You have to purchase them as Open License (I think, MS licensing is fuck
all confusing) if you want to admin a pool of 365 licenses. I have
Office 365 Plan E3 licenses. I hate the subscription thing, but I hate
dealing with interop issues more and just accept it as a penalty of

got office pro 2016 for $34.

When I looked at Office 365, I think I decided it was cheaper to use
that than to buy every new version.  On the other hand if you're going
to hang on to Office 2003 for 10 years then you're better off buying it
outright, even if you paid full retail price.

I used Libre Office for awhile too.  It works for most things.  I
occasionally had formatting issues importing when somebody else's Word
doc, and spreadsheets with macros would sometimes not work right.

We all use Libreoffice here. Works on windows and linux direct no emulators.
It takes a little getting used to but we all like it mucho betta than
microsoft. I throw them a bone every year

to support the opensource world.
The major learning curve is just remembering to save in the correct
format if being emailed to someone outside the office.

 thats the ticket for sure..
Since I installed CNMaestro on premise I dont have a need for all those.
I only use Cacti as long term graph for throughput for historic purposes.

If you have mibs to load into a mib viewer you can isolate single
OID and follow cacti's docs on graphing a single OID.

Just keep in mind to access that vlan over the wireless it must be
enabled at the subscriber to

all management over wireless and ethernet.
Forgot to do that and had a fun trip back to site to check a box LOL

I know I can add a separate VLAN of course.  I'm just curious.

Re: [AFMUG] ePMP VLAN question

2018-06-20 Thread George Skorup

Doing the same. It'll work fine.

Management VLAN Access:
Configure the interface(s) through which the management interface of the
SM can be accessed, when a Management VLAN is enabled. By default,
management access is only allowed from the Wireless Interface of the SM.

Basically the same setting as MVID passthrough on a Canopy radio.
