Dear Chris: I have 2 partitions(vfat and ext3) in my SD card, because I use this partition to put Koolu Beta 7 Release to flash, and it works well Regard, Alan 2009/8/17 Chris Samuel ch...@csamuel.org On Mon, 17 Aug 2009 03:24:45 pm bluestar8783 wrote: I tried to download the latest version:uImage-v24.bin and freerunner-cupcake-snapshot-v15.jffs2 to flash, but it failed. I would still strongly suggest you back up everything on that SD card and then repartition and reformat with those instructions as I hit the same error as you (naively thinking that the Koolu install had done it for me) and couldn't get it to work until I'd done so. I second this. You need to cleanup partitions after Koolu before installing Michael's images or it simply will hang on boot like you've seen already. -- Alex ___ android-freerunner mailing list android-freerunner@android.koolu.org http://android.koolu.org/listinfo.cgi/android-freerunner-koolu.org

Hi, Alex: I tried to download the latest version:uImage-v24.bin and freerunner-cupcake-snapshot-v15.jffs2 to flash, but it failed. It shows below message and hang on. And how to flash good version Try Michael Trimarchi's images from http://panicking.kick-ass.org/download/ Get the latest cupcake snapshot jffs2 + latest uImage-v*.bin, then flash with usual dfu-util command. You might also need to reflash Qi with latest version from official site (check out wiki.openmoko.org) to make it boot.
