[Ai] JAWS 18 slow on Dell Windows 10 machine and problem with typing letter G.
Dear All, I am using JAWS 18 on a Dell Inspiron 13 5378 machine with Windows 10. Although NVDA is working perfectly well on it, JAWS is very often a little slower than ideal. It feels somewhat like working on power saver mode. The second problem is that at times, it is not possible to type the letter g in an edit field. The issue disappears once I unload and reload JAWS, but only to resurface later. Again, no such thing happens with NVDA which is running smoothly enough on the computer. I have tried reinstalling JAWS, but with no luck. Where may the problem lie, with JAWS, Windows or Dell? Can anyone please help? Thanks, Moiz. Disclaimer: 1. [Ai] Windows 10 slow with JAWS 18
Dear All, I am using JAWS 18 original on a Dell 13 Inspiron 5378 laptop with Windows 10 original. The computer works perfectly well with NVDA, but is very frequently a little slow with JAWS. Not that I get a delayed response from the keyboard or anything, but it feels somewhat like being on power saver mode whenever the problem does surface. I have reinstalled JAWS but with no luck. What may be happening? Can anyone please help? [Ai] Zoo visit a wildlife class for blind students
LUCKNOW: As many as 35 visually challenged children and youths were taken for an excursion to the city zoo on Saturday. The children learnt about wild animals by touching their statues and talking to zoo keepers. For 18-year-old Ashish, who is visually impaired since birth, it was no less than an adventure. "A swamp deer has so many antlers, I thought animals have only two horns," he said. The group was also taken on a toy train ride.. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/lucknow/zoo-visit-a-wildlife-class-for-disabled/articleshow/60242853.cms -- Avinash Shahi Doctoral student at Centre for Law and Governance JNU Disclaimer: 1.
