kickstarter need help

Help us make Beasts Fury!Weve been working on Beasts Fury for a while but we hit a bump on the road. Traditional 2D animation is a lot of work and very costly. You can also use real alternative which is what I did, which gets you all the real player stuff in your browser but none of the hassle of having it. As to goalball one on one, well if I remember rightly the game only came on cd. There is also a good chance it might appear on the pressakey site for free some time or other, the way their jungle hunt game did, so even if someone did have the game passing it around would not be a good idea, indeed sinse the developer himself is still very active and working Id have to hand out warnings if someone did.As regards the game itself however, I agree with Aaron. I tried the demo when they had it on their website, and it was really not interesting at all. basically you picked a number 1-3, and the there would be a random chance of getting a goal or not. there were three or four different messages for if you got a goal and some more for if you didnt, but that was p

I dont know, its one of these things that could be interesting or not depending upon what is done with it. Id personally suggest you look at what a server could do for your games and considder the design. For example if your thinking of lots of multiplayer type games, especially with more than a couple of players a server might be a good idea, if your games are solo then your probably just best off having the games send scores to the website. Do you want to run games with multiplayer tournaments or the like? do you want extensive multiplayer environments for your games with many people playing at once? Hi.I really like the idea.Sounds like this system can be used to include a text chat in multiplayer games which doesnt have a text chat feature. Voice chat support would be useful for some people as well.Regarding to single player games, rooms for each game could be added into the system, so people could chat about the actual game while playing it. That would of course require a sepret client to the system, if people wanna use this while playing games which dont have the system included.It would be interesting if you could create your own profile, list what games youre playing, post your highscores so the system could inform you if youve reached your personal highscore. Just some random thoughts which I have no idea on how it should work. If a client is going to be released to include access to rooms for games which doesnt ha

Niklas: Some people have some trouble with the game in the village. If Im not wrong, its a bug which wont let the game continue. Try what Kamochek has suggested. If that wont work, I have no idea on how to get around the bug.Kamochek: Oh I see. So, not any replies yet which only means not many people are interested in this game. I might create an other topic in the general games discussions room, where I do my best to explain what this game is about from the very beginning. I think the issue is that people dont know what the game is about, and if you havent played such games before, they are very difficult to start playing, because you expect something totally different from the game.I have de sighted that the next two days should be spent most on gaming for my part. Well regarding other developers its probably best to get opinions and find out sinse it would be something that would need to be implemented into the games themselves.As to whether pure features such as text chat or scoreboards were a good idea in games, well to me itd depend more on the game. If you have a more single player game then your basically just creating a general chat system and those already exist. For a perfect example of how community features can go wrong look at Klango. It began development in around 2007 as an environment to run games. The original Klango net was said to have a hole set of features, several community games, podcatching etc, and the community forums were only one part of the hole. As time passed however the developers spent all their time adding more and more community features, audio avatars, profiles and place search etc, and all the stuff like the games and podcatching and media catalogue got completely neglected

Beware! 46.2 spoilage ahoy!Well that was an interesting one, though i did rather feel the writer let us have it easy by only showing the end of Tardusts torture and not presenting all of it. In a way it actually bothers me slightly that that is presented so casually, with Riley and bert having a very offhand conversation and only afterwards you get what theyre doing, sinse while Tardust is certainly not a nice guy, that doesnt exactly justify being so casual about torturing him, oh and yes, dragging someone behind a car is definitely torture. You can understand completely why Riley and Bert are in a position to do it, but that still doesnt make it okay and I hope there are some consequences somewhere. I do think Wed heard that Tardusts name was Philip earlier, at least I dont remember wondering who he was when Riley and Bert grabbed him though that might just be because I recognized his voice, but I intend to listen to the se
 ries again once it is finished anyway. I hope we dont finish with Dunbar being attacked, sinse that would be an annoying repeat of the finales of both seasons 1 and 2, though I would be surprised if Michaels latest expedition is the final ending, albeit it might turn up some information that leads to it. With regards to the symbols, I actually do wonder what is going on, I suspect the meaning of all of them is connected as being protection, though protection from what is the question, its also not exactly clear how the gas and inks ability to keep at least some of his mind line up, though the fact that the boddies of dead zombies decay into the gass from the cracks is interesting, especially sinse I dont imagine a virus is involved. With regards to Skittles and sweat, if he was unable to sweat in a place with temperatures as high as they get in California, paticularly given all the running around hes done hed be in real 
 danger of dying of heat stroke. I also dont think hes a slow turner, because manifestly zombies still come after slow turners even if the gas doesnt affect them.I suspect there is some sort of family relation between Skittles and Ink, particularly with how paranoid Skittles is that Ink might find him, though hopefully well find out at least that much. Even if we dont find out about the gas and the cracks, I do hope the ink situation works out. Its always been Inks evolutions of the zombies that have caused the real problems and have kept the zombies a major threat through the series, heck the setup at the Urvin base or at Boulder wouldve worked out fine if not for Ink and the little ones, so if the evolution process can be stopped there is some sort of hope of eventually reclaiming the earth, though with only two chapters left well have to see.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=175341#p175341

