If memory serves correctly, there was a problem using an fxo module on port 1 that was diagnosed roughly thirty days after the initial tdm card was released. Seems to me that someone indicated it was a design problem with the card (apparently missing one circuit board trace or something like that), and that digium was replacing the cards for those that had the problem. The replacement tdm card had an extra wire jumper installed on it. The short-term fix (back then) was to move the fxo module to another position (if possible). Support should know all about that. No answer, no lines available for oubound dial, and only a reboot of the machine will bring it back. Any ideas to try? Greetings, I also suffer this problem, though slightly different. When it strikes the 2nd FXS module (in slot 3) goes mostly dead, I say mostly because it still recives rings but seems unable to go off hook. The phones plugged in to that jack ring, but when you pick them up it doesn't answer and the speaker pulses with the ring. If you pick up and try to dial you don't get a dial tone either. Both the 1st FXS and the FXO work relatively close to normal, the exception being worse then normal echo. This seems to take acouple weeks to happen and when it does I usually can just unload the modules, load 'em up and restart asterisk and all works again. If so, make sure you didn't get caught by bug #2218. wcfxs had an error introduced this week, which is now resolved in HEAD. It's possible, although I did try using zaptel sources from another server of mine that was a couple weeks out of date and it didn't seem to help. But I will try again tonight when I get home; I plan to test it on another machine first just to make sure my motherboard or power supply hasn't gone insane. I'd suggest slapping the TDM400P in an Apple ][ GS and trying the new Zaptel Drivers for METAL. ;) -- Vice President of N2Net, a New Age Consulting Service, Inc.
