[asterisk-users] Phone selective variable setting?
Hi Forum, nbsp; While integrating a Nokia E61i cell phone into my Asterisk installation, I have encountered an issue that I have pin-pointed to the phone's SIP protocol. nbsp; Upon the arrival of an incoming call, the dialplan set the variable CALLERID(name) to the caller's name, then it dials a bunch of telephones (Nokia is one amongst them) with one unique DIAL command. nbsp; While the three phones behave correctly by ringing, the E61i replies with a nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; [Got SIP response 400 Bad Request back from..] error message, then Asterisk notifies that SIP/5123-cb06 is circuit-busy. nbsp; I've raised the issue with Nokia, but in the meantime I'm looking for a workaround in the dialplan that will allow me to dial all phones, setting the CALLERID(name) variable for those phones that behave themselves while not setting it for Nokia's. nbsp; Is there a way to do that? How? Other options? nbsp; Thanks for your help, nbsp; nbsp; Costa nbsp; ___ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[asterisk-users] TDM400P and Junghanns QuadBRI issue
Hi List, I'm setting up a system with one TDM400P (2*FXO + 2 * FXS) and one Junghanns QuadBRI on a Fedora Core 6 (Kernel 2.6.20-1.2944.fc6). I'm using the bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e kit. RE: [asterisk-users] TDM400P and Junghanns QuadBRI issue
The solution to this issue is to edit /etc/sysconfig/zaptel and add the following line: MODULES=$MODULES qozap# BRISTUFF driver Costa Henk Dick [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);} I would check: Cat /proc/zaptel/ To make shure that the cards are activated in the order that you programmed them. Re: [Asterisk-Users] Asterisk 1.2.7.1 and SIP registration
I haven't seen any other posting about this. Is that right, am I the only one observing a limitation in number of SIP registration? Can you guys using 1.2.7.1 please confirm or deny whether you are experiencing the same? Thanks, CostaBackup e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:I was using Asterisk 1.2.4 since it came outthen, due to a disk crash, I had to install everything from scratch. Whenever I try to register my Asterisk box with three or moreproviders, no one of the [register = user:secret@domain] statementleads to a succesful registration even waiting a long time.Any combination of two providers registration works, thus it seems to me thatis notsomething linked to the provider itself. The problem does not appear with IAX since I manage to register with atleast three other boxes over IAX. Evidently there is something weird with my installation but I can not find out what and even lookingat this forum did not produce any helpful result. Has anybody seen this behaviour before? Is there a test that I can perform that will help me find out what is creating the issue? Thanks for your help, Costa.Yahoo! Messenger with Voice.