Well, as for free SAPI voices, I still use eSpeak. But there are non-English SAPI voices that are also free, but Im not going to name them. I also happen to have SAPI5 DECtalk. Its free, and is based on DECtalk 4.6.4. I personally use Dennis, Harry, and Paul, because for me they sound decent, while I do not use the others because I do not like how they butchered them. I personally liked to have DECtalk 4.3 SAPI5. LH voices are alright. I have a few SAPI voices. If you have the JAWS 8 CD, you can get SAPI versions of RealSpeak voices, but thats so hard to find. There are individual installers for each voice, but theyre on NextUp.com. I have an HC char but have only been playing it properly recently because I want to get to Private for the extra weapons. There are a couple of interesting points that people have made about HC chars that Id like to respond to.Firstly, someone said about being able to buy ammo and meds from outposts. I think this is a good idea but that it should cost food. Maybe 1 food equals 1 rep so its still really expensive to do it a lot but it can get you out of trouble.I love the idea of having a command to tell you how many HC players are on line and who they are. I dont have a clan or a fort with my HC char and, although its definitely easier to level now than in previous versions, its really boring doing so alone. I think there should be a way, maybe through buying stuff for food from the people at the outposts, that you can get stuff independently, rather than depending on a clan. This seems like it would make sense from a roleplay perspectiv
 e as well because the people at the outposts sort of represent the idea of the hardy loners which HC characters are.On the subject of missions, I think there should possibly be some kind of reward for HC players for completing them. After all, the messages you get about them still show that youre helping the SZ with the food, medical supplies and such like that you get. How about if you get a reward from the SZ for completing them? If you do a 10 medical, for example, they break open one of the crates and give you 1 medkit to thank you. You could get 10% of whatever youve collected (rounded up and split between all participants to a minimum of 1). For example, a 45 crate chemical mission gives you 4.5 tanks of gas, rounded up to 5. If 5 people participated, theyd all get one can of gas as their reward. Each type of mission would give you different things: actual food for the food missions, work jeans/winter coat for the blankets/clothing, a medkit for the me
 dical, hunting rifle ammo for the camping supplies, chainsaw/flame thrower gas for the chemicals, etc. If not, it doesnt make sense that youd be doing the missions to help out the SZ in the first place.Regarding the complicated backpack idea, I think thats too random. I proposed the idea of having a command for an HC char to create a cache of equipment. This is a beacon that you can set yourself anywhere on any map. Once set, you cant make another without destroying your old one. Nobody else can access it. You can save 3 things in it with a weapon, piece of armour, accessory or can of fuel occupying a spot each. The same spot can be occupied by 100 rounds of the same ammunitio, 100 pieces of food or 5 medkits. This is a tiny stash that any sensible independent survivor in a zombie apocalypse would establish and would give you a boost after dying without breaking the game. I really think this would be a fun and relatively simple way to give those of us 
 without forts a chance, especially since there are so few forts on the game for the number of characters and clans. I suppose the only problem is that it gives more player-specific info for the server to keep track of. Then again, since the server doesnt sinc clients properly anyway, would it really make that much difference?Sorry for the long post. Rachel, I just checked the latest version, and bill works now, but he doesnt make a sound until after you free him.Once you exit, then re-enter his house, he makes his sound.Oh, and he also doesnt say anything while hes in that monster suit thing.I knew what to do because I plaied the original game, but text should be put their so others can know to talk to his PC.I cant remember if the game asked if you wanted to look at bills PC before you freed him or not.Oh and you might want to ge wrid of that save file in the latest version. When apt-get decides that init.d is broken and stuck in a horrible loop of doom, and complains about totally unrelated packages like checkroot and btsync, this is, in fact, citadels fault. Michael (Speed of Sound Gaming),  I think in principle, this is a great idea. In practice though, I fear youll run into a situation where it is not used. Probably about a year ago I had offered something similar to this, but meant only as a quick way for developers to add a top score list. Mine was quite a bit simpler of a design, but it had some of the same ideas where people would set up an account for their game and used encryption keys to upload scores.  A lot of newer developers arent quite ready to tackle things like online scoreboards, and I was hoping this would help them out. While talking with different people after I released a beta of the program/service, I found that no one was really interested in using it. People told me it was a good idea but developers either knew enough to do their own scoreboards (and thus preferred to when it came down to it), or they were new enough that they wante
 d to avoid the unknown. In the end I had people saying they wanted to use it, but not a single person did.  Just sharing my own similar experience in case it helps you out. Your project would appeal to a higher class of developer because it could handle far more than a high score list, but also requires then to know more about programming. Im not sure how those differences would affect the outcome.No matter what, I wish you luck in whatever you do to help yourself with games, and to help the rest of the audiogames community! Install XBMC,, then get the addon from the XBMC TTS website, as well as its repo. Then, run XBMC at least once, press the arrow keys to see if it came up. If it did hit command Q to close it. We did this for XBMC to create the appropriate user folders. Now, copy the 2 folders, one for the addon and the other for the repository. Hit Command shift G to open the go to folder dialog and enter ~/library/Application Support/XBMC/addons and paste the 2 folders in. Ive been getting a lot of requests to change HC, and I think we can all agree its pretty broken at the moment. I have been toying with some new ideas for HC, but it would take it in a totally different direction, and I want to make sure people like the idea.The original design for HC was to make players either independent or relying on the team work of their small clan. Competition over forts was a way to really reinforce that idea of your little group being against the world. I am very tempted to move away from that design. Especially after the item trading feature was added it is easy to see that the normal characters thrive because they work together. Perhaps it is time to steer HC to that direction also.I have a few different ideas, but here is just 1 as an example. What if forts served as shops to buy and sell goods, using food as the currency?If/when I have a more complete plan for HC, Ill share it.

