When you insert a game it always pops up on the dynamic menu one to the right of whats new which is the furthermost left option always. Also, games start installing straight away when the disc is inserted. You dont have to go click install or anything. You just press X on a game to launch it.

@twoard yeah Im sure thats why Camlorn was so negative as well. However, I think that he was neglogent to the fact that most of us are teenagers developing little games as a hobby, not professionals. From the start, I knew that pure basic would not! Be a language to use in the proffessional field. However, Ive used it as a way to learn and practice programming concepts that should in theory make it easier to learn a more modernised language. I know mostly all of the programming terms and what they mean, so learning a more advanced language such as c++, python, or java would only be a matter of getting down the syntax.

Hey there Musicman, karate here. I would absolutely love to play with you, Im of course looking for buddies to play online games with now that Ive got my PS4 hooked up and everything works right. I dont have a ps3, but arent the systems backwards compatible? I can find that out easily enough Ive got friends down here at my local Gamestop. Anyone know how to get anything to go on this machine? I can put a game in, but I dont really know how to get it going. Way too many menues and selections to make and the thing doesnt talk yet. Im afraid to touch it now, I can barely run a dvd on this thing for Christs sake. Im excited and all to play it and get to know it, but I need to figure out how to get things to play on it first. I had to go to the computer to set up my PSN account, since the server kept timing out when I tried to do it through the system itself. Please help! Musicman, thats funny because I havent played any SFIV, MK 9, or Injustice in quite a while... lately I only play under night in-birth, Jojos Bizarre Adventure: all Star Battle, and Samurai Warriors 4... and Ive never been much of an online gamer in any event. But one of these days soon... we can definitely have a throwdown, but I call foul since Injustice and MK 9 both have horrible netcode, and my own internet is bad on its own... lol.

Things like PHP, _javascript_, CSS, are different stories though. Im not in the least experienced with web design, though I expect Ill want to have that just in case its a prefered trait among employers. Im just curious: what changed in Warehouse3 (the Stripmall map)? The log said things were added, but all I see are a window and barricaded doors in the unused corner. Do they open during a mission, perhaps, or are they just there while the internals of that mysterious structure are worked on for a future update?

CAE_Jones, thank you very much. but you couldnt explain how to make vector 3d space by means of bgt? examples of its use: rtr, swump, shades of doom... the character can turn on parts of the world on degrees. we will allow, I have a field 50 on 50 cages with any sound object on coordinates 20 20. my character can shooters up and down move across the field, keys of arrows to the right and will turn to the left. explain please, if not difficult as such to realize. I will be very grateful.

So it is good for windows. Still I can’t give a final answer about this because I haven’t found a good task manager for windows yet.I think the speed of jaws 16 is improved to somewhat extent. It works faster and it gets better along with internet explorer. It was jaws 16 which made me start using I.E again.But I think there’s still some hard work to do in order to improve jaws. The speed is not bad, but the responsiveness still lags.

@crashmaster,Oh no, I dont like windows XP at all. No problem even if I dont have to do with internet connections, but I dont really like it.Well actually backing up files safely can be even done by sharing public folders. The speed of transferring isnt really bad, I tried it and the speed was like copying files to a USB drive. I copied 37 GB onto my laptop and messing around with them wasnt such a big deal. Before formatting your computer, join the public folder of your other computer, or to a computer of your friend and copy the files to its public folder. One thing is certain for sure, if you copy the files to the public folder of your computer, they will be lost without a doubt. But copy the files to the other joined computer public folder. I think you know this better than me. Transferring files when both computers are on a local network is very easy.

