Re: Can you see who is running reports?
Thanks for the replies guys. This does not happen too often (once every few months) but on this occasion it was twice in the same day. Unfortunately turning on the logs was not an option as the hammering was finished by the time I was made aware. But I will have a look at the forms mentioned to see if I can identify the root. FYI - We are on 8.1 currently but moving to 9.1 soon. It was a long shot but I was hoping there was an audit form that recorded reports/searches in an easy way. Re: Can you see who is running reports?
If your on v9.x. you can enable the Exeption Logging, and/or you can use the the Always on Logging to dump the logs to file. Those method may give you a clue. -- J 2017-01-26 22:27 GMT+01:00 theReel: > Hi Guys, > > We had a few blips in performance today and I suspect that someone was > running a 'bad' report from within Remedy. Re: Can you see who is running reports?
Hi, Or you can just turn on API-logging. This will not show you which report is bogging down the system directly, but it will show which users that do. Unfortunately this needs to be turned on in advance... Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr.se (http://www.rrr.se) (ARSList MVP 2011) Ask the Remedy Licensing Experts (Best R.O.I. I might look at UserSearchPreferences. This shows you queries that have been created and if BIRT, you can use the JobQueue form?
