I agree that Anna is the worst voice. At least you could actually hear Sam. That was always a huge problem with Kitchensinc games, the fact that Annas volume is so low that you sometimes miss things that happen.Since I have no desire to upgrade to Windows 8, Ive never actually heard these new voices. Yep, Problem with the game is, it is completely in mono and it lacks of most audio like footsteps. Its scrolling but a lot of going down / up. Hi.So here I am with more questionhs, or rather an issue:Ive created an ally, but Im having issues on getting it to follow my commands.The readme says the follow me command is done by pressing f and then the up arrow, but that just activates the radar. The stay here command should be f and C, but that doesnt seem to work all the time. however, f and v seems to stop the ally most of the time. So my issue is that when the ally has been stopped, I cant get it to follow me again.An other issue is that the ally loose the track of me randomly, and when that happens, it just stays there and does nothing at all. I cant get the ally to follow me cause of the broken command. F and S doesnt work by the way.If someone who have experiences with that or if Aprone have the time to chime in, it would be very much apreciated. You can get sapi4 Mike, Mary and Sam to work on versions of Windows after XP, but the sapi5 versions are broken, because #damnyoumicrosoft (thats a real hashtag, right?).Best / Worst arent really descriptive labels. Sam does not sound very human. Anna is so frustratingly quiet and laggy that shes practically unusable. Some people consider one or the other to be a qualifier for worst Microsoft TTS. Some people do not. Some people like squeezing as much utility out of low-quality stuff as possible (*goes off to read a QBasic tutorial*). Well as is my practice I waited until chapter 41 was complete and heard it, since I tend to prefer over an hours worth of stuff each month and a complete, enclosed chapter to 25 minutes a week.[[wow]]! I agree with Guitarman on this, Datu is awsome and if he died that would be a sad thing, Datu is one of my favourite characters for lots of reasons, though as Ive said before the fact that we cant predict whether he will or not keeps the series interesting.My only concern from a story perspective is that one thing that Datu gave to the series was a main character who wasnt a military hardcase, or the rather pathetic love interest of a military hardcase. This was something that was great at the beginning, having Michael, Saul and angel as the army, with later Bert as well, but having a more general cast of fairly everyday characters as well, indeed thats one thing I loved about Datu, hes just the so
 rt of person that nobody pays attention to in real life, just the foreign man doing a meanial job, yet we realize in were alive hes got a lot more to him both in terms of his tallent with machines, and in terms of his personality. With people like Jay, maldoon and the other military guys though I just dont find myself interested. So theyre army boys who joke around and are hard and shoot things,  meh! I cant even get all their names and characters straight since they just arent people i find Im that interested in since as characters they seem so thin,  after all Michael, Angel, saul and bert all had other aspects to their characters than just being sterriotypical jar heads. This is also why I was sorry to see Glen die, since even though he wasnt a major character, he was at least someone else.I am however glad weve got the gap with randy filled in, thats an interesting plot in itself though i did 
 suspect there was more to itit, and itll make hearing that waterworks section again quite an interesting thing when I listen to everything. About Cj and power, well well see. CJ was very much at the end of the wire with the pump there, and in fairness I can see from her perspective having michael running aropund with their best weaponry being a bad idea,  all things that could be solved with a little communication, but thats not really peoples strongest point especially in stressful situations.Oh, btw, regarding the suggestion about zombification imunity and people who arent caucasian, the one problem with that theory is we know that cracks also opened in the philipeens and Japan, so if those countries were imune wed expect a difference. Im not sure what the cause of Saul and Tanyas slow turning is, but whatever it is it doesnt add up for Datu unfortunately, especially 
 since he is turning much more quickly. But did you know that there are players who have access to buildings at lower levels, that others do not have access to until they reach the top level-50.? What I mean is, lets say theres a food building that boosts your total food storage by 100, and you have to reach level 50 to purchase/obtain 
 it(3 total=300+food storage). there is one player I see for sure who has purchased those buildings at level 40. thats a serious unsporting advantage during tournaments. In fact, that player more than doubles everyones score at every tourney due to just that fact. anyway, ill try that link, THX. Regarding downloading, well you cant actually download from an rss, but if you put it into a podcatcher such as winamp or the one on Klango you can stream all episodes from the feed. Alternatively, I did download all episodes from the site myself manually, (not too bad for someone who remembers the days when you had to download game soundtracks one track at a time and each track took 15 minutes), so here are some archives for all you lazy people! . These are sendspace pro links, since even split into separate season archives they are pretty huge, (each around 700 mb), and being ss pro links they will download at whatever the normal speed for your connection is even if your not an ss member, oh, and before anyone asks, no I will not put them on dropbox.I will however ask people to not go crazy downloading them multiple times, since unlike standard send
