I am working on Android app in which has an option to connect with BBM
contact(PIN). Is there any API is available for achieve this. How we can do

How to detect if an outgoing call has been answered. i have gone through
several docs and i dint find any correct solution.

[android-developers] video steaming in android

Dear All

In my Android app i am  playing video from a remote server, for that i use
video view with the video url. The problem is the video uploaded from my
phone to server is not playing in the device. from the server side they are
converting and stored into mp4 format. To stream a video from url need any
coding in android side?
if the server need to add any streaming functions in php(server side) ?
please anyone help

[android-developers] site hangs when the app runs

Dear all,

In my app uses remote database to get the values to the mobile . in  my
database(site1 ) contain more than 2 lakh users. when i start my app in
mobile the cpu usage of the remote site reaches above 100% and finally the
site hangs  and stop the app. in my app i am using gps location and number
of http requests. if any suggest me that what is the reason behind this

but running the same app of iphone does not cause the cpu usage . is it an
error of api ?

we have used  select query to get the data from server and we have
optimized the query. if it like OIN between two humongous tables will
defenitly cause an issue in iphone ?

[android-developers] focus the last element of scroll view

i  created a scroll view in xml.. i set the height of the scroll view as
wrap content  ...and i add one linear layout to this scroll
view programmaticaly
what is my issue is when we add more content to the linear layout  i want
to focus the last element in the scroll view ?

procedure to decoding .apk files---step wise method--

step 1:

make a new folder and put .apk file (which you want to decode) now rename
this .apk file with
extension .zip (eg:rename from filename.apk to filename.apk.zip) and save
it..now you get
classes.dex files etc...at this stage you are able to see drawable but not
xml and java file...
so cont...

step 2:

now extract this zip apk file in the same folder(in this eg or case NEW
FOLDER). now dowmload
dex2jar from this link http://code.google.com/p/dex2jar/ and extract it to
the same folder
(in this case NEW FOLDER).now open command prompt and reach to that
folder (in this case
NEW FOLDER)after reaching write dex2jar classes.dex and press
enter.now you get
classes.dex.dex2jar file in the same folder..now download java
decompiler from
http://java.decompiler.free.fr/?q=jdgui and now double click on jd-gui and
click on open
 file then open classes.dex.dex2jar file from that folder...now you get
class file...save all
 these class file (click on file then click save all sources in
jd-gui)..by src nameat
this stage you get source...but xml files are still unreadable...so cont...

step 3:
=


now open another new folder and put these files

put .apk file which you want to decode

download apktool using google and put in the same folder

download framework-res.apk file using google and put in the same folder

Open a command window

Navigate to the root directory of APKtool and type the following
command:

apktoolif framework-res.apk

apktool d fname.apk (fname denotes filename which you want to
decode)

now you get a file folder in that folder and now you can easily read xml
files also.

step 4:
=


it's not any step just copy contents of both folder(in this case both new
folder)to the single one

and now enjoy wid source code...

I am developing an app in android 2.2 , i want  to support my app in all
resolutions (ldpi,mdpi,hdpi,xhdpi)

so i created 4 folders in res folder (layout-ldpi ,layout-mdpi ,layout-hdpi
,layout-xhdpi)

then i given supported screens android manifest as

supports-screens   android:largeScreens=true android:normalScreens=true

 android:smallScreens=true android:anyDensity=true
android:resizeable=true android:xlargeScreens=true
 /supports-screens

it returns an error that

No resource identifier found for attribute 'xlargeScreens' in package

i am implement listview and each view *(or row).*
having editlist box.

problem when i trying to get data from all editboxes its takes only first
screen view.(*means getting the value from the first row only  ie index=0*)
here show only 5 views. when scrolling* g=i* get the problem.
please help me?

but not in the running phase

the problem is the background color of the image button i used
