When I save it using Thunderbird v1.5 on my Windoze XP machine, it produces this corrupted file. When I save it using a newer version of Thunderbird on a W2K machine, the file is good. This leads me to suspect that the old Thunderbird is defective. In any case, it is clear that the problem was my corrupted file, not OO. Therefore I am requesting that my bug report be declared invalid. Sorry for the trouble. NHA - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The fact that I can't reproduce this bug at will does not mean that it does not exist. By setting the resolution to INVALID you are either denying the veracity of my report, or saying that it is not a problem. I hope you don't mean either of those, which means that the resolution is wrong. WORKSFORME would be a valid status, CLOSED is not. Of course this would imply that somebody actually looked at the code with this report in mind. As a programmer I am fully aware that this kind of bug report is difficult to deal with. OTOH, these kinds of reports can be invaluable when tracking down those really nasty bugs. I suggest that this kind of cavalier handling of bug reports does not encourage people to take the time to submit them. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I edit it, save it, and life is good. The next day (the computer is still running and I am still logged in), I open the document again, and now several paragraphs are whitespace. No amount of ctrl-shift-R fix it. Disabling graphics acceleration does not help. Multiple attempts produce the same result. When I log out and log back in again, the problem is solved. [sw-issues] [Issue 108050] address labels chop off b ottom half of last line on page
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=108050 User azadian changed the following: What|Old value |New value Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Additional comments from azad...@openoffice.org Tue Jan 5 19:15:08 + 2010 --- I think I've figured out what is going on here. When I say that the page has only 8 rows instead of 9, the size of the page is automatically re-defined. My (postscript) printer then asserts its bottom margin, and voila!, the bottom half of the last line is chopped off. This automatic re-definition of the sheet size is the crux of the matter. Obviously this is often what is wanted, but if you simply want to leave the last row of labels unused (e.g., because of this bottom margin problem), then it is wrong. Ideally there would be an option to specify the sheet size independently of whatever labels are (defined to be) on it. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The last line on the page gets chopped in half vertically, even though there is 1cm of empty page left. The weird thing is, the exact same thing happens when I redefine the page to have 8 rows. In this case there is 6mm empty space at the bottom of the 8th row of labels. I have 5 lines of text on each label, plus a blank line at the top. Everything fits in very well, if it would just print the lower part of the last line. I don't know if this bug belongs in base or calc or writer or infrastructure. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [dba-issues] [Issue 108037] import wizard type format ting multiple selection broken

One then has the impression (hope) that setting the column information will update all the selected fields. Unfortunately, only the first selected field is updated; the rest are silently ignored. The easiest way to fix this would be to disable multiple selection. This would keep existing functionality and prevent the user from shooting himself in the foot. The preferred solution would be to do what the user obviously intends, namely to update the column information for all of the selected field names. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
