Not exactly sure how intiteled Works; are we seposed to give them at least 1 of each item we have (1 building material, 1 food, 1 blanket, 1 knife) or do they care about only fiew of those items. Also, is this only limited to 1 location, or if someone on other location gets a splint, they want it, too? And, is there any way to get someone who is for example protective but is a coward?I also have gotten a female child that is protective ... can already imagin this little girl taking a wolf down all by herself  .Thanks for this nice update, Aprone!

@Ambro, it's not a full sized trampoline, only a small one. I run on the spot and put one hand on the wall. being as the surface is springy I can lift my knees up which means the running is far harder than usual, I then do various exercises with a set of hand weights as I said which gets a good workout. A rowing machine is certainly an option, though personally I do rather like the variety of a 10 minute run lus then various things with the weights.

Lol I have so many ideas for this game! One would be to have lots of items you can throw in the trash. Which one you get for each shot is random. Each item has a name, as well as its own sounds for various types of hits and misses. Some items could have special properties, such as losing points if you miss a shot with something made of glass, and it hits the floor and shatters, with appropriate sound effects of course!Another idea would be a two-player mode where you play against the computer. You start near the left edge of the grid and your opponent starts near the right edge. Whenever a player makes a shot, the trash can moves in the direction of his opponent's end of the field. E.G. if you make a shot, the trash can moves to the right, if your opponent makes a shot, it moves to the left. The first person to move the trash can to his opponent's end of the field wins!

Hello, I've been playing the demo of this game for quite a while, not being able to purchase it due to lack of a cc, but all I'll say is, awesome! A few of my friends have the full version and when I heard them playing, mind you they had main chars in the level 30's or 40's at that time, the thing I found quite unusual is when the police are reloading, it sounds like they're reloading the other type of gun  because they keep jumping around like crazy people, it's like shikshik ah! ah! I was laughing my ass off when I heard that. In terms of the actual game, the voice acting is amazing, as is the mixture of side scrolling/rpg/character management. Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for the heads up guys.  I'm looking into that bug now.The entitled characters will only worry about blankets, furs, and coats, and only with people in the same location.  So if your entitled guy doesn't have a coat, you can give someone a coat in a different location and he won't be upset (because he won't know about it, haha).I made the game catch certain trait combinations so that they won't happen.  Protective coward is on that small list, so you shouldn't ever have anyone like that.  It would be a little funny, but also sort of a waste because they'd kind of cancel each other out.

Awesome aprone, I look forward to trying the new updates. Actually having contradictory traits might be slightly fun, say when your character has two traits that cancel each other out, each time a situation that affects them comes up a coin is flipped, so roughly half the time  you get one, half the time another. Thus, half the time your protective coward runs away like a big fat wuss, the other time they're a tough as nales fighter .Actually a few traits like this with random operation time might be amusing in general and also realistic, sinse in reality there are many people who dither around and are useless most of the time but come into their own in a crysis, or visa versa of course . I'm glad the difficulty has had a bit of a f
 ix tthough, sinse it'll be nice to try the game out without everyone dying of hyperthermia.

Hi. Well I actually updated my version to 0.9B and the save bug was solved, but now when you're gonna buy items,, all of them are the same: Towing chains in my case. That means that all the items in the list are called towing chains and all of them are priced the same. I don't wanna continue selling only one type of items, which I never introduced in my store before  I hope you've understood what I mean, the list of items is still showing, but all its elements are from the same item.

Hi all,I am getting close to releasing a multiplayer FPS with a focus on fast paced PVP combat, similar to the Quake or Unreal Tournament series.Right now it supports death match, team death match, and capture the flag.It also has a single player target practice mode to help people adapt to aiming with the mouse, and a learn map mode to give them practice navigating maps.I'm looking for sound designers interested in donating their time to find or create sounds for the game.The initial version will have 5 weapons.I've referenced Swamp sounds that would have worked well for each weapon so that you have an idea of what I'm looking for.1. The hammer, a melee weapon, similar to Swamp's hammer sounds.2. The pistol, the weakest ranged weapon, similar to Swamp's glock 19 sounds.3. The mini gun, this is a machine gun, the high rate of fire makes it easier to lock on to enemies and reduce how often you miss,
  similar to Swamp's Vulcan sounds.4. The flak cannon, shoots a spread of flak, this makes it harder to miss because the side rays will still hit the enemy if your accuracy is at all close, deals a lot of damage up close because more of the flak hits your enemy, similar to Swamp's anzio sounds.5. I agree regarding to the translator. It's crap when it won't work... So having the menus translated would really be helpful. Regarding the high jump shues,: SPOIRLER:you just need two of the shues you can get in stage 6/something which I don't remember, where you need to fly through the level to get those.

