This version problebly has some bugs in it still, but it is now possible to play a duel with most monsters. I have not tested all spell cards, trap cards, or effect monster cards, but I know it is possible to summon a monster, and sacrofice 1 or monsters to summon higher level monsters. I forgot to include a readme file, so the following are the keys you will need to play the game.While on the field:use the up and down arrow keys to move between your monsters, your spells and traps, your graveyard, your apponent's graveyard, your apponent's spells and traps, and your apponent's monsters.Use the left and right arrow keys to moove through your and your apponent's monsters, and spells or traps. This is also subpost to work in the graveyards, but I haven't gotten it working yet.press a on any of your monsters, or any of your apponent's face monsters to hear their attack power.press d in the same way to hear their defence power.press n to hear a cards name if it is yours, or is face up.press l on a monster when it is yours, or is face up to hear its level.Press x on any of your cards, or any face up card to hear its description.press t on any of your monsters to prepare it for sacrofice.press space to switch a monster from attack to defence mode, or from defence to attack mode. Also use this to activate a face down spell or trap card.press enter to activate a monsters special ability. They are very much still around, alive, and working, don't doubt them, please. If they dropped off the face of the map, that's one thing, but they are still posting fairly regularly, and good things don't happen overnight. Their are other audio games that are taking just as long to hit the market right now, so they're not the only ones, just keep checking social media and be a tiny bit patient. I did try liber office, but the spellcheck and other options in writer just weren't up to what I needed. Nvda seems to work fine with outlook too, or at least it does on my lady's machine, though since I've never liked outlook I can't confirm that myself, and I've never really seen need to install the other bits of office, but certainly with the latest version of word and Nvda I've had no complaints. There is the game heethcoat, an audio adventure like an interactive drama about a haunted asylum which is still around I believe, though if your looking for haunted house games, as I said gamebooks are probably your best bet as there have been a fair few, indeed one recent Cog one just now. Re: Does Anyone Have A Solution to this Problem If I'm not mistaken, System Restore is disabled by default in Windows 10. You'll have to manually create a restore point. I have no idea why Microsoft decided to do this. Under Control Panel\System, go to the System Protection tab and enable System Restore. This isn't going to help you now, but it's good to know. Also be aware that system restore uses some disk space to create restore points. I personally don't mind having it off as I don't tend to brick or seriously damage Windows and I'd rather have the extra space. I have install media that I can always use to reinstall Windows.Try checking for and applying all updates in Windows Update. I wasn't aware that CCleaner could damage the system. I am not sure exactly of the make of the machine in the hotel, I thought it was a k cup one and it did coffee and hot chocolate, though I admit being on my honeymoon I had other things on my mind at the time .While those machines are probably less common over here, the one rather dire thing we do have is instant coffee, the kind that you just put a spoon full of granuels in boiling water and stir. There are a couple of instants that I have found vaguely palatable, in particular a German brand called Percol which I drink at my parents' since they don't usually have the proper stuff, but a lot of people drink very generic brands that are pretty dreadful, heck my mum will only drink Ness Cafe which is so sweet it barely tastes of coffee at al. As for me, another order came from Witards on Thursday, so as well as some strawberry tea for my lady and some of their wonderful coco, I have some old brown Java. this is a little stronger, but very aromatic and lovely in the mornings, indeed as I'm having a mildly bad night and it's three in the morning I might be making myself some in a couple of hours . Still while I do confess that financially it's a pain in the arse getting a new phone right now, it is still something I need to do, not the least because my IPhone game playing has been rather curtailed recently and there are many games that need adding to the db, word war, blackbox, the blindfold games, the rest of the 3 minute interactive gamebooks etc.We had an extremely nice weekend being as on Friday we went to an early fireworks display with my parents which was fun. It's a little early for fireworks, but hay, and we get more next week. it does seem a little odd celebrating a failed terrorist plot in which most conspirators got off scot free accept for the poor patsy who literally had to light the fuse who ended up being burned alive and then vilified for his trouble. On the other hand if he'd succeeded there would probably be no united kingdom and we ight even be at war with Scotland and hay I probably wouldn't have been born given I've got Scottish grandparents and great grandparents on both sides . Not a lot else to report unfortunately, though I'm still continuing with my huge doctor who fest, catching up with jago and Lightfoot. This is actually a really fun series and quite appropriate for this time of year given it always has ghostly or horror elements and is set in the 1890's. It's odd, I hadn't actually seen the Doctor who classic story, The talons of Weng chyang which featured Jago and Lightfoot before I ran across them in the big finish collection, but I did really appreciate seeing them again. Hay there is something for the odd couple of a quiet Victorian pathologist and a overblown and verbose theatrical impresario running around investigating mysterious goings on which occasionally run into bits of Doctor who lore as well as Victoriana. The last story indeed had a meeting with Bran Stoker and origins of the Dracula legend that he based the book on . Mrs. Dark and I have also started reading Bruce Cameran's A dog's journey. We enjoyed the first book, even if it was a trifle overblown in places because Cameran does get dogs rather right, it's going to be interesting to see where the second one goes, it'll be some light relief after some of the fairly grim stuff we've done together recently. Re: How do you make your coffee? There are other brands of coffee machine that do the same thing, and Nespresso is by far the best one. Nespresso pods are different from k-cups in that they use actual beans... but the machine works on the same principle. Best coffee next to an actual maker or espresso machine. I've had both their regular coffee and espresso... and they can't be beat if you're wanting a pod machine, which I admit is quicker and more convenient than the french press and beans method I use now. But a good burr grinder and beans have definitely made an impact the last three