Simple answer. If accessibility going to be a deal breaker, then get the xbox1. The ps4 tts, while less sluggish and more responsive, reads less than the xbox1. Narrator reads more of the interface as Microsoft already had a framework for building text-to-speech, so most of the console is read out loud. Game menus are not read by either console, because they are graphical images with embedded text, not plain text that's processable by the console.

For the last B, I really think that this is a bug. I tried C, D and G just to be sure it's B and it doesn't work either.This pack is quite buggy. Bugs found so far:* Rhythm spell, the first B of the final ABBA is always wrong* Escape in rhythm spell let still the final sound before the explosion play* Bug in the level selection menn. For this one it's even stranger for me, I now see my super in Rhythm spell, the next level with the monsters has never been played and the two next ones are available. I'm effectively stuck at memory 2.

holy. crap.  I did it.  beat scary demon dragon,  but got lucky, endless curse, took 35 damage,  he kept regening, 29.  got lucky and froze him.  he unfroze, but by that point he had like 7 percent health,  took out all but my 57 banyardon,  one earthquake knocked him for 10.  the 47k exp off of that was nice, and banyardon is now level 61.but of course he was only level, 50 I believe.what's his level in the post game.and no danger of me using my gamanet, as my fyst is holding it, and he's in the transportal, this way I wouldn't use it by accident.so off to get the last key,  and get the last mythic. and holy crap this game is so worth the 40 bucks.  crud, I think pokemon yellow when it first came out was like 50 bucks,  and I got it when it first came out. so.  yay.been at smashing stuff for the past 90 minutes, had to reset the yanen fight a few times, to kee
 p as many as I could, and  lost to demon dragon the first time,  so had to do it all again.  not cute.  but it's half past midnight, so I'm going to sleep now rofl.and need to quit crying happy tears lol.oh and your char is actually 13 in the game.  based off something yanen said.

Americranian,I'll raise a few points here to counter a few of your own, but not in any specific order.1. Keys are earned, and if stolen, there are very likely one hell of a lot of authorities who'd all pile in and kill/stop/arrest you if you tried that even once. The stadium challenge is officially sanctioned, you're not going out into the woods to find some random hermit who has a key. That said, it's probably very, very secure.2. All games, bar none, have rules. Most of your questions boil down to "why can't I break the rules, or why can't other people break the rules?". If a game has no rules, it's not really a game, it's a free-for-all. I mean, let's ask a few questions of our own.Why can't we buy/make/use/find explosives to blow through walls and ruin all the mazes in a tricky area?Why can't we send out all our manamon at once against one single manamon just to ensure victory?Why can't we be the bad guy and kill, lie and cheat our way to victory?Why can't we genetically alter manamon so they have whatever stats we want?You know what the answer to all of my questions, and most of yours, is? Because it would break the game.The game has rules to actually make it a game. To make it a sort of reality wherein certain laws aren't broken. If you start screwing with those, it's just not a game anymore.3. Octoross is a villain. Villains are often arrogant. When he beats you and knocks you out, he has what he wants and doesn't think he needs to kill you, so certain of his own imminent success. When he hears you scuffling with the admins, he figures they're underlings for a reason, and the three of them are bound to take you down. But he's waiting and ready when and if they don't. When he uses like nine manamon against six, he's bending and breaking some of the rules of the game in a way that w
 ould get him in trouble if he was caught. But the two times he does this, there's really no one else around, is there?4. When your manamon are not fighting, I imagine they're in capsules created by the mananets, much like a trainer keeps pokeballs on their belt or in a pack. This is a sort of suspended animation or stasis field. Really, it's quite barbaric if you think about it. Pokemon, manamon, the whole works. You go out, take creatures out of their natural habitat, imprison them and then essentially make them fight for your amusement.5. The main character is supposed to be between 10 and 14 or thereabouts. Which is funny, because one minute he's acting his age, and the next he's talking about stigmatization, which is something I've never, ever heard, say, a twelve-year-old talk about.End of grumble.Now, regarding Drabao:His attack is most useful, as he gets Wing Slash, Blaze Rampage and eventually Draco Breaker, whi
 ch are all same-type attacks eventually and which all use the attack stat. Hits like a truck, actually. Really do wish he had Dragon Fang though. Hell, maybe he does and I forgot, but I don't think so. I think he gets some underwhelming special-based random elemental breath thing that would never ever fly in a competitive metagame. And Dragon Burst, which is guaranteed 40 damage (great at the beginning of the game, terrible past about stadium 4, and dead weight in the metagame of tomorrow).And yeah. Regarding those lasers, get into the southern path by stepping east once, then immediately south, then immediately go east. And you're damn near done after that, by the way, so have fun. Haha.

