Re: [android-developers] battery status check

2011-06-28 Thread Mystic Prowler
Juts asking, why is that when Android phones are charging or discharging, it
shows in 10% intervals and below 20% it goes down to 5% intervals. Can it be
changed to 1% intervals for more accuracy?

Well, i have a Motorola Droid X running 2.3.3, and it does that no matter
what OS it has. Is there a way to change it a hack?

That is up to the device manufacturer. Some devices report 1%
intervals all along. Others -- notably some Motorola devices -- behave
 has you describe.

[android-developers] 2.3 gingerbread reboots and incompatability

2011-06-06 Thread Mystic Prowler
I have found to see that 2.3 Gingerbread is not all that razz that I thought
it would be. I used genesis plus to play some games, ones that would work
on 2.2 would exit out automatically on 2.3. I also use an app that mirrors
my droid X display using Xternal Display, and that keeps stalling at
loading... please wait on 2.3. I though maybe 2.3 was bad, but it kept
following to even my current 2.3.3 update. What is going on here? It's
faster, but can't run the programs I want and it reboots by accident? I am
dissatisfied. 2.2 was slower but better.

The Android market is more known than the Amazon AppStore, maybe it's
because of that,

Re: [android-developers] Re: Amazon AppStore, are you earning something from there?

2011-06-04 Thread Mystic Prowler
That's one of the reasons why I switched from Att to Verizon.

Android Market coming pre-installed on most devices, Amazon's app having to
be manually installed, and sideloading disabled on ATT devices are also
 major factors.

2011-06-04 Thread Mystic Prowler
Apps Can do that? I am quite concerned about that. Why would there even be
an app that does that?

Obviously, if you load and run a 3rd-party app that manages to
get some authority on the system and trashes it, you're on your
 own

[android-developers] Text input stuck in one position

2011-06-03 Thread Mystic Prowler
I am running Android 2.3.3 on my Droid X and I have noticed that whenever I
input text it would keep going whenever I input text without adjusting the
screen/page to see the text below.

For example, I have an App on here called Slide notes. Whenever I enter
text, and hit enter, the blinking cursor or line goes down but under the
keyboard to the point where I cannot see what I am typing. This applies to
the standard and swype keyboard as well, and happens in all applications.

Any help would be a appreciated.
