@razorIve checked, its not on the app store on my IPhone or on the ITunes website.If its been pulled in Germany, your girlfriend probably downloaded it when it was available originally. If it hasnt been pulled, youre lucky.That does raise an interesting question though, as I couldnt see the app last year when I was looking into switching consoles. Maybe they remove it whenever they want to update it? Wouldnt make sense but its the only plausible theory I have at the moment.Edit: Seems like I might be right, as Ive just read somewhere that someones also discovered the same problem about the app not being available.

@sightless She didnt see an update notification. And I cant find it on my iPhone either. So they pulled it from the store. I checked on the german sony Website and they have a link for the german app store. ITunes says that this app isnt available in my Country at the Moment. So, why should Sony post a link for an app for their german users? So the only Logical Explanation is that they really pull it from the store bevore an update.

PB-Games has been history for years now, Blastbays products were much more advanced and of a much higher quality.And I believe Blastbay isnt gone for good, either. Philip just needed to get established in a regular job or project that would be able to earn him enough to sustain a living. Simply put, not everyone can just spend all their time developing games because they dont have a real life alone, away from their parents, or an income that would be enough to live off in certain more expensive countries.He has said it himself numerous times that its never impossible for him to create a new audiogame or get back to finishing one of the past ones sometimes in the unspecified future, when his financial situation is more stable and the projects he is currently working on are completed enough so that they wont take as much of his available time and effort any more.Lukas

Get a better hard drive too. The hard drives that manufacturers put in their laptops are real dogs usually. They are 5400 RPM drives for the most part, though Ive saw some older ultra portables with 4200 RPM drives. Combine a slow hard drive with a small pool of ram and your not going to end up with good performance at all. Windows will regularly run out of ram and will have to swap the overflow onto virtual memory which is a portion of your hard drive set aside for storing the extra stuff that cant be put in ram right at that moment. When that virtual memory is on a slow hard drive, the hole system is going to bog down reading and writing stuff to that slow drive. windows 8 will help you too as it runs on tablets with 2 GB of ram no problem.

I think the problem with accessibility on the ps3 was the ram limitation. At launch, the ps3 reserved 122 MB of ram for its OS out of 256. Sony managed to get that down to like 45 in the end, but developers always wanted more. The ps3 was that hamstrung by ram that the full xmb couldnt load while you were in a game. If loading the full xmb was a struggle, then TTS was probably beyond the system.

Hello,LOL @assault if the ps3 was also getting this I would have gone upstairs and upgraded, how ironic would that have been, lets go into a scenario for a second. How crazy would it be, if suddenly everyone updates the ps4, but not only that, the vita also gets an update, and then, out of the absolute blue, a ps3 fermware update gets released. I think that would probably make the presss mouths get stuck open and make their eyes open up so wide with shock (exposing their eyeballs in the process) because of sony going back to a previous generation. That would be kind of hilarious.

i have this game pre-ordered for ps4, along with the kombat pack and goro.it is confirmed that sinnok is not the same as in mk 4, he uses a variety of Speedy attacks, and fireballs, spells from his amulet, and dont remember what else he has to fight. the only variation we know is inpostor.liu kang as final boss, no thanks. some fans want him to be the boss, dont understand why, really.

the update is out for the ps4! waiting for it to update, once its done, Il probly post how to enable the TTS.But here are some tips to update, on the apps menu where all the recent games youve played, press x on a game, it will make the sound of no disk or the quit game sound, press x and then go down and press x twice. this is because you start on view details, and i was stuck for like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to start the update and i just got my brother to help me, and it turns outits real simple to update!

Goldshark thank you for your advice.@CrashmasterActually both my laptop and desktop are running a 32 bit edition, I meant I won’t make that mistake again, getting stuck at a 32 bit system again.Well about restarting I do it frequently, especially when my laptop is under use for long hours.It helps a little.But also performing a disk cleanup is not bad, is it?I’m thinking of upgrading to windows 8.1, certainly after trying out windows 10.@JellmanWell, getting a windows edition ISO isn’t such a big deal, but I’m looking to get windows 8.1. I know it may be a little hard and complicated, but I will get rid of that.

i can confirm it. the tts only reads chat, and keyboard. it only Works if you have english set as your default language, and it has these options.speed, and volume.to actívate the tts.press up on your controller, then go all the way right. press left one time, then press x.now, go down to the last option, and press up two times. press x. now, youre in accessibility.the first option is text to speech. pres x two or three times, you will know if youve activated the tts, because when theres nothing to select, you will hear a different sound.example. if you go down to the last option, and press down again, you will hear a sound, indicating that you have no more options.

For my downloads you need to get the bird to land on the teleportation pad without you landing on it (time your jump over it and the bird might just land thre). Yes its quite a bit of enemies after you jump the teleporter, up till the boss fight.

