Merci Basile Je crois que je vais abandonner ce système que personne ou presque semble utiliser bien qu'installer par défaut sur Debian. Lorsqu'on utilise le service networkd, /etc/network/interfaces n'est plus utilisé en fait. Et j'avoue ne pas maitriser du tout cette nouvelle méthode de configuration .. Sorry for the 3 mails. I have check in, I can install on Gentoo Bacula-9.4.4-r2 but it's on testing state. It would be better to install this package with Mysql 8 ? So, I have trie with Mariadb Server version: 10.2.29-MariaDB-log.
I have restore bacula database before all my update and run update_mysql_tables
with success.
But, when I start a backup I get this message again :

(Job,Name,Type,Level,JobStatus,SchedTime,JobTDate,ClientId,Comment) VALUES

I don't understand. If mysql cause that, why with Mariadb is the same ?
And in the script update_mysql_table, I see it:

Hi Erwan,
Honestly, your problem has nothing to do with bacula, its purely database
related.
First, if you insist on using mysql 8, you can't use the version you are using.
You need at least Bacula Release 9.4.3. This is because you will need this
bug fix.
Change mysql my_bool to bool as it was removed from mysql - Done on May 2019
Second, the error bacula reported during insert "ERR=Field 'StartTime' doesn't
have a default value" is because, previously mysql used to allow null dates.
Current sql_mode don't allow that any more. Google on sql_mode and dates and
you should get an idea on what to do that suites Gentoo.
In short, your pains are all caused by mysql and require just mysql skills to
resolve.

Hi Erwan,
Hope you had made a catalog backup before schema upgrade.
You can't use bacula 9.0 with mysql 8. mysql made some change that were only
fixed in a later bacula version, think bacula 9.2.
So if you have to use mysql 8, please use the latest bacula binaries.
Alternatively, use Mariadb, which would be my advice as it don't change your
plans at all.
Also, change the sql mode to match that of earlier versions. Something like
this "sql_mode = NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
Anyway, all this depends on whether you have a backup.

Hope you had made a catalog backup before schema upgrade.
You can't use bacula 9.0 with mysql 8. mysql made some change that were only
fixed in a later bacula version, think bacula 9.2.
So if you have to use mysql 8, please use the latest bacula binaries.
Alternatively, use Mariadb, which would be my advice as it don't change your
plans at all.
Also, change the sql mode to match that of earlier versions. Something like
this "sql_mode = NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
Anyway, all this depends on whether you have a backup.

So I have try this "sql_mode = NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION" because I would like to
keep version of my distribution (gentoo).

Bonjour Joël, Sur mes serveurs importants c'est ce que je fais, car je n'avais le temps de me pencher sur la nouvelle syntaxe. Ce serveur ne faisant que du stockage, j'ai laissé la configuration native de la distribution histoire de commencer à découvrir cette nouvelle syntaxe. Cela laisserait donc entendre que le problème vient plus de "la merdouille infame" que d'une erreur de syntaxe ? Honnêtement, si je n'ai pas cherché sur ce serveur à remettre en place l'ancien système c'est dans le seul but de la découvrir et l'éprouver. Bonjour, Ne le prends pas mal, mais je dois poser une question préalable. Pourquoi faire gérer cela avec systemd plutôt qu'à l'ancienne avec /etc/networking/interfaces ? La question n'est pas anodine. Systemd est une merdouille infame qui gère certaines dépendances comme un pied (surtout les trucs qui tournent autour du réseau) et ce qui fonctionnait parfaitement avec la version n de systemd peut très bien ne plus fonctionner avec la version n+1. J'ai encore eu le gag lors de la dernière mise à jour de systemd (pas avec des vlan mais avec des VPN bridgés, alors que les dépendances sont explicitement spécifiées, ce qui fait tomber tout un tas de daemons par la suite). Hello, Si tu choisis de mettre le disque en spare, il ne se mettra en marche que quand un autre tombera en panne. C’est-à-dire qu'il ne s'usera pas en fonctionnement normal mais cela engendrera un temps de reconstruction du raid (les données devront être copiées dessus). Un raid 1 sur 3 disques fait que les 3 disques ont les données et t'autorise donc à perdre jusqu'à 2 disques sans perte de données mais dans ce cas les 3 disques fonctionneront en permanence et s'userons mais tu n'auras pas de temps de reconstruction en cas de perte d'un disque. C'est un choix à faire ... Bonne journée ! Heu, je ne suis pas d'accord avec toi. Un disque de spare c'est un disque inactif. So, I have restore my old kernel (and after I restore /lib64/modules) and I have the same message The only kernel work now is the first given by Tilaa at the first setup : vmlinuz-3.8.13-gentoo I would like to update all without reinstall but I don't know where I can look for this problem. It says that your OneDrive is write protected, but presumably Bacula does not want to write on the drive, but read it. If you are trying to write to it, then you have mounted it incorrectly. If you are trying to back it up (read from it), then it looks like you have a Windows problem where the drive cannot be accessed. I would try rebooting the machine. If that does not solve the problem, then try turning off VSS. In any case, something is broken on your machine -- probably Windows. Bonjour, Merci à tous pour vos réponses. J’ai réussi à m’en sortir en refaisant une conversion avec reconfiguration. Cela me permettait au moins d’avoir un menu Grub qui s’affiche bien. J’ai ensuite du faire un update-grub pour corriger les id des disques dans grub.cfg (et surtout pas de grub-install car cela reprovoquait le freeze au boot). Bonne fin de journée ! Cette situation est bancale car en cas de mise à jour des paquets grub*, grub-install risque d'être exécuté automatiquement et de casser l'amorçage de ton système.

J'ai décoché la reconfiguration de la VM dans les paramètres VMWare Converter car cela me donnait cette erreur : FAILED: An error occurred during the conversion: 'boost::filesystem::directory_iterator::construct: No such file or directory: "/mnt/p2v-src-root/lib/modules"' Donc après conversion, je boot sur un livecd et je fais grub-install et update-grub mais après reboot malheureusement je bloque sur çà : [cid:image001.png@01D3915A.F6F6F420] Que puis-je faire ? Your problem is probably related to an eclass change affecting multiple packages.

What I have to do ? I see a new feature in bacula 7.4: “Verify Volume Data” If I understand well that verifies that the volumes are not corrupted? Can we check all the volumes of a storage resource ? Hmm. It does not sound too good. I am sorry to hear that you only find zeros everywhere. Bacula cannot do much with zeros :-( Still, I would suggest that you try "bls -p File" without the bsr file. That way, it will attempt to look at everything. If the -p option does not resolve the missing label, use dd to copy about 300 bytes from a valid volume. There may be something somewhere in the file that could be useful and perhaps recovered. I am not sure that Bacula can read through a bunch of zeros though ... Bonjour, Je souhaiterai savoir sil existe encore des utilisateurs de galette ? Car à première vue, il ny a plus de mise à jour sur le site depuis une année. En ce qui me concerne, je viens tout juste de linstaller sur une machine tournant sur debian quasi dédié. Jen suis globalement satisfait. Par contre, je narrive à envoyer aucun mail depuis linterface (sauf bien sur avec le lien mail to).