I'd like to be just one of the I'm sure many blind people who help to test this firmware and make it as accessible as it possibly can be. I have the same dream as the rest of you and that is to be able to sit down in front of my ps4 or any other game console and be able to pick up and play games without any sighted assistance. Okay, new update posted that solves the file loading bug.  Grryfindore this should let you load your game and continue making a killing selling those towing chains!  ROFL!  Just kidding of course, and I literally laughed out loud when I saw how much profit they made you in your monthly statement.  Don't spend that $2.80 all in once place good sir.  By the looks of your monthly statement, you seem to be totally destroying the AI competition!  I'm wondering if I need to sit down and rewrite the AI soon, to hopefully make them a bit better.  They weren't all that impressive originally, and I don't think they fully understand how to take advantage of the store extra features.  They build them, yes, but they don't really think and plan out what to make and why, like how a real player will.  Hmm, I'll 
 brainstorm a bit.Grryfindore, doesn't it just figure that the 3 items people stole were the most expensive things you were selling?!  I chuckled at that too.  Thousands of dollars lost on the greenhouses and apocalypse pack.  I was about to say that must string, but I realize that really that isn't bad at all considering this is a whole month summed up.  Do you already have anti theft measures added onto your store, because only 3 shoplifters is quite good.Changes from 0.9 to 0.9b- Fixed a bug that prevented the game from correctly loading saved files.

For iOS accessibility, Failbetter Games told me they were not sure if VO  would be supported.Interestingly, a friend of mine from Indiana, tried FL with System Access and Window-eyes. Both have no problems, particularly with using the travel map.With Chromevox on my Acer Chromebook 11, although i have to use the touchpad to find items on the map and to click on them, everything else works fine with no issues.Ok, the inventory could use a refrresh to be honest, but everything else is good.I actually wrote an NVDA ticket on the subject. as a fan and developer of ultrapower, I strongly recommend do not ever play on joseph weakland's server. It is full of spamming admins, that like to beep, upload music, etc. THey also will move you, make more admins, edit your invintory, and randomly ban and demote each other. I have taken it off the list because it does not meet all three requirements. 24/7 uptime, it has. Fast speeds, it's tollarable. Good player experience? Not one bit.

Whell, if you pressed enter on English channel your channel should be English, and it is English by defoult, anyway. But channels are there, that doesn't mean people Will use them. There is not an AI that would automaticly send your message to whatever language channel it should go to, so if people speak spanish in english channel, that's nothing new.Each pot can hold 10 water. it is nice to have at least around 50 pots, my personal preferance is 80.Well, if you dropped 25 branches or cut down a tree and made a wood tile, then it should work, unless you maybe weren't standing on the tile where wood is?No, there is no way to turn log in/out alerts off currently.

Usually once I managed to get 80 or 90k and have paid off my starter loan (which usually happens sometime in january of the first year), I just load up on all the extra features at once and completely obliterate everyone from then on, unless I do something stupid like not watching how price trends are going.

Before I lost my vision, I used to stay in shape by swimming a mile every week. Unfortunately, the only swimming pool I have access to is the one owned by the apartment complex I live in and they won't allow me to use their pool for safety and liability reasons, so they claim.Because the grocery store next door closed, I'll be moving next month to a new apartment that is next door to a grocery store. The new apartment will be almost twice as big as the apartment I'm currently in, that should leave plenty of room for some kind of exercise equipment. The downside is that this new apartment complex is smaller than the one I'm currently in so they don't have a swimming pool. But considering that they'd probably have the same objections about me using their pool, it's probably not that big a loss.Even if I had access to a pool, I'd still want something else for those times of the year when it's too cold for swimming.
 My second choice is some kind of exercise equipment, preferably one that provides a reasonably good upper and lower body workout.I have used them in the past when nothing else was available, but I've never really cared much for free weights. Thus my preference for some kine of exercise equipment.My goals are pretty simple, I'm not looking to be muscle bound like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I just want a way to maintain a healthy level of fitness, without a lot of fuss or equipment.For a while I considered a Bowflex Tred climber, but it has an electronic control panel that is made like the control panel on a microwave. To find the controls, I'd have to have a sighted person put some kind of self stick buttons on them, and then there'd be the problem of reading the displays. The electronic control panel was just one reason why I eventually decided against the Tread Climber. The other reason was that I had doubts about its ability to exercise the 
 upper body. From when I could still see, it has what resembles ssnow ski poles to exercise the arms. The way they were attached to the Tread Climber, they looked like an option rather than an integral part of the exercise. They're also quite expensive, starting at around 2,000 US Dollars.So far, a rowing machine or something similar seems to be my best option.

