[asterisk-users] libpri and zaptel to disable early B3
Hi, I am using Asterisk 1.2.14 with zaptel 1.2.12 and libpri 1.2.4. When we make a call to an unallocated number, the phone company will play a recording saying it is unallocated and then send us the PRI cause 1. Is there any way to disable the recording and have the phone company send us the cause code immediately upon determining that the number is unallocated? Thanks in advance. [asterisk-users] splitting a PRI using TDMoE
Hi, I have an application where we need to route several channels of a PRI going into the Digium TE110P card on one Asterisk server to another Asterisk server. I am thinking that this might be possible by using TDMoE and somehow bridge the corresponding channels from the Zap channels of the TE110P to the Zap channels of the TDMoE. One requirement is that the secondary server should be able to receive all the PRI signals about the channels that is being routed over like busy, connect, etc. Is this possible? I cannot find any documentation or mentioning about this from the config files of the zaptel drivers. Thanks. [asterisk-users] Digium B410P
Hi, I am trying to decide which BRI card to buy and am looking at the B410P. I have the following questions and hope that you guys can give me some advice. 1) Anyone uses the B410P with Asterisk with good or bad comment? And how does the B410P compared to the others like the AVM or the Beronet. 2) I think the B410P is using the mISDN driver. I also read that the mISDN driver will have problem with SMP kernel, so if I want to use the B410P, I should not get any duo core CPU with the computer, right? Also, if this is true, maybe I will be better off with a card that uses the CAPI driver like the AVM? 3) The installation guide on digium http://kb.digium.com/entry/55/131/ says that I need at least Linux kernel 2.6.15. Does this mean that CentOS 4.4 is not compatible with it? Thanks in advance!! [asterisk-users] Need help choosing cards that support detail Hangup Cause
Hi, I am trying to decide on which card to buy for a project where we need to be able to log the reasons for failed calls. For example, if the number dialed is not valid anymore, like the client has changed phone number and decommissioned the old number, we need Asterisk to return a cause of AST_CAUSE_UNALLOCATED. Do we need to go T1/E1 (like the TE110P), BRI (like the B410P) or will analog cards like the TDM2400 with FXO ports be able to do it? Thanks in advance. How about T1? or BRI? I think BRI is just a single channel version of PRI, right? Thanks. A PRI will give you the cause. On 11/4/06, King Ho [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi, I am trying to decide on which card to buy for a project where we need to be able to log the reasons for failed calls.
