I've just posted Blazing server version 0.7 with a small list of changes:- Fixed a bug that was causing the Berserker warrior to take double damage during enemy encounters.- Fixed a bug that was causing the Thief mode ranger NOT to take double damage during enemy encounters.- Thief mode now has a 33% chance of using up an arrow when moving to a new space.  The story is that as a thief, sometimes you must make witnesses disappear (at the cost of an arrow).- Changing between normal and Lightning mage now correctly doubles or halves your current health.  This prevents players from switching back and forth to get a free instant heal at settlements.- Warrior rage now works a bit differently.  If an enemy survives your initial attack, the enemy's remaining health is checked.  If your number of saved up rage points is greater than or equal to this remaining health, that many rage points are used to instantly kill it.  This
  saves you from any counter attack.  If your warrior kills the creature in the initial attack, no rage points are used, and if you do not have enough rage points to actually kill the wounded creature (after the initial attack), no rage points are used.  This allows warriors to save up rage points across battles, until they can be used to save the player from what would be a creature's counter attack.

if you have at least some sight, you can use the 3d scene to drive a car. some cars can just be controlled with the arrows and don't need any huds or anything like that.

Hi.I was on SL for some time and learned a bit about the, well, should we call it a game or a simulator?Because for the disabled comunity on there it's not like a game, it's their second life. You create an avatar and have to create clothing and styles for every ocasion. For example if you go out, sit at a camp fire and chat with others, or do what ever you want.Good, I tackled the problem by one of the VI officials giving me a lion as an avatar, yeah, this is a thing. But you need sighted help from some of the members for example when you want to look at the textures of a room or location, if you want to move somewhere you have to follow someone, you can pritty much say that this is a game where you depend on the sighted folk dedicated to the VI Group.Greetings Moritz

In my humble opinion *cough*(and the rest of the internet)*cough* song 03 titled "Guile's Theme" goes with everything. LOL!!! These are kind of interesting. Not a half bad find I guess. It amazes me that we've got Balrog and Vega but no M. Bison. Actually, I was sure we had a few more pieces not found in this folder. Makes me wonder about this particular port of SF2. Is the original arcade one? I don't know. SF2 has gone through so many ports, versions, and I'm sure various revisions.

That one is strong, yeah. Luckily, you can dodge. Don't get too close, since that one attacks faster and charges at you; jump when possible... I think my strategy was to climb up while the lesser demons were away from the tree, get in a couple attacks or however many I could before the others caught up and started climbing, then dive out of the tree, repeat til victorious. Also, you can aim the iron balls, which is if the boss demon ever gets stuck dangling from the tree.Oh, and if you got the mines from stage 4, those may or may not help.

@ethinYes, BGT is outdated. Yes, there are some things BGT can't do. Yes, BGT was created as a (gaming toolkit), hints the name. But some people, including me, enjoy the challenge of doing stuff, just like this. The moment someone tells me something *can't* be done, its time to get coding and see what I can pull off. Its hacking, and you'd be surprised what can be done. Its a mindSet. I know some people might not agree with me here, and prefer a more streight and upfront way of completeing an objective, but trust me, its not just here. Have you seen game console hacks? They're performed with rufly the same idea in mind.

If you're talking about the minideamon level 40, on top of the tree who's just sitting on his ass, you can't really do much about him before you die. I think he throws you out of the tree, while the others keep respawning.

Hello. I bought the bk3 translation file a few days ago after hereing a playthrough by pg13 and hereing what an awesome game it was. Once I bought the file, I ran into an extremely odd issue with my system where the save file dialog wouldn't appear, which lead to the site telling me that the order had already been placed. However, after contacting the developer with my transaction ID and getting a response in a very short time period, I was able to download the file. For the past few days, I haven't been able to put bk3 down. I'm already at stage 5-3. I'm having a small problem though. How are you supposed to defeat the hord of mini deamons since they keep respawning? All in all, great work. I love the game! I would say that $5 is more than worth the price for what you're getting. If people are complaining about the price, please keep in mind the cost in time to manually translate more or less an entire game, with story elements, item descriptions, environ
 mental descriptions, vast menus, and a load of other strings, not to mension the time to develop such a massive game in the first place. We, as the VI community have many games that cost way! more, and give you a lot less than what BK3 has to offer.

