[asterisk-users] Yealink SIP-T22P Auto Provisioning via HTTP ?
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi List, I have come across the above handset a few times in the UK, They are quite cheap over here (~£80) Not the best handset in the world but works well enough. I have been asked to setup a central config server for a large collection of these handsets. I know they can do Auto provisioning via FTP/HTTP/TFTP I have got an example of the generic Firmware .cfg file that allows you to upgrade all handsets firmwares, All of the SIP-T22P handsets look for a file called y0005.cfg @ the URL configured on the device. This was easy to find an example of the file. via the Docs on the Yealink site and Google. The issue is that I have not been able to find an example of the per handset .cfg file... Like the Cisco handsets the file should be named after the MAC address of the handset, and should be in the same location as the y0005.cfg file, I just cant find any examples... [asterisk-users] Need some help with a very simple Queestion..
Hi List, Just a simple question for the list this time.. I need to setup 2 Phones than can Both ring when an incoming call is made to a certain number... I have done this 3,000,000s times with CCM and have no problems with it, But it is the 1st time I have needed to do this with Asterisk. I think it can be done using Queues/Agents but I'm just unsure how do it.. The setup in question is a very small 5 Phones System based on SME 7.1 SAIL (Asterisk web interface) I have a small Sandbox setup here with me to test the test before I need to go set it up on the live system. My test phone is a Grandstream GXP 2000 but I will be using SPA-941's in the Live Environment Any help with this simple question would be great. I need to setup 2 Phones than can Both ring when an incoming call is made to a certain number... Right.. After a little clicking around and getting a fresh pair of eyes to help me look-over the web interface of SAIL, I found a way of doing what I wanted by adding an Alias and making all inbound calls ring the alias. [asterisk-users] A question about an install i have been asked about...
Hi List... Lets say I have been asked to do an Asterisk/Trixbox install for an environment where 2 companies 'live' in the same... building... Both companies have 2 incoming Analogue BT Lines and then have good old BT Phones plugged into them.. I have been asked to setup a VoIP system for one of the companies and the other company has showed an interest, There is one central Server Room/Cabinet will all of the shared services (www, file server, etc, etc...) and I thought of going down the lies of installing one more Dedicated * Box into this cabinet with would service both companies... My 1st questions are as follows 1.) can one * box host both separate phone setups and handle them as separate setups.. (I.e. user in company A can not dial and internal line to user in company B) 2.) can I use a Single 4 FXO port card and reserve 2 ports for one company and the other 2 ports for the other company? This would also need to work for outgoing calls, all calls made by company 1 MUST go over the 2 lines that belong to company 1 and of course the same for company 2... 3.) How easy is this setup ? or should I just make up 2 different * Boxes, 1 for each company ? I hope someone could shed some light on this for me and give me some idea's.. Maybe even point me in the direction of some HOWTOs on making a 'Hosted * Server' type setup. Re: [Asterisk-Users] Receptionist
Hi Colin/List Snip 1. Assign DID to user 2. Instruct user to tell everyone that the DID number is the *only* number that they can get ahold of them, so callers *always* call the DID 3. If the user does not pick up, an IVR menu kicks in asking them to press 1 to try the user on their cell or 2 for voicemail 4. Callers to the main number get an IVR menu asking 1 for sales 2 for whatever...and press 0 to go to the receptionist. 5. Transfer procedure for receptionist: Xfer key Internal extension OK. If the guy is on the phone, the IVR menu kicks in. 6. Receptionist has FOP on her screen for extension state /Snip I would love to see the conf files for this kind of setup...
