For me its not logical - first should be done, what I do (paragraph end), then
what Oo does (AutoCorrect).
Because:
1. If I wouldn't press return, autocorrect would not start, so it cannot be done
before the paragraph end made by me!
2. It's the easiest way to undo autocorrection to press ctrl+z afterwards - but
with this strange sequence it's not (no more ↓) possible!
3. It was always like that in older versions (I think to remember)

The behaviour you describe is correct for me. If you type a real sentence with 
several words you can see that it is the first white space which trigger 
autocorrection. So autocorrection comes first and start a new paragraph after. 
And "undo" replays the commands in reverse order.

However it is not a real defect at all.
User dictionaries are meant to provide _limited_ means to modify spell checking
results. They are not meant to make up for missing or rather incomplete base
dictionaries.

There is a limit to how many entries can be shown in the dialog that edit
entries and that limit will even be smaller when the dialog should still be
usable and responsive in a reasonable amount of time.
Also having too many entries in a user dictionary may well have a negative
impact on the spell checking performance since similarity search is applied to
get proposals as well from those entries.

Still, the limit for the numbers of entries may be increased somewhat...

Although we seem to be looking at the same programme version I'm unsure why you
cannot find the help file section referred to. 

The problem is inserting a hyperlink into a table field and the function does
not work as described previously. Rather than simply write off the problem as
invalid can you send me a valid e-mail address and to whom a return message
should be marked out to for attention please? I can then send two screen
captures as attachments in .odt format clearly showing (a) the database table
with the "Source" field into which a hyperlink needs to be inserted and (b) the
help file topic that describes how - but the function is simply unavailable
being greyed out.

Only the first two methods described in the help file of inserting a hyperlink
are relevant to what I want to resolve.

I have a database with several tables. If I go to Tools--Relationships, I can
set single (1-n) relationships between tables with no issues. 

I can (since upgrading from 2.3 to 2.4) set multiple 1 to many relationships
(either through trying to  drag and drop a second relationship, clicking edit on
the resulting error dialogue box; or by double clicking the relationships line).
I can get multiple relationships to appear (I see a new line for each new
relationship), however when I save and exit Relationships it discards all but
the first listed relationship between any two tables.

Even immediately after setting up these multiple relationships, I am able to add
invalid data into all but one field in my table without getting an error
message. Sure enough, if I go back into Relationships, all the extra lines have
disappeared and only one relationship per pair of tables is listed in the
Relations editing window.

[I can't see how to add an attachment otherwise I'd upload an example. I don't
know what the difference is between OOo 2.4.1/RC1/RC2]

I have just been experimenting with version 3.0 Beta 2 on XP.

It appears that at some point since I made the original report there has arisen
a sort of work-around.  If no particular range on a tab is selected, then
selecting 'selection' on the export to pdf dialogue will export only the current
tab.

This works quite nicely, and just about produces the results I was interested
in.  But the ergonomic could be a little more obvious when export to pdf is
selected, so I suppose this cannot be closed yet.

The sister issue, 59697, for printing appears to have been addressed.

There is now a 'selected sheets' radio button on the print dialogue that does
exactly what I was proposing.

This is a QuickStart issue, I believe, not a framework.  There was no QuickStart
module choice in the Bug Report selection.  The QuickStart functions only once
and will not start again unless soffice.exe and .bin are removed from the
Windows XP Process list.  Once the two files are removed, the QuickStart
functions as expected.

When opening a "Shared" Office 2003 Excel sheet file (.xls) with Calc 3.0b2, a
lot of basic information is missing.

When I look at "Tools => Share Document..."

1. Calc doesn't show me the other Excel 2007 users in the dialog.  I do see my
own Calc user Information.

2. The "Share this spreadsheet with other users" checkbox is unchecked.  Under
Excel, this corresponding checkbox is checked.

3. Excel 2007 users don't see me as a "User currently accessing this 
spreadsheet".

The good news is Calc doesn't "block" shared access to Excel users of this same
.xls file as 2.4 does.  Without the rest, I don't know how much of the "shared"
behavior I should trust when editing (shared).xls files.  We use the "shared"
feature to schedule access to test equipment, and edit group project status
reporting (we use this feature heavily).

I have found a simple solution of this bug and one more I found working on
this one. It's not particularly smart--it simply tests in
ComboBox::PreNotify() if the window sending notification is the listBox
and doesn't let the mpSubEdit grab focus in that case--yet another
workaround relying on specific behaviour of other components involved.

The solution changes behaviour of ComboBox, however--click on any part
aside of the listBox (even the scrollbars) is followed by the editField
getting focus.

The other bug I've spoken about is reproducible following these steps:

1. open font dialog
2. click to size box on some number somewhere in the middle of the listBox
3. click on one of the arrows of vertical scrollbar

Now focus is on item before (or after, depending on which arrow has been

is both, a font-family itself and a style in the not-condesed font-family.

I made a simple example file. I set the Default style to be Courier 10pt, then 
entered some text, highlighted it, and manually set the font to Times New 
Roman, 16pt.  This mimicked the issue I was seeing in the MS Word Documents I 
had on-hand.

The manual font change overrides the Default style (which is set via "" CSS in the HTML), by wrapping the paragraph in a couple 
of nested "" tags.  However, the  tags appear AFTER the 
open-double-quote, causing those characters (at the beginnings of paragraphs) 
to miss out on the manual font change.

I wish that I could tell you more about what is happening, but I can't seem to
find any core dumps, log files, or anything that would assist me in tracking
these things down, without running OO in a debugger.

The crashes have occurred in Impress and Writer. Impress has failed twice when
using Master Pages and Templates, both in an existing document and while trying
to create a new one. Writer seems to crash at random and I haven't figure out a
pattern yet.

I agree, with OO300_m2 there was no such problem for me. However, once I 
upgrade to BEB300m3 Build 9328 (I've redownloaded the distributive today) the 
crash is 100% reproducible again.
After a short testing I've noticed that the application crashes with 
Control+ only when I'm switched to Russian keyboard layout (Russian-PC). 
With US layout it works fine (at least it does not crash).

Just had a crash in Open Office 3 beta 2 and the recovery process said it
succeeded but the impress document I was working on was lost completely and
reverted to the original state I opened it from.

I tested again with the following document:

The transparent graphics are very uggly. (tested with OOo-Dev m28 and OOo3.0m2,
Sun PDF Import Extension 0.3.1-LinuxIntel). Is this an error inside the
extension or inside OOo-Core?

Hi,

unfortunately, it is too much work for me atm. 

This is  a very platform dependent task, because every platform needs a special
set of patches, which must be reapplied to the new python version, so the one
doing the job needs to communicate a lot with other community members to get
this done.

I flag this issue as later, as I currently can't say when this issue is 
started.

- started hyphenation (tools-language-hypgenation).
- somewhere stopped, because it was necessary to correct manually (see issue 
78493) 
- gone there (searching, cause cursor stood at the top of the document)
- manually put a possible hyphenpoint (soft hyphen)
- started hyphenation again
- hyphenation starts from the top again (beginning again with footnotes, then
with text from the top)

would like, hyphenation starts from the cursorposition

(btw - don't know why hyphenation is "hidden" in tools-language while
spellchecking is right in tools)
