Re: Field 112 and ARS 6.3, how does it work?

2009-10-24 Thread Mike Horist
Go to the admin tool, then server information for the specific server. Go to
the configuration tab, there's an option Enable Multiple Assign Groups

That needs to be checked, then it should work no problem (I use this quite
often at my present employer and we are running 6.3 as well)

Is there any way to include multiple groups on field 112 to restrict access to
entries on a system with ARS 6.3? I know 7.0 allowed you to put multiple
groups in but I have tried with 6.3 without much success.

Thanks.

Re: Field 112 and ARS 6.3, how does it work?

2009-10-02 Thread Sabyson Fernandes
Alexander,

You need to make sure that the Enable Multiple Assign Groups option is
selected in the Server Configuration. For 7.x, you can do this via the AR
System Administration console - General - Server Information - Configuration
tab.

For 6.3, you would have to do the same from the Admin tools. File - Server
Information.

If you do not have this enabled, you cannot set multiple assign groups in this
field.

Alexander,

I am pretty sure 112 was enabled for multiple groups since 5.1.2.

Have you entered set the groups in the same format that they would set if
you selected them from the menu?

2009-09-30 Thread Misi Mladoniczky
Hi,

You have to set Multipl-Assign-Groups: T in your ar.cfg. The default value
should actually be T in ar.cfg for 6.3...

It may also be important how you concatenate your groups, if you do it
with workflow.

The best way is to open the field 112 and use the menu to add two group
and then save it. Look att the SQL-log to see the data which is stored in
the DB. For example ;111222;111333;. I do not remember if it has a
leading ; (semicolon), or if it has a space in between the ; and the next
groupid.
