionService', version='v201809')

selector = {
  'fields':['ParentCriterionId'],
'predicates':[
{
'field':'AdGroupId',
'operator': 'EQUALS',
'values': adgroup_id
}
]
}
page = adgroup_criterion_service.get(selector)

parent = page['entries'][0]['criterion']

helper = ProductPartitionHelper(adgroup_id)
#root = helper.CreateSubdivision()

for pla in PLAList:
new_product = {
'xsi_type' : 'ProductOfferId',
'value' : ''
}
new_product['value'] = pla
#helper.CreateUnit(self,parent=parent, new_product, 20)
helper.CreateUnit(parent=parent,value=new_product,bid_amount=2)

other_products = {
'xsi_type': 'ProductOfferId',
}

#helper.CreateUnit(
#root, other_products)

# Make the mutate request
result = adgroup_criterion_service.mutate(helper.GetOperations())

---

You need to use the adgroup_criterion_service get on the parentcriterionID to
get the tree, then mutate the tree.

I iterate through my list of Ids to add "for pla in PLAList" -- note you cannot
add more than 5000~ in a single mutate -- and there are limits to how large the
tree can be - if you exceed something like 12-13k it will give an exception.

--

Hope this helps you out - it took me a while to understand how to manipulate
these. The example only works for creating the tree, so it errors if you try
to do it where one already exists.

 Hi,

 So my team is getting the list of affinity and in-market audiences from
 the ConstantDataService.getUserInterestCriterion service, but when
 submitting an adgroup with audience targeting, get something like:

1. errorString:"CriterionError.INVALID_USER_INTEREST"
   2. errorType:"CriterionError"
   3. fieldPath:"operations[1].operand.criterion.userInterestId"
   4. reason:"INVALID_USER_INTEREST"
   5. trigger:"80297"

 Some audience id's work but some fail. I seem to see a correlation:
 some audience id's work for some campaigns, but fail for others.

 Is there a way to fetch user interest criterion lists for affinity
 audience and in-market audience based on their validity for a certain
 campaign? If the campaign -> auidience mapping isn't the issue, what could
 be the issue?

 Best,
 Daniel

DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error is leaking our developer token.

2019-06-12 Thread Nick Petzold
Hi,

I have two problems:

1) I am receiving a DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error when trying to use our
developer token to access the GoogleAdsAPI. We have only recently started
using the AdsAPI and it is working as intended in 2 of the 3 environments
we have (Production: yes, local: yes, development: no). Could this be as
simple as we just haven't checked a box to say that we want our development
client_id to be used on the GoogleAdsAPI?

2) The error message we receive on the above error is as follows:

(<_Rendezvous of RPC that terminated with (StatusCode.PERMISSION_DENIED, The
caller does not have permission)>, <_Rendezvous of RPC that terminated with
(StatusCode.PERMISSION_DENIED, The caller does not have permission)>,
errors { error_code { authorization_error: DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED }
message: "Developer token \'\' is not allowed with project
\'364503087527\'." } , 'YYjgDCK0u7lR_7S1WJq_eQ')

where is our actual developer token we use to interact
with the API. Obviously this is not good as this should be kept secret, but
instead is being broadcast by the Python Lib as part of the exception
handling. Please can this be addressed?

Many thanks,
Nick

Re: Get a list of all the accounts that is accessible by the MCC account which my user has access to.

2019-06-12 Thread John
Hi cv,

You should use search requests instead of get requests to retrieve
information about all individual customers.
Search requests are not limited to 1000 requests per day and only count for
the operation limit, which is unlimited for standard access.

Search requests are not considered to be the same as get requests, even
> though both are used to retrieve data. Therefore, search requests are only
> subject to daily operation limits.
>
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/best-practices/quotas#search_requests

In pseudo-code:

accessibleCustomers = Customer.ListAccessibleCustomers()
for(customer in accessibleCustomers) {
  id = extractIdFromResourceName(customer)
  customer_clients = GoogleAdsService.Search(id, 'SELECT
customer_client.client_customer FROM customer_client')
  for(customer_client in customer_clients) {
client_id = extractIdFromResourceName(customer_client.client_customer)
GoogleAdsService.Search(client_id, 'SELECT customer.id,
customer.descriptive_name FROM customer')
  }
}

Get Report by Demographics Combinations on adgroup level

2019-06-12 Thread Digital Hub Hannover
Hello everybody,
we try to get a demographics report grouped by Combinations (like in
frontend)

We found only the single performance reports in the documentation like

AGE_RANGE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
PARENTAL_STATUS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
GENDER_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

But not combined or Household Income

How is it called in the API?