SPOILERSIn the Shadow Kingdom where you have three paths with a laser  firing in front of them there is actually a fourth path; you need to go all the way south just before the laser and where you will hear that little bit of wall just below the southern dead end; there is about a step or two to the south where the laser is firing and that will open into another pathway going east. HTHSo just beat the Shadow Kingdom boss on the first try; Pandourbit carried the entire fight. He didn't die once and Unending curse negated his regen the entire time. I also gave him a Holy Necklace which I think kept Oblivion demon or something like that from hitting him at all. My team going in was:FauntozaurDramegon Merembear Frenrir JimitronPandourbitall level 55 or 56 or so.

Hi guys.Here's a question I've had on my mind for a while now. I've made some observations, but I wanted to reach out to a broader audience. For those of you with college degrees, were you able to find employment? Was it relevant to your field of study?To those of you without a degree, how are your employment prospects? Do you think a degree would make a difference in whether or not employers would be willing to consider your application?On a side note, in your opinion, are we less likely as blind people to get the job than the average sightie?For the record, I do not currently have a degree, and I'm not quite sure if finishing college would be a worthwhile option.

Any Arcade game collectors out there?

Hi guys.Just wanted to see if there are any fell blind folks interested in collecting arcade games. I currently have a twin-and-a-half Daytona USA setup, a Galaga cabinet, and am interested in getting a Neo Geo MVS and Capcom CPS2.I've enjoyed going to arcades ever since I was young, and I always thought it would be neat to have an actual arcade cabinet in my house. Working on them has been fun as well. One of my Daytona USA cabinets had a bad sound board, and another has what I suspect is a bad sound amplifier. Actually being able to swap some boards around and getting 2 fully functional cabinets without sight was really cool. Also, navigating the test menu was slightly difficult, but TapTapSee and Be My Eyes came to the rescue.

Why are you trying to turn this into a game that it isn't? The point was to make a game so that even if there are ways, people would have an experience based on an rpg like the sighted to. What would be the point of having keys anyway if your goal is to just force your way into everything, taking cheap shots and killing whoever is in your way? There would be no point for anything even to battle or even train.I get that you're I guess trying to not make it a clone type game, but then where is the point of the world? The creatures? I can't figure out what you want here.

on shadow kingdom floor 5, ok, yes indeed I'm totally lost.  ran past the floor from the start,  past the healing machine,  the lasers, electricity, and all the guards.  and,  on a long stretch of hall, where there's the laser on your right blocking 3 paths, a top middle and bottom, and each runs me into a wall.  past the laser, which.  is kind of wierd.  so.  am I missing something?  or is there an item there I'm supposed to use? because in other spots with the 3 halls, 2 usually lead to a dead end.  but this time, all 3 do, or am I missing something in the walls.  I've taken it slow and not heard any single  space openings, unless the laser is masking something?

things that i thought and want to ask.this will contain spoilers, FYI.1. say you are attacking a trainer, why the battle is over when his or hers manamon are dead? the trainer could say: "screw you!" and attack you. it would make sense, wouldn't it?2. all of those manamon attacking you, but only you, what about other people who just stand there?3. how old are you in the game?4. when you meet octiross for the first time and you lose, he knocks you out, why wouldn't he just backstab you later? or hell, even shoot you in  the  head?5. in the factory, when you enter, all people are like: your new? ok. noone asks you for the shadow warrior ID, it feels like your not the first one to enter the building, hahahahha.6. where are your manamon in between battles?7. if your manamon in some sortof mananet before you battle, same thing  with your foe, cant you just attack them before they have a chants to summon 
 there own manamon?8. why do you have to battle the stadians to get the key? i mean come on... (read this from your point of view.)you enter the stadian, looking around for your target. "aah, there she is", you smile to yourself. odin, one of the 7 leaders. everyone before you had fought her for the key before, but this time it would be different.you position yourself in the front row so you can see her better, another challenger walks up to her, they exchange greetings and the battle begins.you lean forward so not to miss your chants, one shot, that's all it would take, but if you miss, it would alert her.at last, her back is turned to you, she's busy  giving orders to her manamon, you think. you draw the dart that you have bot from the market. "a nice dart, it would put anyone to sleep", you can hear the shopkeepers voice in your head, well, you will see if he's right or not.you throw the dart! it hits! for