Funny about NRS closing plot holes... because there are way too many new ones that popped up in MK 9! To whoever said they missed my comments, hahahaha... rage mode indeed, but as a bit of a story maniac, I feel like if youre going to present such a good story mode with this much effort, you should at least try and explain the plot in a more justifiable way. Why kill people only to bring them back the next game? This has been an MK trademark for years. hahaha. But I think one of the designers said it best in MK deception while I was watching one of the character trading card videos. This is mortal kombat... noone really ever stays dead. lol

uh, not to contradict anyone, but we always got consoles in the past, and they never had a TTS feature. I dont see this any different. You guys make is sound as if weve always had TTS and all of a sudden, it was taken away. hahaha. Id love a fully functional TTS, but what can ya do? we can just try contacting Sony like weve been doing, and maybe something will eventually happen. Just try and be kind and understanding about the whole thing. If your emotions are in the way while you contact them, then take a few hours to calm down and try again. getting emotional wont help our cause. Remember, the TTS code itself is there, thats the important part. Now all Sony needs to do is improve it, like they did with voice commands, and any number of other features. This is still huge guys, dont ever forget that. Sony has taken the first step. At least now we can party chat and have fun with the community like everyone else. I havent gotten m

Just something to bear in mind. MK 2011 was a reboot. Take everything from any game pre-MK 2011 and forget it. MK 2011 basically rewrites it. Armageddon never happened, is no longer canon. That Liu Khang zombie thing...never happened. Youll figure all this out by doing MK 2011s story mode.I personally have a bit of a beef with such serious retcons, but there you are.

Andre, there are two downloads on the full voice website... the full voice demo, and the actual full voice game. If youre translating the website, it should tell you which one youre downloading... and if you have the full game, you can access he volcano portion of the game just fine. Many of us have beaten the whole thing, as Ive said. The only conclusion I can draw is that youre playing the demo for some reason.

Try restarting the BTSync after applying the patch, or if that doesnt work, exit BTSync and repatch, and then open it.If not even that works, try running bt sync cliccker as admin (though it should work perfectly fine without that).But does it let you focus the window correctly when you click with it?

Hi oriol and players. I discovered this game recently and I am really excited. I have some questions, sorry if this was asked and answered before. I gained some money and bought the eloquence pack. Yes, that one simple where it says the appropriate keys. So I win all levels and get to the random. In random, I am getting safe cards after each one or two keypresses, is that fine or is it some kind of bug? the second question is, would it be possible to translate the game to other languages? ok guys. my friend launched this thing to check it out, and I must say its pretty awesome. Yes you guys are mostly right, it reads party chat stuff. but theres a lot of things in party you can do. for instance. you can see what people type in party. you can read whos in your party, and see what game your friends playing. you can create and join parties accessibly. you can join peoples games and view their broadcasts from there as well. the messages area, and on-screen keyboard reads, so you can send and receive messages. you are also able to set up shareplay sessions. There are tooltips as well, so youll know how to activate various functions related to whatever it is youre trying to accomplish. if you try moving to far in any direction, youll get a sound to let you know you cant move anymore. I cant wait to try this thing out myself when I get my console! I definitely think blind people were taken into consideration when this 
 feature was developed, and I have high hopes that itll be improved in future.

Okay, let me see if I can set this up for you.spoilers ahead. Lots of them.Youve been warned.In 2010, we had a whole pile of MK games to go with, the most recent of which was Armageddon, a sort of free-for-all mishmash. There was no Cyber Sub-Zero, but there was a robotic Smoke. Noob and Smoke apparently teamed up in some fashion. Oonaga had been loosed on the world and then hopefully destroyed. The Deadly Alliance between Shang Tsung and Quan Chi happened.Then MK 2011 came along, and all that stopped mattering.When Raiden sent a message to himself, essentially at the end of Armageddon, it allowed Raidens past self to try and influence events in a different way. For instance, he saved Smoke but Sub-Zero was made into a cyborg. Thats just one example. MK 2011 stopped before the timeline where Mortal Kombat 4 would come into play. Kai, Jerik, Tanya, Fujin...theyre all potentially waiting in the wings somewhere.So unle
 ss youre going to subscribe to the parallel-universe theory which would allow for both timelines to exist, you have to accept that things are different. Many people from the first three MK games (mortal kombat, MK2 and MK3) are dead, having been destroyed by Sindel. In that other timeline, they would still have been alive.In this new timeline, Armageddon simply hasnt happened yet. Zombie Liu Kang hasnt really happened yet. Shujinko hasnt released Oonaga yet. The Deadly Alliance, as such, hasnt really happened yet either. There are a lot more dead people, thats for sure. There are also a lot more live ones, people we didnt know about in the previous timeline. What Im saying, though, is that the things that happened in previous games may yet happen again, but because history has changed, they may not.TLdr version: Dont assume that just because it happened in MK4, Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon or something
 , its going to happen again. It might, but chances are good that the ripple effect caused by Raiden warning himself about the calamity he then managed to avert is going to cause one hell of a lot of backlash.Also, my vote for big bad guy is Shinoc, hands down. Maybe Midway realizes how badly they shafted him and now that they have a reboot to play with, theyre going to give him some rough justice.

