A way to skip dialogs in BK1?

Hello everyone,I have done some research on the subject but I can't find the answer. So I'm sorry if it was answered elsewhere nonethelessIs there a way to skip dialogs in BK1? Because I am fighting against the enhanced version of the Ground Cruizer or whatever it is called. As the scene before the fight is somewhat long and I can't figure out yet how to beat that boss. I like the pitch idea using channel separation. an example would be, C and G on left channel would correspond to square x on ps4, D and A on right channel to triangle circle. shoulder buttons could be completely different tone. There are so many ways of doing this. you could map buttons to particular chords. so minor chords for left side, major right side. or number the buttons 1 through 8. I can see that working quite well. 10 if you must use R3 and L3. if joystick movements are needed, you could also have special sounds for that, or vibration patterns. I'm just thinking out loud here. any more thoughts guys?

I am using an iPhone 6s. On the Castle and Lumbewryard screens, and all of the screens beneath them, I am having extremely frustrating swipe, tap and focus issues. I somehow think that this has to do with something other than swipe detection. Also, when are you supposed to buy the ladder, fishing rod, and other products like that in the other screens?

OK, I must provide my 2 cents here, and here they are.I agree with a bit of what everyone is saying. First, both methods of button indication are valid, but that is very dependent on the game, I think. In a game like Madden, you're not actually dealing with QTE's, you're dealing with realtime events that you must react to accordingly. For that reason, I feel that having the buttons spoken by TTS or recorded voice would be a mistake in Madden, but perfect for QTE sequences in other games.Onto the topic of pitch for this idea of button indication. The idea personally works for me, but i think another question the developers should ask is whether there are ever overlaps for the same button. If a button is used for something, then at a different time that same button is used for something else, perhaps it should play a different sound. The uniformity here would be the pitches. Each pitch is always the same for each button, but the specific types of sounds 
 that are played at that pitch are different depending on the action. One's a beep, one's a kind of ping sound... Just a thought.Regarding the post about not necessarily being able to tell which one to press without a leadup, I feel that, especially if you are a musician, that kind of thing would come with practice, which is how anyone gets better at a game. And i think that once you have an idea of how, for instance, the plays in Madden actually work, you may have some idea of which buttons you'll be needing to press from the moment you call the play. Of course, Madden being dynamic, things could change, but I think by that point you may know how to deal with those changes.Don't get me wrong, I could be completely off. I'm not trying to assume anything, just provide ideas and my own input. I hope it helps.

I am sorry to hear this. I know nothing about grants in the U.S., but one problem that you may find (I don't know if you will--it might depend on the grant) is that the health issue you describe in your article doesn't actually explicitly state why you need a braille display. A grant will require a reason that justifies your need for the braille display. If you check out www.blind.bargains or www.flying-blind.com, you may be able to find a cheaper, used braille display. I hope that you are successful because you will find that having a braille display has so many advantages.

The truth is, I'm a musician, and I still wonder how well the option of using a different pitch for each button would work. It's one thing if I know that when I hear some pitch, I need to hit some button. But to be able to hear a pitch, or even multiple pitches, in a vacuum and be able to identify which pitches they are? I don't know if it's reasonable to expect people to have that good of a sense of relative pitch. Maybe it would work better than I'm assuming—and to be fair, I don't have a better option. I just know if I know D4 is the square button and G 4 is the triangle button and you play me a D4, I might know what button to press if I have a starting reference point, but if you play me the note without any lead-up, I don't know if I'd be able to know which one it is. Does that make sense?

Not only that, Moochiani's gang planted a bomb in the main water treatment plant directly below the red dragon carryout. Moochiani claims tha

