2010-06-17 Thread Aksel Celasun
Hello!

Does anybody know why i get the following error in CLI regarding the timeout
option, when I dial sip ext 501?
I get the message playing in the background, but the cli output confuses me.
Running asterisk 1.6 on centos.

Where is there an error message in the above?

app_directed_pickup.so is just saying some other version of pickup is

Need much more information.

Hello,

Maybe it is too late but it may help you.
Check the configuration for the SIP client identified by 192.168.0.123
(or the IP mentioned by the error line)because it tries to subscribe
to get BLF indications for the X extension. Most probably it is for
an old phone BLF configuration.

Re: [Asterisk-Users] Error message

2005-07-28 Thread Giorgio Incantalupo

Hi,
I had the same problem when I had an inbound call WITHOUT callerid and I
had not any line in my extensions.conf starting with s so Asterisk
couldn't make a match.

This was my inbound context:

[inbound_menu]
exten = _X.,1,DigitTimeout(2)
exten = _X.,2,NoOp(DS:${DIALSTATUS})
exten = _X.,3,Answer
exten = _X.,4,NoOp(DS:${DIALSTATUS})
bla...

if a call without callerid arrives, my asterisk cannot match it and
complains

You need something like:
exten = s,1,...

Hi,

 I have set up [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Digium TDM400P 2FXO/2FXS.
 I am unable to seize my trunks from either soft or analog phones.

 Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
 I'd really appreciate some help on this.

I don't think that's asterisk related at all. Check /etc/inittab to see what
's0' is. My guess is it's a serial port that you have connected to something
proprietary.

If that is the case, just comment out the s0 line and 'telinit q' should
stop the messages.

2005-06-08 Thread Justin Ellison
I had this same issue - it's because AAH tries to run a getty on ttyS0,
and if you have COM1 disabled in the bios (or it doesn't exist), this
won't work. If you're getting this issue, edit /etc/inittab, and
comment out the line that says:

s0:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty -i -h -L 9600 ttyS0 vt100

Then save the file, and do a 'killall -HUP init' as root - the problem
should go away.

[Asterisk-Users] Error message phone_mini_packet Read returned -1 and strange Internet PhoneCard behavior

2004-08-19 Thread Jim O'Brien
Title: Message

I have an Internet
PhoneCard for my IBM T30 running Linux RH9 2.4.20-31.9and Asterisk
0.9.0.

I have installed the
appropriate Openh323 drivers.

The card works and I
can call to an extension that plays a recorded message, hang-up, call again and
so forth.

Suddenly, the
subject error message starts appearing in the log, something goes into a loop,
everything else in the system slows to a crawl.

If I pop the card
out, the loop and the slow down disappear.

There seems to be no
relationship between actively using the card and the slow
down.

I have observer the
slowdown start minutes after the last call orthe slow downmay start
during calls or the slow may just start even if no call has been
made.

I have not noticed a
failure if asterisk is not running.

I have searched on
numerous variations of the message, driver, and asterisk with no
luck.

Any
thoughts???

 Have you changed the IP of your * box since compiling * first time?

This means that your Request is not confirmed after N tries. This could
happen for example) when your NAT is not working with your VoIP
provider. Other reasons possible (e.g. no internet connection)

Listas,

You might try down-sampling the MP3 files to 160Kb/sec, mono through
LAME or some other MP3 encoder. Prior to converting some royalty-free
music from 320Kbs joint-stereo, mpg123/asterisk would barf on the file.
Assumeably due to the original encoding (EAC under Windows/LAME).

How would * be able to play the file if it didn't exist? MP3 playing
code is touchy on more... robust MP3 files. Gavin's helpful hints:

1) Capture or down-convert to = 160Kbps data rate
2) Mono
3) Remove all ID3 tags
4) Remove extraneous information such as album art, etc.

Basically, use sox and LAME to strip the MP3 file to bare minimum.

Also, I've found that some of the auto-magic Music-on-Hold (MOH) playing
code doesn't always work, or throws exceptions/core dumps in the mohmp3
directory. I use the following bits in my extensions.conf to insure
proper playback:

exten = s,1,Answer
exten = s,2,SetMusicOnHold,random; or whatever MOH defined in
musiconhold.conf
exten = s,3,Dial ; or other commands after that

[Asterisk-Users] error message: unable to set audio mode

2003-03-25 Thread Darrell Eldridge
I just upgraded to the latest CVS and started noticing
that I'm getting error messages every time a call
hangs up:

WARNING[598031]: File chan_zap.c, Line 1879
(zt_setoption): Unable to set audio mode on channel 37

Is it something I've done... or something I need to be
concerned about?