days. hahaha. It creates a restore point once a week unless you do something like install a piece of software, then it creates a restore point related to that event. For instance I have six restore points for this month, two related to the uninstall of jaws 18 and install of jaws 2018, one for a TTS voice I installed, and three automatic points. I'd say on the whole it works pretty good and I would never dream of disabling it. As long as you remember to disable antivirus prior to running the restore, it usually works fine. Ambient air temperature affects the bed's internal air pressure, so I periodically check and adjust as necessary.Envision AI was able to recognize a hand holding a piece of technology, but it thought my bed's remote was a cell phone, and could not read the number on it's display. But then neither could seeing AI.I ended up using Be My Eyes to get the job done. I wouldn't even have Office, if it wasn't for Microsoft's Home Use program that was available through my last employer. Through it I was able to get Office 2010 Professional for all of $10. Without that, I'd have gone with Open Office, or some other alternative if that wasn't accessible. Truth is, all I need or want is a Good basic word processor and a good basic spreadsheet. I don't need all the other stuff that comes with Office, so Word and Excel are the only things I install. NVAccess during last years worked mostly on Office support, and it's PowerPoint support in my opinion is even better than JFW's support. If NVDA is little more sluggish with Office, it doesn't mean that Office isn't supported. It is just a bug that needs to be reported to NVAccess's issue tracker on github. I even won't remember the days when I was using JAWS 13 with Office 2007. It was so bad experience, especially with Microsoft Access. The problem was that JAWS didn't work well with croatian version of Office. It didn't wanna read header and footer fields properly, it didn't wanna read combo boxes in MS Access, so what are we talking about. And the same problem occured even later with JAWS 15 and Office 2010. So if something is paid doesn't mean that is better, it's far from that. And yeah, I'm using NVDA at work. Yes, at work! And I'm glad that I do, especially because JAWS is incompatible with Android Studio that I'm using at work every day. Seriously though, the price of the program, and worse, upgrading it, is the biggest flaw of JAWS. VFO needs to seriously look at the fact that there are suitable alternatives out there at the moment and charge much less for a home user.I haven't used JAWS primarily for over 8 years, but I as it is the leading Windows screen reader, I keep up with its development from time to time. Lately, there has been a lag behind the pack where new features and support for UIA and Mozilla are concerned.NVDA's Office support is a work in progress. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook support are not where JAWS is at the moment, but it's getting there, considering how fragmented the community is and the fact that it is a free product in a commercial space. There are the action games such as the gate and swamp as mentioned, also zompocalypse (a damb shame that the somethinelse games' aren't working since all of there's would've been perfect), though I believe that some of the other audio adventures such as blindside might still qualify (I do recall hearing of one about a haunted house but it doesn't have a db page yet). then there is slender lost vision which was intended as horror, and of course good old shades of doom with many mutated nasties.In terms of other things though, remember there is a lot by way of audio adventures and indeed textual adventures such as gamebooks. In the first category is of course descent into madness, chillingham and a couple of others I've run across, while the second category includes many of the Cog and Hg titles from zombie exodus to the shadow horror, not to mention the most recent release. There are also horror gamebooks over on the fighting fantasy project, indeed hellfire I'd regard as one of the single nastiest things I've ever read, and while we're talking gamebooks, don't forget dead man walking over on chooseyourstory. Lastly, of course there is a lot by way of browser games and muds and such, although I confess that most browser games which attempt vampires etc tend to devolve into stat management and one click pvp, though puppet nightmares is worth a look for it's awesomely disturbing story about evil dolls. That is what occurs to me at the second but there is probably a lot more kicking around, though interestingly enough nothing accept the Cog choice of the vampire games really vampire related that isn't just pure stat management which probably says something about vampires . Not like the old Roxio Go Back that Symantech bough and then buried. No other software or hardware company does that, even in the assistive technology space.If I had just recently gone blind, and needed to choose a screen reader, and knew what I know now, I'd start off with NVDA and probably never look at JAWS.But things didn't go that way, I learned JAWS first, and have been very happy with it, so I make sure that my SMAs don't lapse so that JAWS only costs me $5 per month to keep up to date. At the hotel in the states where my lady and I stayed for our honeymoon there was one of those automatic machines which I believe was a k cup make, though I'm afraid I wasn't a fan, the coffee was wy too weak for my taste and not having any choice was a trifle irritating.while I think you could probably get something like those refill machines over here, they really haven't caught on, mostly I suspect because people here prefer the electric kettle and all have different preferences, especially when drinking tea. Re: Jaws2018 is out and possible upcoming firefox problem with jaws As many people said in the NVDA vs jaws argumemt we had on here a while back, jaws is really only that price because of all the working and schooling features it has behind the scenes like scripting and office support for all of the microsoft office like powerpoint, exel,, word, outlook and the others. Its designed to be used in an office or classroom where as NVDA wasn't. And at the end of the day jaws is a product, there gonna sell their product. Why do so many blind people think they need everything for free because were blind? Not all the blind community is like this, but a lot of people think that for what ever reason. Not trying to start a flame war by saying this, but seriously, if your in that mind set, get out of it. Most products like jaws, canes, braille displays/note takers cost money, because, their products being developed, and to make more of them or improve the existing versions of these the developers of said products need money to expand their options and improve their products. They also need to live, and if developing jaws or braille displays is all they do, they gotta make a living some how right? I do think that jaws is a little expensive though, not saying its not. There also aren't that many blind people around though so that's gotta be partially why jaws costs what it does.
