I think that I can answer faster than here @SLJ currently, the software helps you to create a deck. It can load older decks and modify it.The system is a simple twin tables system, where in one ou have your trunc with all of your cards (the software at start loads the card reference file) and in the other, the cards that your deck has.Simply find the card that you want in the trunc, and you can put it in to the deck, pressing x, or shift+x for insert 4 copies of that card, and in the  other list, you can remove the cards that you put in the deck using z (remove one) or shift+z (four copies)Also, you can filter in the trunk by type using the aplication key.Currently, due to the ch
 anges in the reference structure, the required level of each card is bad displayed, saying that any card requires 0 level of it's type to can play, but is a issue.The software is in Spanish, but the cards name deppends directly of the reference file.That is all.

Phil: Actually one of our beta testers had some very good additional class recommendations, and one of them was bard. Unfortunately new classes would mean lots of additional time and effort for our sound designer, in particular so we decided to put it pretty low on the priority list.Dragomier: No sub-class system per se. I like the idea, and it would work well in a game with more complex mechanics, but we kept things reasonably simple for this first outing.

Flackers, we may be able to solve the numpad problem by downloading the objpad nvda addon. This, in my opinion at least, is more powerful than even Jaws arrowing around. Ctrl=nvda+tab changes the behavior of the arrow keys. It's like quicknav on the mac in a sense. What we have is object nav mode, which basically just makes the arrow keys do the numpad commands, aka, down arrow to go inside an object, up to get out of it, left and right to move, you name it. Then there's scan mode, which basically scans the entire windows with the arrow keys. Then we have web mode which works like the roter on ios or mac. Up and down arrows change navigation granularity, and right and left arrows move by the navigation setting.

Night of parasite keeps freezing, need help.

Hi,So I recently got night of parasite as it sounds like a pretty cool game. There is a problem though. When I start the program, it works fine. I can set level, name, read the chapter, then start. But when I try and walk, it freezes. I can pick up a dagger sometimes, or move through a door, but it freezes at some point. I have tried reinstalling and running as admin. The run as admin thing worked but then I died and closed the game to read up on it more. When I started a new game, it froze again almost instantly, even when I ran as admin again. I'd really like to resolve this issue as that's a game i'd really like to play, it seems to be the only realtime rpg game although I haven't tried out paliden of the sky yet either.

Agreed, but with my short MCE demo, I couldn't even complete a flight  or at least, stay up in the air to even get away from my departure.FSNavigator is now called FSTramp, lol.

some what good news injustice fans. I have been messing around with the gear with a sighted friend to see if there is anyway its a little assessable. bits and pieces of it is. we can at least decode the mother boxes, and purchase the premiere skins without sighted assistance, I will write up a guide on that in the coming days, but I need to know the list of characters, you all want that guide for. it is a lot to take down, so I just prefer to do it on a character request basis. it seems like all chahrs has premiere skins, at least like 5. for example, flash has reverse flash, kid flash, speed flash, and other versions. so throw out those character request, and we can get the ball rolling

Not only that but the optimize option only tok physical defense into account and completely ignored special protections. So it would equip the armor with the best physical defense and not that one that had slightly weaker physical protection but protected against sleep, poison or paralysis.

I'd love to ditch the ludicrously over-priced jaws in favour of NVDA, especially as Jaws has been going downhill lately in terms of releasing versions that add nothing useful to the previous one, and are just released to make money. Since version 14, Jaws has been a hell of a lot buggier than it ever was before. My trouble is I understand the jaws scripting language, but can't even get started with the one NVDA uses. And I've made my favourite music VST plugins accessible using jaws scripts, and really couldn't face rewriting all those tens of thousands of lines in NVDA, so I'm tied to jaws.I have to say the Jaws' basics of scripting manual is a genius little piece of tutorial writing. I knew nothing at all about scripting before reading it, but afterwards, I could make software almost completely accessible, even stuff that was all just images jaws couldn't read in any way. People champion NVDA on it being for the power 
 user, but if it ever truly wants to knock jaws out of the ring, it has to appeal more to the simple user because that's what most people are. And for me at least, it has to find a simpler way of reading stuff where the pc focus can't go. The jaws cursor: you just turn it on and arrow around, what could be easier than that? Those NVDA numpad commands seem insanely over-complex to me.

