OOo now claims when opening many documents, that they are defect and should be repaired, while OOo 1.1.4 opens them like a charm (see the attatched document "without_manifest.sxw"). When repairing the documents automatically with OOo 2.4, they are just empty. For this I unpacked the sxw file and detected, that the /META-INF/manifest.xml file is missing. I wrote such a manifest.xml and packed a new sxw document. Now, OOo 2.4 opens the document without problems, even without a repair dialogue. Opening this file in a browser shows you what the documentation in /usr/lib/openoffice/sdk/docs/common/ref should look like. First of all Eclipse complains that the index.html is missing. Most IDEs come along with tools creating the Javadoc automatically. You might ask the ones creating the /usr/lib/openoffice/sdk/docs/java/ref/ Javadoc, how they created it and how you can adopt the technique. I hope this helps. This method takes 4 arguments. The second is the "media-type of package, empty string if to be detected". If I pass "null" for the second argument, the package is installed without failures. But I cannot use my implemented protocol handler! If I pass just an empty String (""), the package is also installed (again, no failures while installing) and my protocol handler works. Solutions are: 1. Passing "null" should throw an exception and not install the extension 2. Passing "null" should have the same result as passing an empty string I prefer solution 2, although I think this argument is not necessary at all, because of the auto detection of the package type. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This code snippet (http://codesnippets.services.openoffice.org/Office/Office.PrintOnDifferentTrays.snip) shows how I do this with a XTextDocument. Very close to this code, I want to do following for a presentation document: -%<- // Get the Presentation document XPresentationSupplier xPresSupplier = (XPresentationSupplier) UnoRuntime.queryInterface(XPresentationSupplier.class, xComponent); // Get the StyleFamiliesSupplier interface of the document XStyleFamiliesSupplier xSupplier = (XStyleFamiliesSupplier) UnoRuntime.queryInterface(XStyleFamiliesSupplier.class, xPresSupplier); // Getting the page style name XPresentation xPresentation = xPresSupplier.getPresentation(); XPropertySet xPropSet = (XPropertySet) UnoRuntime.queryInterface(XPropertySet.class, xPresentation); // TODO: Such a property name as needed does not exist... String pageStyleName = xPropSet.getPropertyValue("PageStyleName").toString(); ...continue... -%<- Please see the TODO line. My suggestion is to implement a XPropertySet named "PageStyleName".