Migrating from ResponsiveDisplayAd to MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAd

2019-06-12 Thread Panu Kuuluvainen
MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAd does not like my images.

responsive_search_ad = {
'xsi_type': 'AdGroupAd',
'adGroupId': ad_group_id,
'ad': {
'xsi_type': 'MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAd',
'finalUrls': [final_url],
'headlines': [shortHeadline],
'longHeadline' : longHeadline,
'marketingImages' : [marketing_image],
'logoImages' : [logo_image],
'descriptions' : [description],
'businessName' : businessName,
},
# Optional fields.
'status': status
}

Returns: *GoogleAdsServerFault: Unmarshalling Error: cvc-elt.4.3: Type
'ns0:Image' is not validly derived from the type definition, 'AssetLink',
of element 'ns0:marketingImages'. *

I used the media service to create an image. Now it appears I should use
Asset Link.

Something like

asset_link = {'ImageAsset': {'imageData' : marketing_image}}
ad_group_ads = ad_group_ad_service.mutate({ 'operator': 'ADD', 'operand':
asset_link})

Does anyone happen to have an example of how this works?

Encounter InternalServerError when using API to add or update campaign, campaign_budget

2019-06-12 Thread Hoa Mai
Hello, I applied for basic access and get approved. But when I use the

the same error:

campaign_budget = campaign_budget_operation.create
campaign_budget.name.value = 'Interplanetary Budget %s' % uuid.uuid4()
campaign_budget.delivery_method = client.get_type(
'BudgetDeliveryMethodEnum').STANDARD
campaign_budget.explicitly_shared.value = False
campaign_budget.amount_micros.value = 500

*Some details*:
 - I can get all the information from my account using the API, for
example: 'SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name, campaign.campaign_budget FROM
campaign'
 - The code is correct (I test with my test account for adding and updating
my test campaigns and ad_groups with no problem)
 - The code is in Python.
 - I have the developer token for Basic Access.
 - My account works normally with Google Ads UI (adding, updating
campaigns, budgets, ...)

Looking forwards to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Hoa Mai

Empty data in API response for Remarketing accounts

2019-06-12 Thread Marina Nesteruk
Hi!

We use Adwords API to get statistics for several accounts.
We use python lib googleads.adwords, FINAL_URL_REPORT and
CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT.
So, we recieved OK for all accounts, but the response has full data for all
accounts except for two Remarketing accounts. For these accounts we got
empty data (0 rows in result) for all dates, but we can see non-zero shows,
clicks and costs in interface for these accounts for these dates.

we also tried to use AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and
CLICK_PERFORMANCE_REPORT, but we still have the same zero result.

How can we get data for these remarketing accounts?

Thank you!

Re: How to solve DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED error ?

Hi Peter,

We are experiencing the same problem, however we definitely haven't used
the same developer token as this one has been in use for over a year now
and only now has the error started appearing once we have moved over to the
new Ads API.

Do you have any ideas of what it may be?

Many thanks,

CPC (enhanced) via php API

2019-06-12 Thread Dima
 how to turn off CPC (enhanced) via api? I am creating campaings like:

$campaign = new Campaign([
'name' => new StringValue(['value' => "AI_" . $this->log->unique_id . "_" .
$this->log->parameters->name]),
'advertising_channel_type' => AdvertisingChannelType::SEARCH,
'status' => Constants\Status::ENABLED,
'bidding_strategy_type' => BiddingStrategyType::MANUAL_CPC,
'manual_cpc' => new ManualCpc(),
'campaign_budget' => $budgetResourceName,
'network_settings' => $networkSettings,
'start_date' => $startDate,
'end_date' => $endDate
]);

but it is still creating with that checkbox

"Help increase conversions with Enhanced CPC" in campaing -> settings ->
bidding

it will be greate to create campaigns without that (with no more requests).

