Hi Ravi - Can you please let me know the version of ARS and ITSM where you are facing this issue.. for one of our customer we are facing the same issue, there is one issue SRM form indexing that we have identified causing sql select queries to take longer time and was causing locks.. Is the CPU od DB spiking to 100%? We are still working on it and BMC has also suggeasted to use No Lock Parameter.. but customer is yet to implemente the same.. AD Account Lock-OUT via Remedy
I am looking for any ideas on how to implement/set up account lockup for multiple unsuccessful login failures. We are on version ARS 7.604 SP2 Examples: In Active directory when user tries to enter inalid passowrd for the number of times specified on AD side ,then system will lock user account automatically. In our remedy is AD authenticated, user can enter 10 times invalid passwords ( login unsuccessful) still 11th time user can enter the right passowrd and system will allow user to login successfully. How do we lockout the user for unsuccessful logins ( 4 timmes may be).Any suggestions.. Hi David - Our AD gets lock out after three wrong attempts and gets restrored automatically after 30 minutes.. If use Remedy AR server setting for Password attempts, it locks account in remedy not in AD. Then somebody needs to go into remedy and enable it. Your inputs? What requests does the Needs Attention view display in SRM 7.6.04.? The SRM User guide states the following: Click the Needs Attention link to view any requests that require your immediate attention, for example, requests that require your approval. Also I've read that the Needs Attention table should display requests where the fulfillment ticket is put into pending awaiting the customer to provide an update. However, when this Assignment script is used on an Incident to create work-info, the attachment which was added in script configuration does not get added on WorkInfo as an attachment. All, I created a Navigation Panel in R 7.5 and wrote a AL to fire on one of its menu item. But on user/web tool, it is not firing. There is no run if qualification so no question of failure. Finding LArgest free block in a table grid
Dear friends, I am representing racks of book shelf as a table grid in Remedy. Each grid/record is a single unit.some units are ocuupied and some are free. I need to find out the largest available/free block in that Grid.
