Re: [AFMUG] E7-2 GPON and VOIP

2021-10-24 Thread Ryan Ray
We use Calix extensively and are seeing issues with 2.4GHz and the new U6x
(2.5G SFP) hardware. Router says the band is on and ready to connect, but
no devices work.

I'm sure it's just a software issue, but the 844g/e platform before it has
been very good.

I'm getting a little annoyed with CMS lately. Hard to pull metrics or
report on what's going on in my network in a quick and easy fashion. It
needs an overhaul pretty desperately.

Calix is a good all around platform, and we're happy to continue using them
for the foreseeable future.

He was a pretty good county commissioner...did a lot for our area ..his
mansion is about fives minutes from my house...he kept all kinds of exotic
animals...
The place is run down now but with some investments could be a nice night
clubplenty of parking and three floors..

If you are a Dune fan, the subtitles ( if you turn them on) are nice. Much of
the dialog is very quiet. Seeing the odd words is fun. Hearing the
pronunciation is interesting too. They did a great job on the ornithopters.

2021-10-24 Thread Erich Kaiser
We run all Yealink in multiple offices across US, not seeing any issues
like this. Running SIP-T29/46/28S behind mikrotik/ubnt (Single NAT)
back to our Netsapiens cluster in Texas.

Are you running over a wireless link for internet connectivity? Is your
voice going in and out of the same upstream? Are you hosting your own PBX
if so what software?