Callout Extensions & Structured Snippet Extensions

2019-06-12 Thread Stuart Hall
We currently deploy new campaigns based on campaign template. When we
create a new campaign, all the links are updated and new extensions are
created. Everything works well except the callout and structured snippet
extensions final URLs do not get changed. My question is:

Where does Google get this final URL from for the Callout Extension and
Structured Snippet Extension?

How do we make sure when we create a new Callout and Structured Snippet
Extension that it uses the new final URL?

Any help on this would be much appreciated! It's driving us a little crazy.

How do I get Campaigns clustered by Labels at the keyword level?

2019-06-12 Thread K-T75
In the Google Ads UI you can create your own report. I want to rebuild this
table (see picture).

I want to get the performance data from every Label at keyword-level for
every campaign.

Problem: In the API you can't create your own reports. You have too choose
one, but it seems that no report is doing what I want to do.The
KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE also not segments by labels and then there is too much
data. In a CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT I don't have access to the keyword
level.

How can I rebuild this table or how do I get the data? I don't want to sum
up the performance data manually. Any ideas?

Hello, i have just started using ads api by this lib

When trying to work with one of my clients connected to MCC i get

What is the problem?
I use credential which i created from account i normally use. This account
normally works with all the clients connected to this MCC.

PS.. What is the difference between these 2 libs?

Re: How to convert Google-Ads API GoogleAdsRow to json?

2019-06-12 Thread 'UK Analytics' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
You need to use the Google protobuf library:
https://developers.google.com/protocol-buffers/docs/reference/python/

from google.protobuf import json_format

### code to get the object ###

rec_obj = row.recommendation.text_ad_recommendation.ad
json_str = json_format.MessageToJson(rec_obj)
print(json_str)

Re: Get a list of all the accounts that is accessible by the MCC account which my user has access to.

2019-06-12 Thread Jean-Fabrice Rabaute
A lot of people are asking about the same thing, because the "search" api
does not work. The select does not return the information needed by clients
usually.
Data is missing and a subsequent call for each customer is needed to get
more details.
So this "solution" does not work in the real world.

You can see here the list of questions related to this
problem:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/adwords-api/ListAccessibleCustomers|sort:date

I've posted a similar
question:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/adwords-api/ListAccessibleCustomers|sort:date/adwords-api/1jHXnyuwqpE/sTbRy2DLAQAJ

Hopefully the Ads team is solving this problem soon.

Re: Get a list of all the accounts that is accessible by the MCC account which my user has access to.

2019-06-12 Thread Jean-Fabrice Rabaute
Sorry, to make it a bit more explicit, this still generates N queries
instead of one. In the previous API, one query was returning everything.
Here, one query per customer is needed, and when there are 1000 accounts
under an MCC account, it takes several minutes to get back all the
information, and it was taking several seconds only using the old API.

 The RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error does not provide a retryAfterSeconds value.
 The reason you are encountering this is when you are hitting the Daily

Thanks for pointing this out. You may refer to this guide for the list of
services that supports partialFailures. I have taken note of this discrepancy
and will inform the rest of the team to update the documentation as needed.

As for your AdGroupAdService.mutate() request that you expected to return some

SOAP request and response logs so I can further investigate? You may reply

Hi Kevin,

I was able to receive your private message and I also sent you one, directly to
your email. The contents of my response is as you may see below :

"Thank you for providing the information I requested. Also, my apologies for
the back and forth, however, could you also share with me the generated report
file from your Google Ads API report request?"

You may share the said report file via the Reply privately to author option.

Thanks and regards,

RE: CPC (enhanced) via php API

2019-06-12 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Dima,

Thanks for raising your concern. I am happy to provide support to your concern.

In order to set the Manual CPC as bidding strategy type to your campaign, you
need to set the enhancedCpcEnabled field as false. The said field is default to
true when you will not include this is your request and the bidding strategy
that will be set to campaign will become CPC (enhance).

Let me know if you have questions/clarifications.

Regards,
Ejay