Hi.I agree with the previous poster.I have been an xp user and progressively I have updated to windows7 on all systems.1 of these is a 64 bit system the others are 64 but I run 32 bit oses.It all depends what you have loading, I have only my screenreader and security software 2 programs and thats it.I never keep Skype and other stuff running unless I need them so its not that bad.On the other systems an old i3 and a new quad i5 the systems run well though the i3 may be getting close to its cpu limit with all the extras needed by that system.I run windows pro and thats all you really need, I dont know why any home user needs ultimate I have never needed it.Ofcause with windows 10 since its free for the first year I may get whatever the max adition is as long as they fix all the issues.As for 8.1 and so on, I used it once on a new system and even after slimming its configuration, and spending half the night clea
 ring the junk off of it, I found windows8.1 quite complex and hard to use.I also found it slow and laggy though it could have been the configuration and such to who knows.A lot of systems have stuff they dont need.Like an advanced virus checker like Norton.All your extra software will slow things down.I have simple average security software msse right now maybe I will go for nod32 or maybe f secure or viper f secure is really cheap and doesnt have fishing protection which is fine I guess point is you really should use what you need.I have 4gb of ram and run a few old 16 bit apps so 32 bit is for me.Most blindness related stuff like games run on windows, for the blind its better all round if we stay with windows.Macs have their own issues Linux is another and free option sonar is now arch based and its what I use on and off.Now if your system or at least 1 of your systems your school one for example never touches the 
 net there is another option for you.Install windows xp, its stable and will do what you want.its not supported anymore but if you can get one coppy of it its quite stable.If it was still supported Id still be using it over windows7 even.I am holding out for windows 10 But if that doesnt happen, my system can go to 8 for no additional cost and thats what I may end up doing.One thing I will do I must admit is have a local account and have another account for online mode as I call it.I had a friend that after her system did funny things took the box back to a computer shop and they told her she had a virus or maybe she may have pushed a wrong key.After making her buy an upgraded supposedly better scanner, it transpired that all it was was that she had touched the wrong thing.her net then went down and her accounts didnt sync she had to reformat, back up her files and may have had to replace her mi
 croshit account or resync it I am not sure.While the cloud is good for backup there is no fucking way I will be relying it as my primary no way in hell.I have used windows7 for the last 3 years and I have had no troubles at all.

And thats your problem there afrim.no sane bastard runs 1.4ghz core2 duos with 2gb of ram anymore.Yes it can be done yes you can run 2.4ghzs I have an uncle that has a del laptop and a del desktop one 32 and one 64 bit doing the same configurationIf you want to run that sort of thing go back to windows xp or lower.windows will run but its a bit of a joke.windows needs at least 4gb of ram and an i3 2.5ghz to run even then its still a bit of a joke.your desktop may be ok but your laptop well, um.win 10 for the first year will be free so go get it I guess, however Id really get extra ram for both systems and Id try to update the desktop cpu and replace the laptop.I am not sure how old your tech is, but the age well.Next dont compare apples with kiwifruit.your average tablet uses an arm processer which in some ways is faster than the standard chips normal computers use.Its a different os, etc.You are running what us in the industry call minimal spec.Ofcause its a bunch of crap its minimal use it will run but you need a bit more than what you have.like you I am running 32 bit just because everything I have is 32 bit but I may next format go for 64 bit.

I just boughtt a game for the 3ds that I think can be plaied.Its Theatrhythm final fantasy curtain call.None of the menus rap, and the game has lots of sound.the only thing people might need sighted help with is putting your name; if that matters to you; and maybe setting up your starting party, but that can be done without help if one is determined enough.It does take sone time to learn, but I quite enjoy the game, and Ive only had it a week!If people are entrested, I can post menus and such.

From a subjective standpoint:Windows 7, in my experience, is, quite frankly, crap. This is simply because, as youve discovered, it lags like hell and things just slow down to a crawl.I cant speak for Mac OSX devices, but Id personally say give windows 8 a try. (As a side note, Im fully aware youre considering alternatives to windows, but I thought Id throw it out there.)I must admit I do rather like Windows 8, as its responsive, runs probably all the things youll need as you stated above and if it crashes, its not a regular thing.

