DSO Filter Dynamics
All, We are using version 7.1 server. I have a custom form and am trying to DSO to multiple servers. I have a Filter on the form that pulls in the mapping and To Server and then runs the Distributed Transfer. I have created a loop that will run the Filter for each server that I have specified in the field. I can echo out the server names and see that the Filter does identify each server correctly. When the filter is run I notice that the same record is created in the Distributed Pending form 2's.. For example, I have 2 servers, Server1 Server2. The Filter loops and pulls in Server1 mapping and sets the To Server: Server1, the 2nd time around it pulls in Server2's mapping and should set the To Server to Server 2.. I want to make the Filter DSO dynamic. I even tried to perform a Push fields into the Distributed Pending form and the record just sits in the form and never sends. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Regards, Bala ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor:rmisoluti...@verizon.net ARSlist: Where the Answers Are
Setting up Distributed Server Option
Hello List, I am setting up DSO to distribute between 4 servers. The requirement is to pass ownership between servers. Can anyone recommend the best method for setting up the chained transfers? Is it better to actually set up a chain which can potentially cause looping issues or is it better to send copies to remote servers and send Ownership to the selected server. For example, If I want to send a copy to all servers and send ownership to server 4, then which would be a better recommended way to perform this? Also what is the best way to keep track of the servers? If I have a field that sends it to server 4, then how do you typically keep track of each server? Instead, it submits a request into the SRM subsystem, which in turn creates a record via HPD:InterfaceCreate form (or something like that). The first place to start to diagnose any issues between RQC HPD/CHG is to take a look in the SRM:Request form; find the request that you entered from the RQC, on one of the tabs there will be the option to view any errors; open up that dialog box you'll see what if any errors have occurred. Re: Email Engine stops sending Emails
Hi, Has anyone experienced the email engine being able to receive inbound emails, but not process outbound emails? Outbound emails are sitting in the AR System Email Messages form without any errors. The AREmail process is up and running and outbound emails just stop being sent out at random times. The only way to fix the issue is to restart the email engine. I don't see any errors in the debug logs and am trying to come up with a way to troubleshoot this. * Environment ARS Server Patch24 Email Engine Patch 24 OS: Solaris 9 Oracle 10 Java version: 1.4.2_13 Outbound Emails: smtp * Thanks, Bala Patel Independent Consultant ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: www.rmsportal.com ARSlist: Where the Answers Are
Re: Email Engine stops sending Emails
Hi, Yes, I see that it lost connection to the smtp sever. I would think that if the email engine would have an issue with connecting then it would try again per the polling setting.