Avalon MUD soundpack: german-english

Hello, this time I have problems with the Mush-soundpack for Avalon MUD.Namely, there is a very nicely up-to-date soundpack for that MUD, made for Mush-client, (so it is integrated into a separate Mush-client copy, like the ones for Alteraeon or Materia Magica), which I downloaded from here:http://toni.satoprogs.de/avalon-soundpack/Its newest version can also be downloaded from here:https://github.com/Timtam/AvalonThe first one is a german site, the second however is in english.The main problem is, that the soundpack, regardless from which site I download it, is by default linked to a german Avalon server with autorun, with a different name and port number from the english one, where I am currently playing.This normally resulted in my character not being recognized there.I do understand and write german quite well, but I would 
 still prefer to continue playing on the english server, would hate to restart, then start playing from the very scratches again, in a language even, in which I am still less competent than in english.I prefer using VIP-client for playing my favorite MUDs, so I am familiar only with the very basics of Mush-client.This means I could only redirect the MUD address from the german Avalon server to the english one, but after I did that and restarted the client, a bunch of errors were announced, and the soundpack didn't function right...in matter fact the most elements, including the sounds themselves, didn't function at all anymore.I actually wonder why this happened, since as I could determine, all the files in the soundpack directory are named in english, and the copy of the Mush-client itself is in english as well, so I have absolutely no clue what causes those errors, and why doesn't the soundpack function on the english Avalon server too???An
 y suggestions or advices regarding this issue?(maybe the solution of the problem is quite simple, it's just my lack of competence with Mush-client, which prevents me from determining and finding it)

Hi,the problem is that there are two games called avalon, a German and an English one, and they are totally different games. The soundpack you got is for the German game, and only for this one. Regarding auto-equip: I guess it would work in a game with a simple enough armor mechanic, such as simply an armor rating with no other effects. It's when you get into pros vs. cons that it wouldn't work out well.Regarding special attacks: Each party member has unique characteristics, some of which are available as soon as you get them, others which require completing certain quests. Not all of these are special skills or attacks, but some arr. There are also some skills that only your player character can learn, by virtue of completing certain quests. In addition, each class has certain skills that are only available to that class, so depending on which class you play as, there may be party members who are the only ones with those skills. I won't say any more about the character-specific stuff because I don't want to spoil the fun of finding out for yourself.

I really want to drop some money on one of these 2 programs. I have FSX hanging out in my Steam library, but I haven't messed with it too much. I have played Flight Sim 2004 with FS Navigator, which in some ways was more hands on than IYP because you had to adjust your flaps, gear and so on manually though you didn't get a lot of feedback on what they were at.Anyway, I am incredibly hesitant to buy IYP, because of how limited the demo is, especially taking out the blind pilot mode is a bit frustrating so I'm not sure how well I could even test it. Already on that front MCE seems like a much better deal with the demo seemingly offering all features in all aircraft. I have watched a few of Orin's streams with IYP and I also looked up an MCE video up on YouTube and it does look really impressive. So I'm leaning more into investing money into MCE, and possibly FS Passengers which I have fond memories of when I played FS 2004.If we have to do some
  tasks manually with MCE, like controling the angle or controlling the gear, I don't mind that personally. If anything it adds more to the experience in my opinion.