A Problem with Alter Aeon or Mush Client...

Greetings,  Im trying to help a Blind friend of mine, who has been playing Alter Aeon for a few years now. Last nite, he was playing and in game, told it to look into a collectors bag that was on the ground. It took him a few tries, to figure out how to word it right so he could look into the bag. He used commands like look col gro or look coll gro or look in gro coll or something like that.  Now its added the [exits: north, east, west, south] to the screen and also doing something like: when he types scan, it does part of the scan, then when he hits south or something, itll list the rest of the scan. It seems like theres a lag on certain commands. Im figuring that he accidentally must have used an Alter Aeon command or maybe a Mushclient command.. But we dont know which one...Denton told us to try Mush-z but that d
 idnt help like we thought at first... Anyone have any ideas? It seems like its something specific to HIS machine. If I log in with mine, I dont get the problem.

Hello everyone, Ive just watched the gentlemans short demo of how to activate the text to speech feature and Ive heard it speak for the very first time. Even though it isnt much at this point, Im looking forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. Incidentally, Ive had some help with loading up a game in my system, Im using a PS4, but Im wondering if theres a work around to the having to click on the icons of the games, or can you simply put in a disc and itll pull up the game after it installs? any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, as well as some other suggestions for how to navigate the PS4. OK so deathmatch is like the best game ever now, I have to say.Danny just seriously gave me an F16 fighter for my birthday, and Im dieing to test it out! So whos gonna let me blow em up?Anyways, yeah I think weather on the planets would be awesome, especially for those planets that are baren aside from the generic station. Sperattic thunderstorms, hail, the birds and sunshine you have... speratic winds... yeah. We can talk on skype if you need me to further explain how this might be possible. Oh and is there a way to navigate away from ion storms? Those can be a huge annoyance, when your hull gets smashed by like 5 or 10 and it takes 20 minutes to repare. lol

there is no TTS option in the accessibility menu. there is only 8 options, these are inverted colors, bold, zoom enlarged text and button control assignment, so how did you enable TTS when its not in that menu?

@victorious: you can either downgrade using the stock firmware or flash a custom rom which can be done without sighted assistance if you dont mind farting around with the terminal. Generally, you never need sighted assistance with android. After a factory reset, just wait until the ui loads, most devices will vibrate, others will play a sound, wait about 30 seconds to a minute, then place two fingers on the screen in any position until you hear talkback, if you do it right, the system will say keep holding down 2 fingers to enable accessibility, afterwords, talkback will speak. This turns on explore by touch, talkback and an accessibility shortcut, where you can get into the power menu at any point and perform the two-finger gesture to turn talkback on at any time, from android 4.2 and on. Hope this helps.

Hay every one. Just a quick note to say that I finally have my own dropbox account. So I updated the link in the first post to reflect this. Also I zipped this up as a .rar file. I hope this helps with problem that crashmaster reported. Threeblacknoises, I tested the boss rush mode, and I dont seem to having a problem with it. Oups, forgot to put that spoiler warning in. :-) @assault_freak You are right. I played the games about 8 years ago. Forgot a lot of the Story.@Jayde Maybe or maybe not. Netherrealm Studios is Setting the Story again up. Ohterways we wouldnt have shinok again. I think they are closing a lot of plot holes. So the Story may be different in mkx and the Sequels.

The tone_synth object allows both frequency and musical notes when generating tones.If you need exact frequencies, theres probably a table somewhere, but I just start from middle A = 440 and go from there.If youre use to a different musical system, C-D-E-F-G-A-B corresponds to do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti.This might be useful:const double HALFSTEP=1.059463;//for on-the-fly transpositionMultiply a pitch by HALFSTEP to raise it by 1 halfstep, divide to lower.Also keep in mind that the same note, at a higher octave, is pitch*2, and at a lower octave, pitch/2.(So to reduce rounding errors, it might be better to jump to the nearest octave and transpose by HALFSTeps from there.)Exponentiation might help, here. If you have a note at do and want to raise it to mi, you could say pitch*HALFSTEP*HALFSTEP*HALFSTEP*HALFSTEP, but itd be easier to say pitch*power(HALFSTEP, 4);But if you want to raise a no

Hay every one. Just a quick note to say that I finally have my own dropbox account. So I updated the link in the first post to reflect this. Also I zipped this update as a .rar file. I hope this helps with the problem that crashmaster reported. Threeblacknoises, I tested the boss rush mode, and I dont seem to be having a problem with it. actually, armageddon really happened, and all story prior to mk 1 happened as well. why?. because in the intro of mk 2011, raiden sent a message to himself at his last moments after armageddon, it only rewrites the story from mk 1 onwards. of course, armageddon will never happen now, and a lot of things will change drastically. but all events before mk 1 had happened actually.acording to some spanish players, liu kang is controlled by quan chi and shinnok, like all the fighters that died in mk 9. but aparently, he fights alongside raiden again.speaking of raiden, i miss clements coments about his actions in mk 9. they where really good. rage mode on!