Yes, train points are exactly like EVs in Pokémon, except here you decide where they go instead of having to control what you fight, which makes them infinitely easier to deal with. Not that EVs were hard if you knew what you were doing, but still.I don't see how that thing with the dust would make reaching Irroadium easier where it matters. If you get defeated and sent back to a hotel, you'd have to enter the Shadow Kingdom again to use a dust, at which point the dust would take you to where you just entered. It's an interesting oversight or side effect of the way the code works, but sadly I can think of no practical uses for it.The trading question has been answered here before, try doing a search for trading, or trade.

Okay, so, I think I may have figured out something about trainer points. I think they are similar to the EVS in pokemon, don't quote me on this but I believe that's why you don't get them if you level more then 1 time. And that makes sense it also stopps people from cheating their way up levels, it will give you manamon crap statts if you do. Although I've been saving my training points for the most part cause I got lucky with my manamon and most of them rate well with the stat guy. I figured i would jsut wait til they were close to max level before deciding which stat I want to dump them in to or if I just wanna do the all around thing.Also could I get a list of the manamon that I need to trade to evolve? I would like to know ahead of time so that way when I catch them I can train them up a bit and find someone to trade with. Also When I can get to the breeing thing I would like to breed my starter and will trade the baby for the other starter manamon, s
 o I will post when i am able to do that. I am working on completing my manapedia.

Hay aaron Baker, I found a bug in the game, or maybe it's a dirty little secret?If I activate the chamber of hatred in the shadow kingdom and walk all the way to the mythical in their, then walk back out to the shadow kingdom, a dedalis dust will sendme back to the chamber of hatred.Is this supposed to happen so that players can get back to the fight easier, or have I indeed stumbled on a bug?Later!

The port to connect is 23 for all five games, and the host name is whatever game you want to connect to, achaea.com for achaea, lusternia.com for lusternia, so on. If you ever want to play midkemia, there's a slight change in the site name, midkemiaonline.com. I currently play Lusternia and Aetolia, and I could use more people to RP with.

Hey everyone.@Trajectory, thanks a ton for the offer, but I figured something out that should work quite nicely.At the rest of you, I now have my audio playthrough/walkthrough of Manamon as a BTSync folder. To access it, you'll need a secret. The secret for this folder is: "B5N4ZX6JT7PON2CHMA64ZU2OGMD3GSBKN", without the quotes. After talking to a few people, it seems like the BTSync folder for it is the way to go. Please note that I am unable to help you setup BTSync, sorry.I hope that this will now reach more people. Ipconfig with its various switches is quite useful. But I'm sure nobody wants to hear about that.However, while this is probably old news to pretty much everyone as well, I do rather enjoy the switches that can do useful things with Skype.For example, cd into the directory where Skype is contained, and then, after typing skype.exe, make sure to type a space, then /secondary. This will open another instance of Skype, where you can log into another account, if you have multiple accounts. You can also do /minimized to start your current Skype session minimized, also /username:your username, and then /password:your password to log in with the account. Sure, it's a lot more typing than just launching the desktop app, but it's still neat that you can do these things. You can also do /shutdown in order to end a running Skype instance.So an example would look like this:cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe /minimizedNice topic, I

It's because (excuse my language) the idiotic administrator of the entire server does not know how to properly administrate anything and thinks that we can just "talk about it with the mods themselves" (when the mods that usually ban people are non-English speaking mods, so we can't exactly hold a conversation with them)). I don't mean to be rude, but this is the (I think) third unfair ban that I've seen. It's quite stupid, honestly. It just shows that not everyone can be trusted when it comes to the administration of a game. Oh, and 6,939 days? That's about 19.01 years. This is why I'm pissed. The playroom won't be around after that ban is gone. That means that Tyson is being banned from ever enjoying the playroom again, all because of some stupid admin who thinks that they can do whatever they want. (If this is not so, please give
  me a very, very good explanation on why this happened.) If this is not corrected (the reason "abuse" means nothing to me and does not say why Tyson was banned) then I will take matters into my own hands, and, believe me, I can get quite nasty when that happens. The I am not a robot checkbox doesn't require any unscrambling on your part, just check it. The only thing needing scrambling is the picture. Giovani, keep in mind that unless someone knows otherwise, the webvisum team are not actively maintaining the addon which explains why only the tweaked resigned addon works, and who knows how long it will. That's the only reason it's still running today, is because it was resigned.