Hello, this time I have problems with the Mush-soundpack for Avalon MUD.Namely, there is a very nicely up-to-date soundpack for that MUD, made for Mush-client, (so it is integrated into a separate Mush-client copy, like the ones for Alteraeon or Materia Magica), which I downloaded from here:Its newest version can also be downloaded from here:https://github.com/Timtam/AvalonThe first one is a german site, the second however is in english.The main problem is, that the soundpack, regardless from which site I download it, is by default linked to a german Avalon server with autorun, with a different name and port number from the english one, where I am currently playing.This normally resulted in my character not being recognized there.I do understand and write german quite well, but I would still prefer to continue playing on the english server, would hate to restart, then start playing from th

That'd be me. There's no contact details for me though on blindgamers.com, it's still really his. Ian's been busy with a lot of other things recently. You'll have my contact details through here (I think). I've lost access to his server, where all the cool stuff happens, including the online server and deployments of the code. So, I can't really do anything to help I'm afraid.If it was as simple as having a new home for the server and it'd magically work, I could probably just stand up a new Azure instance to host it on and run the server from there. I might even be able to shared host it to save some pennies, as the server is fairly lightweight. All the running of the game happens on the host's machine, after all. It just match makes and routes messages from the host to all the other players. Or I could just accept your offer and send you the server executable and config and away you could go, in theory. But you'
 ;d have to update all the clients to use this new match making server. The most efficient way to do that is to deploy a new release. Which... needs the server. I could of course do this somewhere else and have players use that for their updates and such like, but then I feel like I'm stealing this from Ian and that's not what I want. Or maybe that's just me being overly sentimental. But that's the lay of the land as is right now. When Ian's back, I'll see about getting access again and I can get the server up and running and it should all work again. And I'll be able to deploy releases too. If I can ever figure out this memory issue, that is.

That's not really going to work as you'd want to protect it, and people can just tap M and locate it.  It's also a good idea to not make a base, because while it's nice to have bitcoins and buy things, you also have to keep it protected, and I've notices that's when the hunger kicks in.  I'd like to see robots be able to trigger barricade bombs, as well as bombs causing other bombs to explode like the claymore/bullet bomb combination.

Mainstream game Gameboy advance port of final fantasy 6/final fantasy 3 had optimize, which equipped the best equipment of your currently selected character.  But otherwise, no other games that I know of.  But that was a port of the original super nintendo game so it had a bunch of added features to make things a bit easier/fun.  Great to hear about the ability to look at newly picked up items compared to what is currently equipped, will be a huge help for all levels of player.

I'd like to see a tutorial done for a complete flight with MCE before I drop the money and buy it.  I'd like to use it, but I'm not going to spend money on something that I may or may not be able to use.  I bought IYP based on the tutorial video, but it also was the only thing we had at the time.  Also it's amazingly well-written documentation.

I wouldn't put them all in one deck. You're limited to having 60 cards in your deck during a battle, so some may or may not be chosen. You may even end up with several hands full of cards that you can't use right away because your level in that type is too low. Building a deck requires a bit of strategy.

Regarding classes: Someone was definitely paying attention, as that was originally the list of classes. However during a major overhaul of the skill system, we actually combined mage and battlemage into a single class. So yes, the classes are now warrior, ranger, thief, mage, priest, and necromancer.Blindjay: Good question. You're not the first to ask about inventory management. An auto-equip option would be great in theory, but the problem is that there is no objective way to determine what piece of armor is "best." For example, which is "better"—a piece of armor that provides better defense but is much heavier? Or a much weaker piece of armor that provides a 15% bonus to your evade chance? What about a piece of armor with an equal armor rating against all damage types, versus one which has a 20% bonus against piercing damage but a 20% weakness to blunt damage? And so on.But we have done one thing to help with inventory management, which is that when you look at an item either in your inventory/equip screen or in a shop or container, you can not only see that item's stats, but your currently equipped item's stats for comparison. So when you pick up a new piece of armor, as you're picking it up you can compare its stats to your currently equipped armor's stats to see if you want to switch it out.And yes, you can definitely sell unwanted gear. It's really your main way of making money, along with rewards for completing quests and finding it in containers—but you probably make the most off of selling unwanted gear.