Grryfindore, I'm glad you're enjoying the game instead of studying.  My plan to turn the blind community into a group of school drop-outs is coming along nicely.  Aprone twiddles his fingers together while muttering "good... good...".Mirage, you should be find using any names you want.  If I officially added brand name items to a commercial game it could be an issue, but anything you guys add would be considered an unofficial mod at best.  That means you can use anything and no one could ever complain.  It would be just like how people can make star wars themed mods for games and not have any copyright issues to deal with.

Thanks Stewie.New version is posted that should solve the bug.  I also made a few AI changes for the Normal and Hard difficulty settings.  Who knew there were so many business tycoons floating around this community... I have to let the computers start with a head start on those difficulties just so you guys don't stomp their faces into the mud so quickly.  ROFL!Changes from 0.9b to 0.9c- Fixed a bug that was causing the warehouse to only show 1 item.- Normal and Hard mode now start the computer AI players out with a larger store than you.  They may also start out with a random store extra.  Basically everyone seems to be kicking the crap out of the current AI opponents so I wanted to make them a bit more of a challenge on the Normal and Hard difficulties.

Hi, I just started using Vmouse and I can't use the navigation keys like in the tutorial. When I try to it just says > or M and does nothing else. It will read the current line but that is it. It will not move to objects when pressint the function kes described in the tutorial. And when navigating by words it moves through the NVDA speech settings. Does anyone know how to fix this and how to get this program working correctly.

Unfortunately, right now my Goldwave isn't working for some reason, it's really upsetting, lots of things I can't do that I wish I could be doing, but I have been collecting good, free sounds in this vein for a long time, so if you set up a DB folder or somehting for this project, than I'd be happy to provide sounds that won't get you in hot water at all, and do some cutting on them, which I can probably do at least.I'll defer to Sam on actual mixing, I know how good he is, but I'd love to get on bored with this as much as possible with the current state of my abilities. By the way, love TB and can't wait to see what you come up with for this!

There are anti discrimination laws here in the US, and if I wanted to I could take them to task and gain access to the pool.The trouble is, I can easily understand where they are coming from. I can easily imagine situations that would be caused by my blindness that wouldn't be safe for me or other swimmers.If I owned the space to do it, I'd get one of those endless pools. If you've never heard of them, think of a treadmill you swim in instead of jog on.

Thanks for that, however, I notice that the lists are oriented toward DVDs available in the UK and I'm in the US so they are of limited value.I don't generally use my PC to play DVDs, so the only program I currently have is Windows Media Player which, from experience, isn't as accessible as I'd like. Are there any DVD playing apps for Windows that are readily accessible? In case it matters, the screen reader I use is JAWS.

I would imagine your wings would get tired eventually in that case. Oh, if only there was an accessible version of Kingdom Hearts or the Final Fantasy series... *sighs wistfully*I'm sure the Japanese games are great, but as has already been mentioned, getting all the right addons and other things set up correctly just to play them sounds like a whole lot more trouble than it's really worth.

For the stats system, you might want to get an average distance from can that way when people post their stuff,you can be sure they're not just standing 1 tile away, lol. On easy, it takes a long time to get the shield, and I think the can doesn't move as much or something.

Well, apparently Google is blocking people who use Instant Translate too frequently now, and since "too frequently" would pretty much trigger during a single cut scene, things just got harder on the Japanese front. (Anyone who can work with a programming language with better non-ascii support wanna write a clipboard logger, so we can make a stab at mass-translating? Meh, maybe there are clipboard-logging programs out there already, and we just need to repurpose one? I tried one of these, but character encoding issues were too troublesome.)I think Kingdom Hearts has a ton to do with how I went from terrible browser games to terrible audio games, and I would pay for an accessible version in a Heartbeat. ... Or pretty much anything from Square, come to think of it.