Once you land, you're going undercover as a city maintenance worker and are going to go underground and start fixing the water system and search for the bomb and disable it. Once you enter the underground-dismantled water system, intelligence tells us that Moochiani's bomb will automatically begin a 60-minute countdown until it detonates. So, you have 60 minutes to fix the water pipes, deactivate the bomb, and get this city back under control.   LevelsWhen you start on a pipe level, you will be told how many pipes are stored in your tool box, how many you're required to fix, and how many times you have to wack your hammer against that pipe to keep it fit. You will then hear a voice say, "Pipe Level." You will then be taken into the water system, where you will randomly start out on the right or the left. Where ever you start out, you have to start going in the opposite direction while fixing pipes along the way. Use your up and down arrows to cycle through pipes, press enter or slash to see if it'll fit. If it doesn't fit, you'll hear a tiny metal clink. Do not try to hammer this in, otherwise you will mash your finger, witch will cause you to lose points and hammer hitting accuracy. If the pipe fits, you'll hear a hammer hitting metal sound. When you hear this sound, press ctrl several times depending on how many hits it tells you to make. If you hit the ctrl key more than that n
 umber of times, nothing will happen. After the pipe has been fit, it's now time for you to twist the valve. To do this, you must press 1 of the 4 arrow keys. When starting out on level 1 on the first pipe, you can press any of the arrow keys with no penalties. However, after this, you have to go in a clockwise direction. When you fit all the pipes and go onto the next pipe or electricity level, (see next section for details), you have to press the arrow key you pressed on the first pipe on the first level. If this sounds complicated, I'll try to make it a little simpler with an example. Lets say you begin the first level, and you hear a pipe on the right. Hi.Well I want to thank you all for the responses! I didn't post earlier because I wanted to see where this topic went. Thank you very much for all the awesome responses! I've learned a lot of interesting things about linux.Well I changed the name of this topic because I had some other questions and I didn't want to create a whole lot of other topics to ask them.My questions are about android. I've been thinking about trying to learn programming for the thousandth time. I hope this time will be a success so wish me luck! Anyway I can barely code but I wondered about a few things. I have a mac and was thinking about making software for iOs, but I don't like the limitations apple puts on developers, and if I wanted to make a fre game I would still have to pay for storage fees which I don't want. I know that android apps are free to put up on the store, and google doesn't pester you as much as apple at least that's what I'
 ;ve heard. Well I have an android tablet so I thought it would be a good idea in the future to try something like this out. My questions are: 1. can I develop for android without getting into java? I'm going to try and learn python can I use that instead? I've heard a lot about how you can't really get into android without getting into java. 2. Does python understand touch screen and jairo and all that neat stuff? 3. If I can't use python is their another simple language I can use? 4. What do I use to compile apps? I've seen android studio and android sdk but I don't quite understand exactly how they work. 5. When I add new features to an android app do I have to compile then test on the tablet, then work some more then compile again and test again? Or is there an easier way to do this.Like I said, I'm not ready to do this yet I'm just curious how it would work. I'm going to use learn python the hard wa
 y to see if I can learn to code. I think it would be better to learn the basics on windows then move on to other things but I would still like to know how all this works. Then do like RTR does and only let the one who knows the password do things to the server. A dynamic server list? Send a packet to the server list when the server boots up notifying it there's a new server with the required information, and one when the server is being shut down. In addition, Have the server list go and ping the servers connected to it, and delete the ones that give no response. That's my suggestion.

Hi, I've seen the Princes 3 times now, and first I got that all sale prices go up by 2 percent, then by 4 percent, then by 6 percent. The first 2 times, the prices were still the same. now, the price for, say, logs, is 11 instead of 10, but, the timber is still at the starting price of 55. I think this might be a bug.

hello,sorry about me asking this question here,, it's because I didn't find any websites or forums for blind music and audio mixing questions. believe me I searched.my question is, how to control autotune, with reaper using midi controler or midi keyboard. as controlling I mean correcting the pitch according to the key you pressing. I know it's possible, I actually heard someone did that over skype but when I did what configuration he told me, I couldn't do that.if you don't know what I mean, so please use songify app for IOS or android. I just wanted to post a quick update: Based on the feedback we've received from our lovely and awesome beta testers, the crash bug seems to have indeed been fixed. We submitted the update to the store and hope that we can get through the review either tomorrow or the day after. I will post a change list here once it is available.In the meantime we won't sit idle though, we're already working on more improvements that didn't make it into this update. Better number formatting and better swipe detection will be part of that. Also, the estate will finally read out a description of what your home currently looks like.We could have waited with this update to include those changes, but fixing crashes and bugs should always be done sooner rather than later.

Actually Pitermach, it's Supernova 14 that was the first version not! to support xp. on this xp laptop I have 13.59  which was the last version of Sn to work with Supernova, then again as I said for windows 10 I have largely switched to Nvda anyway.I will say part of my reluctance to move from xp was compatibility, but as you said at this time that is not as much an issue,  though i do need to inveestigate talking dosbox (especially for Aemon deluxe). It's a real legacy to Jim Kitchin just how useful is winkit exe is for installing vb dependencies quickly and easily.

Hello folks! The musical notes seems fair in my opinion, and to avoid text to speak application it can be used as a default sequence. For example, the buttons are placed like a cross, so the higher pitch would match triangle, the lower the cross button, and so on. If necessary, other notes could be generated for the back buttons r1, r2, l1 and l2 too.Best regards, Haramir.

The jumping VoiceOver focus is related to the swipe detection and Touch Explore misfiring. We're already working on a fix, but it will take a few days to rewrite the code for this particular part of the game.

