[Asterisk-Users] iax busy / unavailable - not registered

2004-11-21 Thread Tomaz

i need some suggestion how to indicate caller that calling number is
unavailable if some iax user is not registered:

this is what I got in asterisk console:
app_dial.c:727 dial_exec: Unable to create channel of type 'IAX2'
== Everyone is busy/congested at this time
why is send to busy congested but user is just unavailable !?

Re: [Asterisk-Users] bristuff - hfc card + x100p

2004-07-11 Thread Tomaz
hi,
yes this is ok .. when you have dial,Zap/g1 this problem is solved,
becouse you have many channels in some group.
But my problem is on x100p card so only one channel and is not busy with
nothing and i can't dial out .. even if i ring line connected to x100p
asterisk does not report anything (debug console).
anyone has same problem?

one question more ... what mean this status RED ?
less /proc/zaptel/3
Span 3: WCFXO/0 Wildcard X101P Board 1 RED
br,
Tomaz

Junaid Saeed Uppal wrote:
I got the everyone's busy at this moment too , I have one hfc isdn
card and one x100p , it was because of me using one channel of my isdn
for internet , so i just switched to second channel and it dialed out
fine , you need to edit this in extensions.conf for outgoing dial out.
You can also solved it in this way , i.e. if first channel is busy ,
use second.

I had the saem trouble, so I just took my x100p card out

I know its not the ultimate solution, but I decided to use
an ATA with my analgue phone instead.
I would suggest trying to put the analogue lines as channel
7 and the isdn lines as channels 1-6
Good luck

[Asterisk-Users] outgoing caller id from SIP to isdn (p2p)

[Asterisk-Users] isdn to sip callerID pass

2004-07-06 Thread Tomaz
hi,
I have a problem with passing caller id information from telco (isdn) to
sip client (grandstream).
i see callerid in asterisk verbose console but on grandstream (sip)
phone is just internal (own-gs) 101 number.
Isdn line is connected with hfc card and p2p , asterisk is latest CVS in
extensions.conf i have:

exten = 2442242,1,Dial,SIP/101,r|T
and in console is this:
-- Executing Dial(Zap/1-1, SIP/101) in new stack
   -- Called 101
   -- Accepting call from '4482333' to '2442242' on channel 1, span 1
   -- SIP/101-b1e2 is ringing
   -- Channel 1, span 1 got hangup
and number on GS sip phone must be 4482333 but is only 101 !
maybe i missed something?
thank you,
Tomaz

And I did not get P2P+DID working even with active AVM card. The chan_capi

Now I'm at zaphfc, that works the best.

So, to make things simple: If you want P2P+DID (Anlagenanschluss), you
won't go for AVM cards to save nerves (and money, the active cards are
not cheap). Go for zaphfc.

Just one thing ... for zaphfc .. what version of kernel is best option

You need to apply two patches:

1) Turns off DTMF detection in the linux kernel (i4l side)
2) Enables DTMF detection on the chan_modem driver.
You can find more information at

The kernel is detecting DTMF tones from your voice :)

I applied this yesterday and it is working great (kernel 2.4.22 and

[Asterisk-Users] dtmf detection on modem-ISDN

2003-10-27 Thread Tomaz Izanc
hello!

How to turn off DTMF detection on modem (isdn) on active channel (when
the channel is open )?
Problem is that dtmf is detected when someone on (ISDN) telco side
speak then dtmf tones are send to from asterisk to internal line (x100p) .

tnx.

[Asterisk-Users] incomplete address response SIP 484

2003-09-09 Thread Tomaz Izanc
hello!

Is maybe anyway that asterisk supports this incomplete address
response SIP 484 (early dial) ?

I think it would be nice feature for dial with hard sip phones .. now
must wait with all sip phones ~ 4 seconds or press # ,
but when your dial frequency is high is this somehow disturbing.

Buy some Digium boards. They will serve you much better and are easier.

[Asterisk-Users] callerid

2003-03-03 Thread Tomaz Izanc
In general you can match callerID with the /, but if you don't put
anything after the /, then the rule matches no caller*ID, and if no
slash is there at all, it matches any callerid.

Ok.My question is -

how to match callerid from 001... ?
and if don't know how many numbers ?
exten = s/0_,Answer   don't work-
anything else ?
tnx
Thomas