The instructions you provided weren't all that clear to me. For example, I had to figure out how to run the batch file through the admin command line since I couldn't get it to work by running it as administrator from the context menu.

What a coincidence! Windows XP was the first operating system I really worked with. In fact, the first time I used a computer was in 2001 or 2002, and even I don't remember what operating system I was using. Probably 98 or 2000. But I got my own computer back in 2007 for the first time. I remember one of the things I did one night was look under the sound schemes. I memorised where Windows kept all of its sounds.

I quit because I hate that I had to get help to do stuff in there, I don't for instance, need help getting dressed IRL, so why would I interact in a world where I do, also, everything has HUDs now which radegast can't interact with, so you have to try to find clothing without HUDs and its just so meh. It's not a blind friendly place at all, even in the accessible locations. I also attended formal events and sat on someone because I just happened to find a seat in the object viewer that I tried to sit in, do you know how embarrassing that would be IRl? I refuse to do things that require me to have help doing them, for instance blindness sports, if I can do it, I'll do it, if not, I don't, there's no freaking dignity in sitting on someone, it just makes you look stupid to everyone else, and I refuse to use blindness as an excuse either, which is why I moved away from SL, its not viable for us.

Hmmm, this is weird.  I have got to 4.2 and there is no way to progress. There are two doors, behind one door is a box with a screen, the other doesn't open (I think there might be a message in Japanese or something). If I hit enter on the box I'm told I need to input numbers, however the numbers are always the same 3 9 27 which doesn't open the box and there doesn't seem to be a way to actually guess the numbers or to progress. I've tried killing the monsters outside but they just respawn and in the end I had to exit the stage. Am I being very thick here?

I find it so far quite not very efficient. Basicly to use something as far as I know, you got to use the object menue, and then press application key, pick an action, go to chat menue and see if it worked.

Well, I tried it long time ago and I was stuck too so I can see nothing is changed. I know some users who are playing using other (probably official client) with objects like a cane etc cause SL originally contain sounds, ambiences etc so with this client you are missing so many features.

I've tried to explore several amusement parks, games and such, and I can't interact with objects I'd expect to be able to interact with, E.G. rides.Then, I can't figure out how to look at embedded info for events in the days events notecard for the VAI group.I can normally learn things myself, but I find the objects window of Radegast confusing, considering that every object shows up, even the ones of no importance such as scenery objects, paths, etc. You could walk to a path but have no idea how to follow it.I shouldn't need a VAI mentor for a lot of this... I figured out how to search for things, places/people/groups/events, teleport to them, or search for clubs and the like, but actually navigating my way around
  there with the use of the objects window is proving to be a pain in the ass.For those of you who are have and/or getting a life in SL, what's the best way around these problems? The way I see it right now, we aut to make our own audio 3D viewer where we could walk and navigate like everyone else.Of course, we can use the commands to move, but that's not much help if I don't know what I'm looking for in the place.I guess we can make this the official SL discussion topic of things to do, etc, and people who already have Radegast up and running and talk experiences in here. These problems are also blindness specific to Radegast users, so that's why I think we should discuss it here. I know for a fact that some activities are limiting with a text viewer, what are they? Amusingly enough I've actually found a great way of levelling up by  tha hammer on the rolling boulders in 2.3 or refighting the generator in 2.4 so I've earned about three levels quite quickly. hopefully that will put me back on track somewhat since judging by the fact  hammer requires 12 tech I've probably put more points into tech than I need to, it's currently at 24.

There isn't a setting for that. Windows doesn't actually provide a way to tell if something is copied to the clipboard or not, so NVDA doesn't include it. Though if you're really desperate for it, you can download an addon that attempts to provide similar behavior here. @Green Gables Fan, you can use OCR on anything, and I believe PDF files could work. @SLJ, you can find more info about it in the user guide. The keystroke NVDA+r is used for text recognition.