Eighty percent of your problem is that your running the 32 bit versions of windows, and also that your using Ultimate instead of Home Premium or Professional.Most apps are now running allot better on 64 bit devices, notably Jaws, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, ETC, but others as well, though the age of the machine could also have something to do with it, if the hardware is out of date.The problem with using Ultimate addition, especially on 32 bit versions, since the computer can only recognize and use 2.93GB of your RAM even if you have more, is that you have allot of unnecisary services running that I seriously doubt youll ever use, and even if you do use things like the advanced group policy, high level networking and server modules, and drive encryption, among others, than your almost certain to find third party apps that do everything that they can do, but better.As to Jaws, even in the latest versions, on both 
 32 and 64 bit additions of Windows up to Windows 8.1, it still causes a few extra seconds of lag on load and 1 or 2 on unload for many different apps, something that the most up to date version of NVDA does not, simply because of the way that the two different screen readers get information from the screen.If you dont consider your self a power user, meaning that you dont mess around with more advanced system settings allot of the time, than Windows 7 Home Premium is your best bet, and if you do, than Windows 7 Professional does most of the things that Windows 7 Ultimate can, but without a bunch of extra crap.If you want to know weather your computer can run 64 bit versions of windows, than there is a compatibility test on the Microsoft website that you can easily find by googling it.Unfortunately, Microsoft has stopped selling Windows 7 install disks, and so have most third party resellers. Additionally, even if you do manage
  to grab one, Microsoft wont give you a product code to unlock it, and they also dont give out new updates for it any more, though that hasnt personally caused me any security problems...This means that unless you switch to windows eight, which, if you buy legally, will also let you get a free copy of Windows 10 when it comes out later this year or early next, than your only option is to find a copy of Windows 7 through illegal means, which I cant tell you how to do, per the forum rules.I hope that answers at least some of your questions...

Hi guys, So, as you read from the topic’s title, I am getting very disappointed by Windows performance. I have two computers in my house, one laptop and another one desktop. Both running windows 7 Edition Ultimate - 32 bit.I use my laptop everyday at my school, basically for school purposes such as writing, reading and everything else you do at school with your computer. It’s been almost a year since I formatted it, but it lags anyway, although it is used only for those purposes mentioned above. Both computers lag at some points especially my laptop.Log into facebook, it will slow down. (facebook.com not m.facebook or touch.facebook.com)Open youtube, it is destined to crash, at least on firefox and sometimes on internet explorer.When a webpage is overcrowded, both are supposed to crash. No matter which screen reader are you using. NVDA also crashes a lot for those who want to blaim jaws for causing this.Skype is definitely worsening my life, at least on PC, because on android it runs perfectly.Also some programs may crash during your work, which is very tiring.This situation is steadily becoming boring and much frustrating and it constantly makes me shake my computers over the ground being conscious what I will lose because I have a large number of materials and lessons saved there.I am looking for another alternative apart from windows, and the best one is supposed to be MakOSx devices, or apple devices (don’t know how you exactly call them).I think they are more powerful, stable, flexible and maybe more responsive. Apple laptops are not so popular here where I live, because everybody used to have computers running windows.Probably accessibility is better. But I don’t know where to try one because they are rarely found here.So what could you suggest me? So far, I am not willing to buy one, but If I travel abroad like in UK or USA I will certainly buy one because I will not have to do with my language, which is not supported by apple voices. Okay, Ive just finished my game thanks to the final boss being fixed, but I found a few bugs.Boss rush mode just says thanks for playing when selected.The ending song needs to be shorter; Ill see about that.It seems that my pc; at least; seems to take a lot my resources during story sequences than in the main game.Speaking of story sequences, the one before marys first boss fight doesnt play.Are the wave versions of knock and transport no longer being used?If so, they should be removed from the sounds directory.readbeard is now playable, but it seems that the monster strength always resets everytime a new wave starts.I think you might have made the armor boost a little cheaper than what is listed?If you start a new game or load one from the new story mode and then go back to marys story without exiting the game, the sound of the monsters taking damage is still the one from the new mode.I

The song that plays durning the ending of marrys story is a full fleged song. If it is to long for a player, they can press the escape key to skip the rest. Ill look into the problem with boss rush mode, and erease the wav files from the sounds directory. Thanks threeblacknoises.