Has the text to speech feature improved since firware update 2.5? what does it read now? home screen game menus? etc? Any help is apreciated. CD in to the directory you want to delete the files from.2. Write the following: Del space and then the name of the file you want to delete and press enter.Note 1: Remember, you must write the full name of a file, including its extention. For example: book1.mp3.Note2: Th
 ere are switches you can use with the slash character after the del command but I haven't used them so am unsure as to what they would do.Exciting tip! Guess what? You can delete a lode of files within a folder that have the same extention by using the folllowing:1. CD into the directory you want to delete the files from.2. Write the following: Del space star dot mp3 for example and press enter. Poof! All the MP3 files will be gone! This is a very useful command as it is very quick and very easy to use once you get the hang of it.Note 1: The star or asterisk is known as a whild card.Why would I want to delete multiple files at once?Great question! no clue about it's stats, but the past mons I've breed, all have 13 hp, and 7 attack, def, magic attack magic defense and speed.  so   you're not going to be able to tell by looking at it's breed stats.  I say save before you breed it,  breed it, take it to the guy in hazel dale in the hotel,  and he'll give you a good idea of it's stats. if you don't like it,  go back to that save.

ok.  I'm finally on the fifth floor, and got past the guards to heal,  got past more guards, and now I'm near a laser, with 3, single space paths off of it,  like  top path, middle path, bottom, but when I went in all three,  they're all dead ends.  so is this just to trick me?  did I go the wrong way?and holy crap, am I done with this place yet, oh wait, no from what I've read, there's 2 more floors to go.  and hell on floor 7.

I personally prefer to stock up on healing items and take the shadow kingdom in one run, having to slip past all the hazards a second time is something I don't mind paying to not have to do. Remembering where all the healing spots are would of course be beneficial, since a couple of times I used a bunch of items at the end of a floor only to discover oops, there's a healing machine at the very beginning of the next one, but gold isn't super hard to come by, and it's not like healing items go bad, if I use less than I think I will, I can always use them later.Catfish: There are more puzzles like that, but they're not all in a row. You have to pass through other rooms in between stone puzzle rooms.

Hello,In looking for backing tracks for my tts preschool album, I found some guy going by the name of full rare albums who uploaded the older wee sing albums from 1978-1985. Different from the albums available on ITunes, these early albums featured creators pamila con beel and susan hagen nip singing the songs, as opposed to the childrens chorus that sang them in the newer albums.The albums uploaded as of this writing are: Wee sing silly songs, Wee sing and play, Wee sing childrens songs and fingerplays and Wee sing around the campfire.

@Luciana, that is a genius idea! The gifts should be removed, but instead of them, there should be boxes, like when the gifts are on. The boxes should be on most maps, (though not on oceans I guess, it would be a pain to search those. Then people would need to walk around to get gifts. Or maybe not all of the maps, just a fiew main ones, or else nobody would get gifts.Quick edit: the client keeps kicking me out every 2 or 3 minutes, even when there's no lag. I'm sorry but I have to laugh at Amazon being accessible, I've given up on their supposedly screen reader optimized web site because too many things on it don't work, plus it limits your access to features of the site. So I now use their main site. It too has accessibility issues, but there they are half expected, and there are work arounds, unlike with the screen reader optimized site, where you don't expect them and the only work around is to use the main site.