A lot of what Im posting is noted on the AppleVis forums. Im posting it here so you all know what is going on. Im not the developer of this iOS title but want to spread the word. However, he is enthusiastic about trying to make this work. Here are some thoughts for what he has in mind (taken from his post on AppleVis).Most of the interactable UI objects are just buttons. It seems like the right thing here is one-touch reads the text (or a short description I create forimaged buttons) and double-tap presses it.There are large swathes of text, a number of which are very long and completely irrelevant to the game play. Id like them to be available, but if youhad the treasure chest description read to you 100 times, youd go crazy. Is the best thing here tap to read by paragraph? By whole text? Or single-clickto say You found a treasure chest, double-click to read the whole thing?For interacting with the dungeon, my proposal is to have single-click read the things there with the same level of information the visual UI gives (soclicking on a monster that youre next to says Level 7 Faerie Rogue, but one far away is just Faerie Rogue) and double-clicking moves you to that place(as if youd single-clicked in the current UI). Moving to a place would then again read the information, confirming that youd successfully gotten there(since you can get ambushed on the way).For things that happen with a visual cue, just read the text out loud - it happens infrequently and the text is short.For combat, click on a card to get its name, double click to read the full text, and drag to the center to play, drag to the graveyard to discard (sameas the standard UI, kind of). Clicking on things that usually pop up text just reads the text instead. Whenever the enemy plays a card, read the name ofthe card it played. When the enemy is done with its turn and its your turn again, say so. Expanding the discard pile and equipment pile works as normal except that closing it has to be done by clicking the same place rather than anywhere sothat you can actually examine the cards that come up. Alternatively, it could read the names of those cards as it pops them up.Off the top of my head, thats most things. The hardest for me is the text since it doesnt really work in a way thats conducive to clicking right now.How does this sound? Actually, I think the comma, period and slash keys bring up quick text displays for those that can see if you hold them down. At least thats what the text indicates when you press them. Hello guysI want to let you guys know that there is a setting in BT sync, that lets you to share files with people who are very far from you. by default, it is set in a way for example, if you live in america, you cant sync with people in asia or africa.We have confirmed it, me and BuzzBeGone.I live in Iran, and buzz lives in canada. we couldnt transfer files because of the default setting in bt sync.Ok heres the trick for solving this:1. in btSyncs interface, Go to the Preferences tab2. press the advance... button3. you are on a list now. scroll down untill you see, Sync_Max_Time_diff 6004. when that setting is highlighted, press tab and set the value to 0. then press one tab again and hit the set button.5. shift tab and confirm that the value is set to zero on the setting.6. press escape one time so the small window closes, then press tab untill you

The game isnt real time, but it does have a clock of sorts. You basically are able to decide how much game time passes, whenever you want things to happen. But theres no reflexes or realtime component otherwise.Basically, the game is a giant space sandbox. You start out on Earth, and are able to design ships to go out and search for other planets, resources, alien life or whatever. The real complicated part of the game is the ship design and economic system. Ships are built out of components, most of which you also need to design. You can design different kinds of engine for military ships, or less efficient versions for civilians to use. The same goes for sensors, weapons, and so forth. Its all a bit overwhelming at first Im afraid. The game really wasnt designed to be user-friendly, and is only playable by us at all because it happened to be written in VB6.URL: http

I originally liked the concept of HC, but with extended play, even in a clan where I am pretty low level, and now especially that forts are popcorn to be munched, the concept of some larger scheme of cooperative play feels like it might make things more interesting. So, heres a blue sky thought that may or may not be manageable.Forts provide access to items donated by other players. Theres a finite supply of items, since donation is the only way that forts get stocked. Or, perhaps items appear in forts according to their food status. Keep the forts food supply up, and it will be more stocked.Every so often, a fort is attacked by raiders, the number to be determined perhaps as a function of the number of HC players on the game. HC players will have a finite amount of time to get to an SZ and join the mission to defend the fort. Experience is doled out on the basis of the number of raider attackers and survivors.