Swimming a liabilitynut's nuts! indeed I completed a deal of basic scuba training as a teenager so god knows on that one, if it were the Uk you could take someone to the cleaners over that. Then again, annoyingly for various personal reasons due to my genophobia swimming has been out for me for years even when I've stayed somewhere with a pool, though I am a little jealous of efectively having a pool in the place where you live even so. A lot of running and stair machines don't do upper body it's true. The reason however I use free hand weights is that sinse my mum is a physio therapist, I've been able to work out five or six different exercises with them that actually do give an all around work out to different muscle groups, though I do the ten minute sprint to get some aerobic exercise in there as well. I do it partly for personal fitness, and mostly because that actually helps considerably with singing, indeed you'd be surprise
 d just how much muscle it takes to sing (not all of Pavaroti was fat).I'll also say that while I'm not exactly Hulk Hogan myself, I'm not really wee willy weedy either and once I start exercising I do tend to build up muscles, as indeed I am at the moment.

I'm not entirely sure how multiplayer would work for this type of game.  It's tricky because people pause and unpause the game at their own pace, but for multiplayer to work you'd need to keep people on the same game day.

Most of the menus sound enough like English, you can just play it using the Japanese. BK2 has translated menus, but the story is in Japanese. If you want to read the stories of the first 2 games, use the pimsleur lessons, and most of the story should be understandable. I finished the pimsleur lessons, and I was able to beat all 3 games with no use of instant translate.

Hello,I beat this game today. I was also disappointed by the boss. Thor wasn't nearly has hard as I would've expected him to be. He may have been a little more aggressive then other enemies, but he is definitely beatable. The only level I couldn't stand was the rooftop chase, which took me almost twenty attempts to complete. Other than that, the game was a lot of fun and I hope to see a sequel in the near future.

For now I use a program called youtube-dl. It's a command line progra so it's a bit more on the complicated side. You can set it up to convert directly to mp3 but I prefer to use ffmpeg to extract the audio directly instead of transcoding to another format. But if you're not as picky as I am, you don't have to do it that way.While Pontes Media Downloader is good, I find it has trouble with large playlists. It will often just stop downloading after 20 or so videos. It also doesn't allow you to customize file names (I prefer having upload date at the end of the file name so I know how old the ideo is, but that's just me). Youtube-dl can do this although it doesn't look at neat as the old DVD Video Soft downloader did it.I'll have to check the classic versions of the DVD converters. Since they've pretty much abandoned accessibility a while back, the fact that they've gone completely inaccessible is really no surprise to me
 . The last version I really liked was 2.x, once 3.x hit, everything changed. The interface is full of "get the pro version of this program, get a rocket subscription..." yada yada yada, and would frequently make the focus jump into the ad windows. Many things were either unlabeled or in weird places, and the ability to select individual videos from playlists was hindered because of accessilibity issues, which got so bad over time that I just gave up on it. I've e-mailed them multiple times and they always give the typical response, "We apologize for the convenience, we're working on it." The optional screen reader support which was eventually added never did a damn thing. I haven't checked it recently but yeah. I wouldn't bet your hopes on the classic version being fully accessible, it's probably just a re-hash of the finnocky 3.x interface.

Hey all,Yes, this is quite a good game, especially since we get it for nothing. I unfortunately am unable to spare any cash to donate in exchange for wives, er, lives, nor do I have the want or need to commit such a betrayal upon my GF . There have been questions about moving, how to run etc. The game treats your finger like a virtual joystick. The more you push forward, the faster you will go. Same with turning left or right. You can also move your finger right or left as you're walking, like moving a joystick diagonally on a physical controller. It's not the best way of movement for blind people, but whatever. As for pinching the screen, all you're doing is putting two fingers on the screen parallel to each other going across the width of the device, about two inches apart is best, and sliding them together. You should hear a chunk sound, and the world s
 hould fade a bit. Hold that position for as long as you need.The rest of this post contains seen specific information. Read on at your own risk.People have been asking about the alley seen, and I will just say this. You need to walk fairly slow, but at the same time, watch where you're going. Don't get lost or veer off course, or you run the risk of walking into the arms of King Thor's men. Most of the time, you have room to get a bit turned around, but in places like the cliff seen, the lava seen and the alley seen, you'd better pay attention.I have a question of my own. What is my goal after being locked up? I tried walking around crashing into random things, seeing if I could interact with them, but all I managed to find out was that the guards really, really don't like the prisoners making noise lol.Oh yes, and I remember another question that was asked. The horseback chase is pretty simple. You are riding through a forest, trying
  to dodge trees and outrun the soldiers. Listen to Louise. Swipe right to turn right and swipe left to turn left. Swipe down to duck and up to jump. You will only need to jump once, and Louise will give you two warnings before that happens. Note that these aren't the slow dragging swipes you're used to in this game, but rather the normal quick swipe you would use to move to the next or previous object with voiceover.That's all the yammering from me.