It took me far to long to pin down where the source code respository was, they certainly have it nestled away for some reason. For the curious its over here through the "Online SVN" link. It seems to be written in C/C++ with OpenAL and Vorbis audio. There's a description of the game here on wikipedia, and a full let's play series here for those who want to get at least some idea of what its like.I'm familiar with the series all the way back to the original Descent, but as far as accessibility, maybe? I know about Audio Quake, Swamp, and a few other first person shooters, but I don't think anything like this has ever been attempted. It would be tricky as Free Space 2 is a full 3D first person dog fight simulator in open space, requiring a lot of situational 
 awareness of adjacent objects and quick reflexes, not to mention a lot of complex controls for orientation with thrust, horrizontal and vertical turning, rolling, shields, hull integrity, power distribution settings between engines, shields, weapons, targetting, etc.A modified compass system like in my Minecraft prototype with added roll angle might help with 3D orientation, with lock on targetting and volume or pitch to represent proximity to the center of the screen for finding and orienting on targets. Things like the radar could be a Sonified map of objects in range with filters for types, etc. The amount of time and work involved to make something like this happen wouldn't be trivial, although because its open source its odds are slightly better than with other proprietary copyrighted works that are prone to lawsuits and clear funding restrictions.

We've got a few technical approaches here already, so I'll try tossing in a very low tech one.  It won't be as accurate, but might help get the idea across.You're probably familiar with the idea of breaking a circle up into 360 degrees.  90 degrees would be 1 quarter of the entire circle, 180 is half, and so forth.  There is nothing magical about the number 360 though.  That number was chosen because it is what is called an "anti-prime", meaning it can be easily cut up into smaller pieces.  For example, you can easily cut it in half (without getting messy decimals), you could cut it into thirds, 4ths, 6ths... and the list goes on.  If everyone had decided long ago to use 777 degrees for a circle, then you'd run into messy decimals all the time.  You could easily cut it into 3rds or sevenths, and probably more, but you get the idea that it's not as friendly of a number when you know people will need t
 o chop it up often.The reason I went on about the "anti-prime" 360 number is because we specifically picked that number because it's easy for humans to use.  For the computer, almost always it uses 6.28 (pi times 2) for a complete circle.  Instead of the word degrees, we call it radians so that no one gets them mixed up.  5 degrees is super tiny since it is only about 1% of the way around a 360 degree circle, but 5 radians is quite large since it is about 80% of a 6.28 radian circle.  Hopefully that helps explain why we don't even call them the same thing (radians verses degrees).Computers don't care about long decimal places so there is no reason they'd "want" to use either degrees or radians more than the other, plus many useful mathematical formulas are written in radians already, so computers are just better off going with radians.  Haha, now of course I've left out a lot of mathematical and tech
 nical reasons for why computers use the radian way instead of degrees, but my goal is to help this all make sense to someone starting out, not helping someone write their research paper.  Now let me move on to the sine, cosine, and tangent stuff.Imagine yourself sitting in the middle of the room on the floor, holding a 100 centimeter long pole.  You have the pole sticking straight out in front of yourself on the ground, and we have decided that out in front of you will be what we call zero degrees.  That means if you spin the pole around and hold it to your right, that would be 90 degrees, pointing it behind you is 180, and to your left is 270.  As it continues the spin is reaches 359 just before it is once again back exactly straight forward, which is 360 but is also 0 because we're technically starting over in the same spot.  Zero an
 d 360 both mean the same thing in degrees, just like 10 degrees is actually the same as 370 degrees.  You can even do negative degrees meaning you spin around in the other direction!  Negative 90 would be you starting at the beginning (in front) and spinning it to be at your left side.  I can tell I'm moving kind of fast on this part because you might already be comfortable with this and I'm just wasting time, lol.So back to you sitting on the ground with this pole.  I'm in the room helping you and we're going to make a chart.  As you spin the pole around it forms a circle, and for each degree around the circle we want to figure a few things out.  We want to know how far over and how far up the end of the pole is away from you.  So when you are at zero degrees it's easy, the end of the pole is just 100 centimeters forward.  When at 90 degrees the end of the pole is 100 centimeters to the left.  The 4 main a
 ngles (0, 90, 180, and 270) are very easy.At 45 degrees the pole is halfway between being straight ahead, and being all the way to your left.  Because it is halfway between, someone might assume the end of the pole is 50 ahead and 50 over but that is not correct.  We measure and find that the end of the pole is about 70 centimeters forward, and 70 to the left.  So on our chart we write down that 45 degrees equals 70 up and 70 left.  We spin the pole a little further to 60 degrees and measure again.  This time we measure that we go only 50 centimeters up and 87 centimeters to the left.  So each time we move the pole we carefully measure and then fill in our findings on our chart.  If we spent enough time, we would have measurements filled in for all 360 degrees.  Hopefully this makes sense so far.Now the next day we don't have the pole anymore, but need to answer some questions.  We need to know how far left the end of a
  100 centimeter pole Would be, if it were pointed at 60 degrees.  Well that's easy now.  Instead of finding a pole, positioning it on the floor, and measuring, now we can just use our chart.  Easy as pie we find 60 degrees on the chart and see the answer is 87.  Notice that we only asked for half of the information because at this moment we only needed to know how far over it went, left and