 space links, pro links come with limited bandwidth. Admitedly that limit is 100 gb a month so its pretty huge, but still, if 60 people all downloaded these it could be irritating! . Hi. No, im not a developer, but as admin for this site Ive talked to the devs of the game about access and adding things like the ability to create descriptions for buildings and heroes and such. I also dont really know what you mean about higher level food buildings, since none of the food buildings Ive seen have been level locked the way shops are, or at least they werent. There are a good few buildings in the food tab that are perchiceable only with espa, and so if someone donated to the game and got the espa he/she would obviously have an advantage, but as far as I know with levels everyone is pretty equal on food. Btw, no need to keep quoting posts unless you want to, its not really a problem but it seems a bit strange for everyone to have to hear their message twice with a screen reader. Most people Just use the quick reply box at the bottom of each page to write a forum reply, or use the reply to top
 ic link rather than individually quoting posts. Its not a problem, its just not really how replies are usually written. A question about Scot Siglerr's books

A few years ago, when id read through everything else by Sigler on podiobooks, I downloaded his book The rooki, at that point a revised adult version and first of a series which I believe at that point had two books, the Rooki and a sequel called The Starter. I decided to download The Rooki and try it before downloading the next book, since while I am a big fan of scifi and at least a moderate fan of Sigler I know next to nothing about American football.However, as will happen I forgot to check this book and it sat on my harddrive gathering virtual dust. The other day I get a fancy to read some sigler, so go and check podiobooks, and things are crazy! There is now not only a second book in the series, but a third and forth, The allpro and the Nvp respectively, however though they still have The Starter, The Rooki (any version of the Rooki), has utterly vanished! much as Nocturnal did (a shame since Nocturnal was one of my favourites, though fortunately I
  do still have a copy of that too).Anyway, I was therefore wondering firstly if anyone who has read the series could tell me what is going on,  is the Starter now the first book (despite the description on podiobooks that still says its sequel to the rooki), and B, is the series actually worth reading for someone who doesnt know or care much about American football? Hi. I understand your reasoning regarding quotes, but its probably more of a hindrance than a help. I myself always start reading replies to a topic at my own last message for example. Solara is fun I agree, my only real issue with the game is I find some of the challenge quests a little frustrating since its not possible to get accurate information on each monster and exactly what is happening in the battle, I would also like monster descriptions for atmosphere since its not always absolutely clear what each monster is. I think those methods of finding secret weapons have already been exhausted. Now its all about chasing down puzzles that are spread out over several stages. Some of the stuff in 16s shop is probably not as useless as it appears. I.e. the paper doll. Still looking for the chaos flare. Oh, so if the platform sounds are the fast banging noises, then why dont I hear them in the earlier sectors? Like the first one in my pictures, you press right arrow four times, land, then I think its jump, right arrow twice, then like right arrow six times or something. So it seems as though only some sectors have platforms. I guess the other ones are multiple corrupt sectors so close together that you have to know exactly where to land by trial and error. Am I correct on this? I know I dont have to play the stages in order, I just like to do so for the sake of...well, I dont know. Id love to see it come back. I agree that something will need to be done to make it less repetitive, or at least make it more worth playing over. An extra skill point might be difficult, but what about a random item, including Apronic armor? If you are the last human alive, there is a [some number] percent chance of getting a special item, from armor to weapons. The item is awarded next time you log into multi-player, and so the more times you can win the higher your chances. Say you win once and have a 20% chance. If you win a second time right after the first win, you have a 30% chance. A third time and you have a 35% chance, and so on. The additional chances shrink, so you can never be certain of an item, but you can start to get close. To curb one chance for abuse I can see already, no one will win anything unless at least [some number] players participate in a game. If the number drops for a game and you are on a winning streak, your chance stays the same, only increasi
 ng if enough people join.As to launching it, I do think it should be in the Main Menu. I thought about it being a type of mission, but having it be its own menu option lets people join or leave at will. Themadviolinist, living on campus is way different than living off of campus. The main difference is there are a lot more ways to socially interact with other college students living in the dorms. There are the public lounges where you can sit and hang out, watch T.V. together, or start up a card game or something with other students in the public lounge. There are usually social groups to join such as clubs where you and others can go and hang out and play games or do things together that you like. I also remember there were occasionally dances and other activities going on too that helped break the ice. Basically, like I said lots of opportunities to meet other people that doesnt generally happen if you live off campus in an apartment.For example, one of my male friends I met in a public mens room in my dorm. I happened to be in their the same time he was. I was washing my hands at the sink and struck up a casual conversation with him. Before I knew it w
 e spent 15 minutes talking, and he invited me over to his room that afternoon. Thats just an example of how easy it is to meet people in college, and how living on campus does offer opportunities to meet friends without trying too hard.When it came to girls again that was pretty simple. Since most dorms now days are coed all I had to do was walk next door to one of the girls rooms, knock on the door and introduce myself. Sometimes the conversations went somewhere, and sometimes the girl was purely uninterested in me.
