[AFMUG] 320SMs on Alvarion software
We raised a ticket with Cambium about some 320SMs that we have that have Alvarion firmware on them. The fix they say is to have the Moto/Cambium firmware in the non-PKG3 format, and then use the Web Page to upgrade the firmware that way. However, Cambium tech support said they don't have that software, even though they must have had it to make the PKG file in the first place. Does someone have any 320SM firmware in non-PKG format? You could probably get it by setting up a ftp server and using port-forwarding on a router: ftp port to that server and http/telnet/snmp ports to a regular 320 sm. If Cambium tech support doesn't help you let me know and I'll try to be creative. No I had looked at pkg3 in the past and IIRC it was something weird like a Java object container file.