You aren't suppose to be able to destroy those. You are suppose to block the bolts with a shield or other piece of armour and run past them while they aren't shooting since they only fire at intervals. There are enemies that you aren't meant ot destroy, at least the first time you play.

Well I'm now on 3.2 with the laser shooters   fire unjumpable lasers and guess what? No damage to them with any weapon either, even the wide hammer so I suppose  more of the endless grind once again!

I don't remember exactly, but your long sword should have a very good chance with it if your attack stat is high enough... that is usually the case. The weapons have a base damage and usually an attack multiplier, so that sword won't do any damage to the launcher unless you have a high enough attack so that the damage value is higher than the defense value of whatever enemy you're attacking. And there is actually a way... every enemy makes a sound when you hit it, in addition to the weapon sound... so if your weapon hits the enemy but no sound plays to indicate that they're taking damage, it won't have delat any. For example, the monster generator will make a sound like a machine sparking and about to short circuit if you successfully damage it. Otherwise, you'll simply hear the sound of whatever weapon hitting something without the damage sound for whatever enemy you're whacking away at.

Hi. Well I decided to soldier on with the game regardless. I got through 2..2 and 2.3 (actually I'm kicking myself over 2.3 since I spent more time trying to kill the boulders and only worked out I had to run out of the level after a while, though it did get me some good xp). I'm now on 2.4 and seem to be stuck. I get that I have to hit the monster generator when it comes down to create monsters however the only weapons I have that does it any damage at  are iron balls, which do only 41 damage, which is roughly four percentage of it's health. That is okay accept when it decides to create boulders and pretty much kills me rather quickly. I confess this business of weapons not damaging enemies is mildly frustrating, especially since the only way I can actually see if weapons damage enemies is hit e and check the combat log. I wonder if I've actually missed a weapon somewhere in stage 2?Edit: okay that
  was crzy! I chucked small iron balls at the thing  I had none left, used my last two plates and it was on about %20 health, then I just avoided the boulders until the launcher smooshed itself. On the one hand this is cool, on the other hand, no xp for defeating the boss? That is a bit rough, and I still have no idea if there is a better way to kill it other than going through stage 1.1 about 10 times until you have 50 or so small iron balls.

I, too ahve been a bit scared about going to this website as I've heard of some kind of meh stuff on here, but it sounds like it's improving.What do you guys also think of stuff like Choice of/Hosted Games, and stuff like Fallen London? Do you think I should stick to those, or is it worth checking out CYS as well as another option?

hi guys,just wondered if anyone could help with an NVDA question.what setting do I need to turn on to get audio confirmation after I use ctrl c on a file?for example when using jaws after pressing ctrl c on a file it says file copied to paste board.  so I no I have hit the correct command.I am trying to wean myself off jaws for good but I need to sort out the little quirks I like in jaws.

I used to be really into MUDs in junior high and high school and reading discussions on them always makes me hugely nostalgic, but I just find them too time consuming to get into today. Reading up on dozens of pages of lore and memorizing skill and race mechanics before even starting, or having to sink in hours and hours to stay competitive with other players is just too much of a hurdle for me now, but I'm sure there must be more straightforward ones out there that are a little easier to jump into by now.      What's a good, simple MUD client without all the bells and whistles these days? I used to use FireClient iirc but it wasn't perfect and I'm not even sure it exists anymore. Though a game world encouraging exploration and quests or puzzle solving has always appealed to me more than constant PVP and PVE (probably why I became an instant fan of parser IF once I discovered it) and I'm not even sure where to start searching f
 or that in a MUD.

by the time you get the pack installed, the game will be gone, lol, its already dying a slow, drawn out, agonizing death, and has like hardly any players on, ever. Meh, find something else to play, lol.The hardest part about that stage is getting the rope, you do have to grind a bit to get your defense up so they don't obliterate you on two hits, because I certainly couldn't jump that one at the end very consistently. Once you have the rope, its cake to deal with them from that point on.

This is a neat little community you guys have got.