I see that there's a steam greenlight page for it, but apparently steam does not  put games on their platform  based on greenlight votes.about the game, I really like the fact that it's semi randomly generated. It has a pretty nice structure to it. That is why I would like to play it over and over, Because I want to play it differently each time.  Games that are entirely based on procedural generation are boring for me, They do not have that sorta charm I expect from a game.If you're looking for complex ideas to get them implemented, here  are mine:1. A huge change to the combat system and  introducing  more units with different weapons (Like swordsmen, spearmen, 
 archers, hoursemen, heavy cavalry).Here's what I imagine the new system to be: When a battle starts, the two opposing armies get placed in a distance from each other. the distance stages would be like: Very far, far, medium range, short range, engaged. at each stage, you could order your army to do an action. actions like: firing arrows, preparing firy arrows or a special weapon, changing formations. (Formation as in which units go in first and which support or go after), performing an ability (Like doing a battlecry for a boost to troops' morale,  things like setting traps and spikes, or giving an order for your troops to rush faster to interupt the enemy's abilities or surprise them (with more casualties to your own side)After the armies clash (engaged  stage), I think that the war should be  stopped every while and then, showing you the casualties (each unit type seperated) and you get to have to  do actions based on your location (w
 hether you're an attacker or defender). you could give the order to  attack more ferociously (Both armies could do), have a more defensive stance (Both sides could do), retreat (Offending side) and anything else that would make sense stat wise since everything is about numbers anyway.I think that also would get boring since you'll have to  do a lot of battles in the game but i thought  having more choices in combat would make sense in a war simulator specially if you've got different unit types, It would be fun raining arrows upon your enemies soldiers and workers and getting smashed  by their fast moving cavalry . Maybe there should be an option to  have all of these things automatically done for you by a general (like how it is currently)2. Fortification: Kingdoms should be able to build fortifications that would boost their defendi
 ng units. such as watch towers, walls, guardtowers, traps, and such. these would be destroiable as they get invaded.3. An ability to create specialized kingdoms with custom behaviors.  I'd like to create empires  inspired by Persians and Greeks, focusing on  superior their archers and horsemen. or some viscious assassins  hidden in mountains with lots of defensive boosts to their kingdom land.4. A more complex economy, where there are  trade routes. Greetings all. Their are quite a few things to report today so settel back. Alrighty, so first we've got the offline storyline. In porting over the original, i've made a few edits and corrections, specificly to the dark matter portion. I won't spoil anything with it, but lets just say it now makes proper sence in the storyline. So far i've gotten past implementing the dark matter sequence from the original, which means i've still just got a few more things to design involving the games first level. However, the sequence this time is... a bit different. Since your navigating in first person, dark matter won't just explode to your left and right, it'll explode all around the room your in. And its randomized now, so a max of 1 to 9 seconds can take place before the next blast goes off. Thus, running around in tite corridors is not exactly a smart idea. I've put in the checkpoint system with a manual save feature instead of an auto save, but at 
 the moment i'm having difficulties getting it to work. For online mode, skills and classes have been implemented, along with player ranks. Starship piloting via the manual system is also beginning to be fully useable, though you'll need to keep an eye on your speed and your engine power when your at the helm as its rather tricky to pilot. I've implemented a new class client side for players, that automaticly loads the correct sounds for player movement, more things can be added in the future. This, i'm hoping, should at least put a stop to the difficulties faced when you would have more than 1 player in the same area moving, since the game is now no longer loading sounds for something as simple as walking all the time. Tractor beam modules now have a facelift as well. Instead of pressing shift t to use it, when you access the module from your inventory it will scan for anything it can lock onto, including stuff like power systems and levers. The interface is diff
 erent depending on what's tractored, levers for instance if you lock on will prevent you from moving as the up and down aeros will be used to move the lever up and down, remember the speed of the levers movement during this is heavily baste on your tractor beam module's speed. Anyways, that's all the updates I have for now. I'm hoping to have the update out and the game back up soon.

Hello allA question regarding items/equipment, especially armor and weapons.  From reading previous posts and the demos on the website, you will not only be able to buy weapons in shops but also get them from completed quests as well as defeating enemies, am I correct?  With that perhaps being the case, with an inventory of hundreds of items/weapons/armor, will there be an auto equip or optimize option that will automatically equip the best equipment for a given character?  If not that's fine but the player will have to spend forever trying to figure out what is the best equipment out of that huge inventory.  Now I wouldn't mind that because I would be taking notes on what numbers I hear for each item such as magic, strength etc but some help might be nice for beginners or those players that might not have the patience to do such a thing.  Another question on that same topic is will you be able to sell old equipment?I completely under
 stand it can definitely be hard to get inventory management balanced, having it not that complex but not that easy either.Thanks!

