Hi, Folks. I currently have a Pioneer VSX932 A/V home theater
receiver. Works great, but requires sighted assistance in setting it
up and keeping it properly configured. The system is a 7.1 surround
sound system.

Does anyone know what systems might be accessible to us, either via
iPhone app or otherwise? Thanks in advance. I'm tired of paying Best
Buy to reprogram my system.--Matthew Chao

Re: [all-audio] Accessible Field Recorder

2023-10-09 Thread Matthew Chao via groups.io
Actually, want to start with something that's easy to use, yet I can
grow into it as my skills develop.  Can do without binaural if that will
make things less complicated.  I also plan to use GoldWave as my sound
editor, as Sound Forge is too expensive. thoughts on a good, small,
portable, yet accessible recorder? thanks.--Matthew Chao

On 10/9/2023 7:59 AM, Hamit Campos wrote:

Mathew. How big do you want the recorder? Cause in your case you could if you
don't need XLRs just get the Zoom H3 VR. But if you want XLRs this next 1 will
be quite big though and it's 3 apps on a touch screen. But you could get the
new Zoom H8 and it's VR H8 peace. It comes with the XY H6 from the 6. But if
you want wider you can get it's XAH8 peace. Which goes from XY to A B.

Yesterday morning was very quiet compared to what things usually amount to
not so later on in a day.

Anyway judge for yourself.