Ill explain the best I can, for mush-z or mushclient user. Its actually the same but despite what Dentin said mush0z was specificly for Alter, I never think so. Mush-z is better than the plain mushclient, with all accessible features and such, which mushclient never seem to have.1. Go to file menu and go to new world2. in the name box, type in whatever you want to name the world, . I recommend clok, since it is the mud name itself.3. Press tab once and type in clok.contrarium.net.4. tab again, type in the port number, in this case, should be 40005. Thats it, now time to configure the plugin for your new world. Dont forget to save the world file, or else youll have to retype it everytime you wanna play.*If you want Clok with soundpack, you can go to the forum and ignore the steps above. Im really liking the game so far!Here are some suggestions.Try to use more unique sounds and phrases that dont remind people of Judgement Day and World of War, such as the machine gun, new level sound, health regeneration, new missile, and new grenade phrases, and the wording slash theme for some of the trophies.Get more music in the game if possible, for the trophy case and difficulty level selection sub menu.Add a speaker test, score boards if at all possible, and learn game sounds menu if you feel like its worth your time to do so.Add a pause feature, allow the use of the right control key for firing, move check level to L instead of E, consider adding a quick speaker test command for when in actual game play for those with IEMs and earbuds, and possibly work on adding controller support, as time permits, of course.Increase volume of helicopter hit sounds, reduce stereo field width o
 f drones, add sound for helicopters actually touching the ground after coming in to land so that its easier to here them, possibly move walky talky to middle and reverse channels for behind player effect, or replace with descriptive sounds for reloading.Make drones fall a bit faster on easier levels, add less ships based on difficulty and instead focus more on ship strength, damage, and speed, if you agree that its too much, than slightly scale back ship drop rate for hard difficulty, reduce rate of health regeneration and item generation based on difficulty.Add more uniqueness to the game by slowing the rate of fire of the machine gun down to between 150RPM and 300RPM depending on the weapon, and calling it an anti aircraft gun, auto cannon, or 50 calibur M|G or HMG, increase damage and range, and change sound accordingly, change name of rapid machine gun to Minigun or Gatling gun and keep or increase current rate of fire as you see fit, lower 
 range and damage, and possibly add electric background motor sound, remove grenades and replace with Surface to Air Missiles or airburst mortor shells, also add a bit more blast radius and add possibility for multiple target penetration, possibly with decreasing damage based on range from initial launch point , remove missiles and use destroy all ships item only, either remove item catcher and possibly replace with chance to obtain extra munitions via certain amount of downed ships, score value increments, or randomly when being resupplied, or use a more net like sound in conjunction with airdrops from cargo planes.Have movement rate be based on current weapon, and possibly add quiet sound for weapon movement, possibly also based on weapon, add sounds that are unique to each weapon for switching between them.Any help with sounds that you need... Hello Tward.Yeah if I were you I wouldnt want to do a port for iOs or android either. Its probably a lot more practical to just write a game for android or iOs from scratch. I really dont like that there is no alternative to x-code for windows. But at least google gives you android sdk that I have on my windows machine in case I want to write android apps. And google play doesnt charge you to put up your apps like apple does. I dont think I would want to charge for games so I would be paying a couple hundred dollars to put a free app on the appstore.Ive looked at c++ and its crazy c# and c++ syntax are very similar at least from what Ive seen. So Im hoping that if I learn c# it will make it easier for me to learn c++.Right now Im working to learn python because Ive heard google frequently uses it so if I went into an interview I could tell them that I know a few different languages. I dont kn
 ow anybody personally who is a professional software developer but it sure sounds like a fun job.

to anyone who is interested, dmnb works with supernova screen reader and access sweet.Currently the server is down, so i havent been able to test if it works with walking and such,. However, i was able to test it in the main menu, so from what i saw, it works perfectly fine.
