The organization I am currently working is migrating from Microsoft share point to Google+. As a first step the migrated the mail client from outlook to gmail with there domain login. Here my doubt is, Suppose if I add my google enterprise credentials to my android phone. How I can enable single sign on to the apps associated with the organization. Like I I configure the google account in my phone, I can open Gmail, Google Drive, Google + etc. Something similar I need to implement using my enterprise credentials. Re: [android-developers] App Android Development
Hi Guys, My view is something different, and since 10 yrs I'm implementing within my team. Hope this may help you, if you have basic understanding of Java, OOPS, Classes, and little bit programming exp then, follow below steps - 1.think about small small example or idea like, student registration system, data entry or something like that 2. install & open ur studio 3. search how to create project in Studio, and follow the steps - 5-10 times 4. 4-5 times go thr each and every file and try to understanding, which files called from where 5. search how to build, run application 6. do little bit changes in strings, header part (default string apps), build and run it, this will give u where to make changes 7. search how to design form in android (if ur idea is student registration) 8. search button click function, on click start with alret show, then capture value and show in alert 9. then try to store in sqlite - search and do it - repeat 4-5 times 10. then try to view (search how to access data from db This is most effective way to learn anything, on the job training (called it) Regards, Rakesh On Sat, Apr 2, 2016 at 2:43 AM, Steve Gabrilowitz wrote: > If you have experience programming on a different platform then one way to > learn is to just dive in - install Android Studio and play with some of the > demo programs and try reading the code. [android-developers] onCharacteristicRead in Bluetooth Low energy Return null
Hello, We are facing one issue when reading characteristics from remote BLE device. This issue happen in Android OS 5.0 and above. Points are below to generate issue : 1> Make one peripheral device with one service and one characteristics. 2> Characteristics will have only read permission. Now set the value of this characteristics with more than 20 characters i.e. 20 bytes. 3> Now let peripheral device broadcast itself with one service and one characteristics. 4> Now launch any BLE scanner app from market and connect with this peripheral device. 5> Once successfully connected with peripheral device just try to read characteristics. 6> In this case it will not show any data and when debugging the app it show that it returns null data. 7> The above same case not working in the Android OS 5.0 and above. 8> Same case working in android 4.4. So there is something change in Android OS 5.0 and above that internally disable readblob() request that can read data having more that 20 characters. We are seeking some help to solve this issue. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group. [android-developers] why we need to develop android app when iphone app runs on android
hi guys, iam into mobile games development. i am trying to develop games for android, i did a lot of hard work and finally i was able to develop a game for android. Then i noticed all my company games which r developed for iphone(web based) are working fyn on android. so there is no meaning to put extra effort for making android app separately. but i dont wish to go my hard work in vain. There is a meeting regarding this in which i have to prove its worth developing games for android separately. do anybody has any answers for this? -- rakesh rapaka -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group. [android-developers] Access: telephony.gsm.SimCard etc.
Hello, I am trying to get access of following packages, import com.android.internal.telephony.IccUtils; import com.android.internal.telephony.CommandsInterface; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.EncodeException; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.GsmAlphabet; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SimCard; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SIMFileHandler; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.SIMRecords; import com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.stk.Duration.TimeUnit; I have tried to build SDK (1.6) myself thinking that these android internal packages will be available so that i can make use of these to write some STK related test cases. But they are not accessible. Is there any way out or workaround for accessing android internal packages? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