Hi shrike,claiming the quest rewards will reset the progress, that is correct. However, you start over with a lot of bonuses. Depending on which quests you completed, your lumberyard will now produce faster, more products and you'll earn more money at the market. Also, neither the estate or the princess will be reset.If you want an overview of your current active bonuses, go to the castle and find the button "View Upgrades". There you can see a list of your upgrades that you already earned.This mechanic will allow you to produce faster and earn more money, buy cheaper storage etc, and every time you restart it will take you a lot less time to get to where you were. You won't be able to get to the really high valued products or really expensive properties without those restart boosts.

I'm getting weird accessibility behavior when I have a lumberyard with 4 slots. When I swipe through them it'll sometimes jump back to the first one for no discernible reason. It also gets really, really laggy beyond the usual. I'm using an IPhone 6S.

I am not sure if anyone else has posted this problem,but I was happily playing crafting kingdom tucked up in my nice cosy bed when after completing all my quests I thought lets cash them in,to my utter dismay, I tried to click the play button to start again only for everything to freeze and the tts to go silent, so I stayed calm, turned on voiceover, closed the ap then loaded the ap up again.Dismay turned ito complete horror as it looks like its reset me to the beginning with no boosts etc I even had to buy the lumber yard again.I was that stressed I had to jump out of bed (which is no mean feat) boot up my pc to share this travesty.its only been 3 days of life gone but it still hurts, I am using an I phone 7 with the latest ios on it for the devs information.If someone thinks I have gone wrong somewhere and I am stressed about nothing please let me know.ok back to bed.

I did gather that the readme only skimmed the surface of what was available, indeed I died rather in short order from drinking what I believe was unpurified water, so more information for myself and for other players would definitely help. I want to thank you for all these features that are in a hero's call! I haven't played mainstream games much since I'm totally blind but I do like to listen to videos where people played them. Something I've been thinking to myself for years is that we really need to push the audiogames genre forward. I'm happy to say that this is happening but very, very slowly. I think a hero's call is exactly what we need to shake things up! I like the replay feature after fights it's like listening to an action movie. And the music is great it sounds like something you would hear in game of thrones! I'm curious about something, I read a little bit of the introducing out of sight games topic where it said you guys were building a game engine to make a hero's call did you 
 ever get that done and what is it like? You don't have to tell me of course I'm just always curious about things like this.@Muhammad, I don't think he meant the game is being delayed, I think he just meant that everyone on the team is busy with work, school, things like that, so progress has slowed somewhat. He didn't say anything about stopping a hero's call.

There has been a fair bit of discussion on this here already right? From what I remember it was just a straightforward literal instruction... if a QTE tells you to press square, just say 'square', if A, say 'A'.Nice and simple to do with TTS if that's available, and saves having to learn a system.

It would be the following notes:C F B-flat E-flat A-flat D-flat G-flat B E A D GThe sequence repeats itself for higher/lower octaves.So, assuming an Xbox controller, and using X Y A B buttons that have icons that appear at different times, each one would be assigned to its own note. Surround sound can be used to indicate which side of the screen the icon appeared. The notes may or may not overlap.Would that work as a way to distinguish multiple overlapping events?

Hmmm, I find this talk of adds on windows 10 rather strange since I don't notice any particularly, not on the operating system itself. it is true that there was a lot of stuff which came with the computer by default which I removed using c cleaner, but that is true of any machine, hell my original xp machine came with a lot of links to microsoft gaming zone etc that I  didn't want. Microsoft Edge by default did seem to be showing lots of adds, but whether that was just the webpage it was pointed at I'm not sure.

If you need quality email services, and you aren't hosting your own, you definitely ought to pay for them. [[wow]], I wonder if getting 100% items is even worth anything, lol.I got to 49 items on one playthrough. Tried again and got 48, but I have no idea what I did differently. Obviously I'm missing something, but when I listen to either MM's or DD's playthroughs I don't hear anything new that I haven't seen before. This is just weird.I suppose I could try literally following the playthrough screen by screen, but that would take a lot of patience. I just wish I could understand what I'm missing.I still don't understand what counts toward completion and what doesn't. I used the repeatable passwords, got the skills from the chests and the wheel of space time, and by the time I got through everything I was at 56 items. I subtracted 6, 3 for the skills, 1 for the wheel of space time and 2 for the passwords and I was at 50, but the game said I was at 48. So no idea what I counted that the game doesn't count towards 100% comp
 letion.