I love this game. No spoilers, but i was just on orlanth's quest,  and my leader managed to do something that even he couldn't .  Sometimes it's easy to forget that the legends are  simply guidelines, not rules .  Don't be afraid to try a different option depending on who you send on the quest, you never know what could happen.

Idea for small audio tool.

Hi. I have some idea and some problem. The idea is to make small program for doing most important thing with field recordings. I know that on the market is a lot of audio editors such as Audacity, Goldwave, Soundforge, Reaper etc, but i would like to have small program with few things most used in field recording situations. The problem is that i'm not a programmer but i anyways tried to make something and it generally works, but with some annoying bugs which i cannot resolve.I planning to use opensource toll named SOX which is in fact console audio editor with effects from audacity, few external codecs and few free vst-s and some console vst host. if anybody would like help me please send e-mail to napiszdotomeckiego at gmail.com

Phil, fortunately for you all, you won't be hearing me in the game. I suppose technically I am playing Will the Minstrel, as he doesn't speak but you can hear him playing the Irish penny whistle, which is a recording of me playing. Assuming we don't replace those audio assets with something a bit higher quality, that is...Dan_C: I couldn't agree more. I remember at one point one of our testers commented on the thief class seeming underpowered. I said, "Really? Because in my current play through I've had everybody but my thief character die multiple times, and have had to have him fight off multiple enemies so I can survive." So it really depends on how you build the character, which in turn depends on the type of gear you equip, what skills you upgrade, and so on. Hopefully there will be some lively discussion between players sharing tips and tricks they pick up.

For one, MCE is getting updated with new supported aircraft. Robert, I don't think, really cares much about IYP anymore, and it feels neglected to me.Second, it's not a matter of we can't use it properly. IYP pretty much babies us and manages things for us automatically so we don't have to learn how it works. For example, when you apply full thrust in MCE, that's exactly what you're doing, applying full power. IYP, when I apply takeoff thrust, doesn't even come close to that.That said, if IYP started to be updated again, I'd support it. Because I'm flying with IYP, I don't know how to stay airborne with MCE. Even after getting airborne and saying select climb power, I still manage to fall. Perhaps this is because I don't know what to set the elevator trim to, another thing IYP sets automatically. You can set the elevator trim by voice, E.G. 5 percent up or down, etc. But we have to set it, unlike IYP.The onl

 joystick/keyboard, etc, such as the nose angle etc.So, it's not a matter of we can't use it properly. We need to learn how to use it. Ben, the MCE developer, will add things if he feels we might benefit from them. Impressions.. the game is definitely good, a step up from the original in terms of pacing. Characters don't feel as clunky in most cases, and the story is decent, though still as full of holes as always... and the dialog is a mixed bag. Gear isn't noticable unless you fight online. I'm enjoying it, but not as much as I will enjoy Tekken 7 in a week, which is saying something because I put down Tekken 6 pretty quickly after I got bored with it. this was definitely worth the buy though, don't regret it nearly as much as I did the first one.

Accessible Antivirus?

Just got rid of AVG as it's not as accessible as it was before this latest revamp. I could no longer temporarily turn off its protection to do a system restore, or download a file I knew to be safe. It was a total pain to remove even with the AVG removal tool, which didn't remove every trace of AVG like it claims. AVG is acting more like malware, AdWare, and ransomware than the things it's supposed to be protecting me from. Anyone know of an antivirus that's relatively hassle-free using a screen reader? Or is anyone managing without an antivirus program. I don't have it on either of my laptops because I don't do anything that would require it, and I love the way they boot up quicker and just run better without antivirus. Wish I could live without them as often the cure is worse than the disease.
