We just got the box Monday... configuring it Friday, and then into the
network to test.

Check Ebay. We use a lot of the Quanta servers.

We never buy new servers. Send the specs over to the guys at
https://www.stikc.com/ and they will help you get a matching box.
Usually about half the cost of a new one.

Powercode gave me some recommended Dell servers but looking for something a
little more cost effecting, looking to filter between 1G-2G. Didn't know if
there was a nice cheap box out there preferable something that's not too deep
because one tower i have has a shallow rack only 23 inches depth.

SaiSei used to require some very specific Intel CPU’s. Don’t know if that’s
still the case but make sure before you buy anything that it’s the CPU has the
proper features.

2018-11-19 Thread Josh Luthman
On eBay you can customize servers (I've done Dell a bunch) to how ever much
disk and CPU you want. The only gotcha I've seen is if you buy disks from
a second listing, make sure it's 2.5 vs 3.5 (Dell SSF is 2.5).

What specs were recommended for 1-2 gig?