@Aaron I have generated the reference for the cards, but I'd prefer a way to just use the game deck manager to create more decks as needed, since it's easier to find cards with the arrows and mark them than it is all that copying and pasting. Hopefully as Staindadict said, something in the manner of a deck manager will be included in the game later, indeed some sophisticated options for looking up and adding cards to decks would be helpful, especially since it seems each new version of the game gives us more cards and more types of card to play with.

Joseph,Right now I have Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 8.1 computers.Back in 1995 to 2000 I developed games for DOS that required a hardware speech synthesizer.They worked on Windows 95 and 98 computers and still worked great on XP computers but did not work on newer versions of Windows.When we started developing games for Windows, they needed Microsoft's DirectX version 8.1 to play the sounds.When Windows Vista, 7 and 8 came out, Microsoft's DirectX was changed so the distance between the far left sound and the far right sound was reduced.In other words Microsoft mixed a bit of the left channel into the right and vice versa.So Windows games designed for Windows XP did not sound as good on more recent Windows computers. I plan on updating my Windows 8.1 computer to Windows 10 this year.

Well just to let everyone know, Survive the wild now has a database page which can be found here I appologise both  to Sam, and to everyone involved with the game for not getting this done much! sooner, but hopefully better late than never. I was actually hoping one of our other staff who might be more familiar with the game than I am could take care of this, but as it happened I decided to get it done myself. I freely admit I didn't explore much of the game in my rather brief tryout, so if anyone wants to point out and explain anything about the game  which might need including on the page, anything a prospective  new player might want to know, or any particularly unique aspects of the game I missed out, feel free, the game after all does have a learning curve which is rather steep and I couldn't find out too much in one afternoon. The low swiping sensitivity doesn't come from the performance, it actually comes from our detection code. We are working on that too, because it definitely can be much improved. This update doesn't contain any improvements to the swipe detection yet though, sorry.

Just tried the game and I like what I've played, though I really think there could be more added even at this early stage (stereo as an option, music that you can choose to enable) but more importantly, you have a safe jump pit cue, can you have a ducking cue for the stalagtites as well, as long as it's togglable on/off of course.Here's my furthest run so far.  Might pick up the game and see how far I can get:In 2MB MineRacer, my total time was 2 minutes  and 13 seconds! I scored 126406 points, jumped 6 pits, ducked 5 stalactites, and collected 52 coins .

If your computer has no hdmi in, and you only want audio, get an optical audio cable, and then get an optical audio to analogue converter so you can plug it into the line in on your computer.

I keep coming back to this. One day, one day ... but I just don't get the sense, even under GNOME3, that the experience is anything like as snappy or polished as Windows or Mac. I think it's clear that Orca development is very stretched, at any rate. JMO, but I really am going to take some persuading to use it as my primary OS.

iOS Players on iOS 9.x - we have found a potential fix for the crash and it is beta testing now. If it holds up, it will go online as soon as Apple reviews it, which usually takes between 1 and 3 days.

I'm basically with Chris and Jack, in most regards. On a Mac, an XP VM is small and efficient, has a Start menu that I actually want to use, and can be locked down tighter than a duck's arse. Later versions of Windows are simply less good. However, I would use them if necessary. Where I diverge from popular opinion is in acceptance of Windows 10; I have already said, many times, and my position is reenforced with every stupid decision Microsoft makes, that I will vigorously avoid a platform that disregards my privacy and shows me ads. The accessibility improvements (and the bash shell/Linux subsystem) are wonderful, but not enough to stop me using Windows 7 or 8.1 with Classic Shell (the latter I find quite acceptable, actually, and very stable too, much more so than Windows 7 ever was). If Microsoft will let me pay for a version of Windows 10 that doesn't offend my sensibilities, I will seriously look into it again; until then, it's either an XP VM or a fully-
 booted native Windows 8.1. HTH.

I think I lucked out more than anything with NVDA's glorious mouse navigationalso fun fact, on said same site they also have the base game at a wapping 90 percent discount or something close to it... so... yeah I'm a little miffed, heh if I'd heard of that site I would've just gotten it off there on mondayand here I thought I was somewhat knowledgeable on PC gaming sites,

@DracoSelene89 I don't see how what you stated discredited my point. I do however believe that in a public server based game such as this, a dynamic server list is crucial. Road to Rage, for example, has 4 non working servers: the grenade interactive servers, and the main server (that main server never seems to work). To clarify my point that a central server is impractical, The Killer is not a shareware product. It is also a First Person Shooter. Ivan may also experience trouble, financial or otherwise, forcing him to shut the server. We've seen this before.With a First Person Shooter, it is not practical, easy, or efficient to have a team of administration staff watching over the players. Too much trouble for a game like this.

Dark, no, the only reason there is only jaws is because it only needs to install scripts for jaws, all other screen readers work without scripts.
