as you seen that, i want to change the color of the child record, means

how can i do this ??

b'cos as far as my knowledge is concern we have to set textview style @ the

this is my code

file)

: This group is odd);

String();
for (int j = 0; j  3; j++)
{

children.add(curChildMap);
curChildMap.put(CHILDNAME, Child Name + j);
curChildMap.put(TOTALVISIT, Child Total Visit + j);
curChildMap.put(STATUS, Child Status  + j);
curChildMap.put(REMAININGVISIT, Child Remaining Visit  +
j);
}
childData.add(children);
}

mAdapter = new SimpleExpandableListAdapter(
this,
groupData, R.layout.head,
new String[] { NAME },
new int[] { R.id.headrow },
childData,
R.layout.new_child,
new String[] { CHILDNAME, TOTALVISIT, STATUS,
REMAININGVISIT },
new int[] { R.id.child_name, R.id.child_totalVisit,
R.id.child_status, R.id.child_remainingVisit } );

setListAdapter(mAdapter);
}
 @Override
public void onBackPressed()
{
Log.d(Emp,TaskLog);
finish();
}
}

[android-developers] Re: how to know LAC(Local Area Code) using Cell ID and Mobile Number

2012-09-17 Thread Rajan
first of all thank you for replay,

but my question is i want to get current location of my friend's mobile
without notify him/her.

for example, i create one app, which accept *Cell ID Mobile Number of my
friend, *after accepting this value i am able to get the current location
(accuracy is not needed, i just want area name/code) of my friend without
notify him.

Any other alternative idea is also acceptable.
i want range specified by user.
It is not necessary to use only only this customized control, you can
also able to use other control to get the range.

Re: [android-developers] stuck in custom control

2012-08-31 Thread Rajan
Yes you can use it try this :
EditText editText;
editText = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.editText);
editText.addTextChangedListener(this);

so you get

@Override
public void afterTextChanged(Editable s)
{
}
@Override
public void beforeTextChanged(CharSequence s, int start, int count, int
after)
{
}
   @Override
public void onTextChanged(CharSequence s, int start, int before, int count)
{
}

 Use the GPS provider and wait patiently for it to find the user's
 location, handling the cases when it takes a long time or fails completely.

Re: [android-developers] How to get every time new/refreshed Current Location

2012-08-23 Thread Rajan Thakrar
first of all you have to find latitude and longitude for both the cities:
--
Example :
--

City1

latitude  : 24.2525697
longitude : 89.9240492

City2

latitude : 24.6081436
longitude : 90.0250385

ok , then according to math formula you can able to find distance between
two cities.

For Math formula Plz refer this url :
http://www.movable-type.co.uk/scripts/latlong.html

And ya you can also find latitude longitude for any particular city
through Google query string.

[android-developers] How to get every time new/refreshed Current Location

2012-08-22 Thread Rajan
Hi,

i want to find the user's current location through GPS only.

but, my problem is : i don't want to use getLastKnownLocation() method.

b'cos some times when i am not able to get the current location at that
time it will gives me a previous location detail, that is not acceptable
for my app.

that is why, i want accurate refreshed location detail every time (means,
@ App start time, @ App resume time, @ restart time etc.)

how it is possible?

is it enough to achive my goal. ???

[android-developers] get 1km lat. long. according to user's direction

2012-07-10 Thread Rajan
i want to get the user direction, and when i press the Get Direction
button at that time i want

1. user's direction
2. user's current location (latitude longitude)
3. 1km (latitude longitude) from the user's location but it must have to
go, according to the direction (the user stand at whatever direction)

so, my problem is the 3rd requirement,

how can i find the specific lat. long. of 1km long according to user's
direction path.

 and require no contract? Any advice on that?

 Thanks

[android-developers] Android Development in Scheme

2010-10-28 Thread Santosh Rajan
For those interested in developing android apps in the Scheme
language, I have posted a tutorial with two examples. It uses the same
Kawa Scheme Language used by App Inventor behind the scenes.
1) A basic Button event handler.
2) A more intricate Text to Speech app.
Here is the link.
