That's a very interesting document, packed with very useful 
informations. Probably something changed in the meantime, but it's worth

I would start by only dumping selected DLEs or even a single one:

amdump config somehost /directory

This should get your runs into balance step by step (run the biggest 
ones separate at first, later runs might work with full set of DLEs).