@Luciana, that is a genius idea! The gifts should be removed, but instead of them, there should be boxes, like when the gifts are on. The boxes should be on most maps, (though not on oceans I guess, it would be a pain to search those. Then people would need to walk around to get gifts. Or maybe not all of the maps, just a fiew main ones, or else nobody would get gifts.

Greetings.A good idea about pets or what ever, agreed with ya Kia, about speedhack thing, my people also are getting that, even can't enter in the game, even after reinstalling, not sure what's the issue. Hope your pc will be repaired soon Mayana, and, guys, why can't we get back to the old system of collecting gifts?   When someone just found a gift box for example, and all were getting gifts!   Of corse it could be modifyed somehow, but this thing might force people to move, search, and doing some other activitys in the game while searching, not just staying like a statue.

At Lucas, the UAC dialog is still somewhat broken with NVDA. if the slider is set to 33%, nothing is read when UAC pops up. I know from reading the messages on the NVDA list that they're working on a fix for that, but for now it's still not completely repaired yet.

You'll get something like 150-200 gold per fight without the gold medal, so if you've got it, it shouldn't take long.Alternatively, if you need to train Polosses in particular, or if he needs train points, go to outside Tangeria Tower. Exp is crap, but the fights are fast and easy and pretty much everything will die in one hit. Will catch it up right quick.

Liverobo's right, Solona has been dead for years. Besides, all Solona did was send the captcha to a human, whom in turn would solve it themselves and them give you the result, thus it took a minute or two. Webvisum, uh, let's just say it's hanging by a thread, I haven't seen much activity besides the new signed version which was not pushed out by Webvisum. Captcha be gone is very reasonable, $3 a month or $33 a year for now, because there are still launch price discounts, so might as well get it while you can. I have the yearly plan and am not regretting it one bit. Keep in mind that the antispam systems are changing, there are companies that will just have that simple checkbox to click, then companies that will stop at nothing to prevent spam yet could care less about the accessibility. So for an anticaptcha service to stay afloat, and for the server to run, the reliable ones come with a price.

Fiendour has good defense and special defense, good attack, average speed and not-so-hot special attack. He doesn't get any special attacks though, so it doesn't much matter.Fiendour is mostly good because nothing sucks, and because of his typing. Undead means he's immune to poison and magic both, and his undead moves aren't resisted by a whole lot. He also picks up Crunch for standard-type coverage, and Crunch has the chance for defense drops. Desoul can be a good move because it allows Fiendour to set it up and then get his health back gradually. Black Mana, learned at level 52 or 53 I think, only has two use points, but if it hits it will remove exactly half of the target's total HP. So if it's at 49% or worse, it's a guaranteed kill. Clobber is a touch inaccurate, but it hits quite hard, and then there's Horrify and Stifle, both of which can cause issues.The point I'm getting at is this. If you expect Fiendour to have as
  much HP as Mondevol, or as much attack as Martiagle or Erroir, or as much special defense as Enchantethol, all at the same time, then yeah, you're gonna be disappointed. He does well in all these areas, but not quite as well as specialists. So he's quite good at damn near everything but not excellent at anything. This makes him solid, but not overwhelming. He doesn't wreck entire teams. He provides excellent backup to the rest of your team. He saved my tail more than once, let me tell you.So I definitely do recommend him, particularly if you get one with a good attack stat and halfway decent speed.And BTW, guys, due to some life circumstances the guide is probably not going to get a lot of love for a couple of days. I'll try and sneak in a little more as time and opportunities permit, but I make no promises. I'm not abandoning it, I promise. I just need a few days.

I've not read either of those there Dragomier, though I have some of Simon R Green's books, I've just not read them yet. IN general it does seem that unicorns are mostly background elements, indeed only in Kay and practchett I think have I seen unicorns as major focuses of the plot, though by the same token I do need to read The Last unicorn as a fantasy classic and a book that definitely focuses on them, (it's only fair, I've read lots of zombie focused books after all).
