Hi.That game brings me so many amazing memories. I have played almost all versions of the game. I remember the user guide tells about some bonus levels which has never been developed. In the very first alpha version, there were even lots of sounds in the game which were never used.It wouldn't surprise me if there are some secrets in the game which has never been discovered.

I have no idea as to the answer to your first question, however my  thoughts to your second are that it is not yet implemented for debug mode to alter the party accordingly. However, I haveo ne solution for you, which is put an item in the inventory which instantly kills the party member, and then have that removed on release.

Here is some easy steps to play your mobile games on your tv without having to mirror/airplay your device. The great thing about this is that you don't have to worry about a incoming call stopping your gameplay.You will need the following items. fire tv device, android mobile device or a fire tablet with the play store install. On your android/fire tablet go to the play store and download the app call apps2fire.On your fire tv device go to device options. On the fire stick and fire box it is under my fire tv.Go to developer options. Turn on debugging. Now in the apps2fire app pick your game and select the game you want to install to your tv. Once the game is install on your tv go to where your apps are install on your tv.You will find the games in your apps folder. You can use the remote to play the game. Will say that there might be certain games that might not run.The reason behind this is because they need to log into your google account. However the ones that don't need this should work find.I have tested this on both random adventure roguelike games. They work great.

Thank you. I have a second set of questions.One: Why is it that by transitions, there are two random tiles that change back to the main terrain? For example in my main city, the travelpoint to the cave is on the far east of a dirt road, but two of the squares nearest to it randomly change back to stone that were formerly dirt?Two: How do you change walls of a building? Do you have to go and manually set them tile by tile with the wall collision creator?Three: I'm trying to test out one particular character in debug mode, and set my party to one at start, with the warrior class selected. Why, then, does it put all four party members into the battle?Thanks much.

May have to give this one a try. I've been working on a fantasy novel for the past six or seven years and I thought it might be cool to convert it to an RPG. This might be a good way to do that, particularly once the full version comes out. The main character would start out on Earth and at some point in the plot be transported to another world where the majority of his quest would take place. Hopefully vehicles and things could be added, since a lot of RPG's tend to give the player access to ships and things.

A couple of them increase PED and traffic densities far beyond normal limits, others change the types of peds and vehicles that spawn, their behavior, vehicle handling and AI. Pritty much. Either it is; in the rules; or, its not. If its not... Don't make up rules just because. On another note, last I checked, that folder did have some cracked content or keygens etc, to crack tts stuff. It was a Minority of stuff, most of what its in the folder is abandoned synths / old synths which are no longer supported, however it did have some keygens to crack say, one I can remember off the top of my head, I don't remember the exact name of the voices, I just remember vw cate, among a couple others, it did have a keygen for those. I say did because I deleated said folder a long time ago, so this might be inaccurate. That folder is mainly composed of old / abandoned voices though, mainly. I believe ivonna was in that folder too but could be wrong. So it is partially cracked content, yes. Not all of it however. Just my two cents. I do, however, find it funny how people who are the first to scream and point the fingers at, cloners, suddenly shift there toan and... I want x or y. I'm not passing judgment, but i'm the type of person who really; really; hates double-standards. I'm not gunna lie, I was at a time like before like this, however I'm trying to change and shift away from this type of behavior.

The Mafiauniverse website features games very often, I already applied for 3 of them this month.However, the website itself is currently not exactly screen reader friendly, it has literarily dozens of options, info, so walls of text I must navigate through till I reach the actual forum I am in, which is quite inconvenient especially while I am playing a game in it.Luckily, the staff is very helpful and understanding, they are helping, assisting me to make the website more accessible to me and screen reader users, especially while playing the games themselves.So they are maximally cooperative when it comes to make the games they run more accessible for us.They already made some changes, modifications, added some settings for us to use their site, especially their forums easier and faster with screen reader, and they keep asking for more feedbacks, issue reports, suggestions, ideas from me for solutions atm, so there is a good chance I can play Mafia-type games there without more significant problems, issues in the future.I myself am not that experienced in technical matters and feedback, so it would probably help if someone more experienced, more competent would also sign up, join the mafiauniverse website, and provide the staff with more accurate, more professsional feedback, along with more efficient solution suggestions.

i agree. in the rules, it says nothing that you can't put them in pm's or forum e-mails or send a pm asking for an e-mail to share them. It specifically says that links that are not there's, they can't tell us if we can and cannot use them, or if they are or are not safe, including keys for bt sync folders. It says we cannot post them on the forum by putting a link or key of cracked software on a topic, and saying screw the rules, sense that would be breaking them. They can't read pm's unless they are forwarded, and even then they can't stop you from using those links, and they can't tell if it was a forged pm or not. This, is why i feel that the forum is going a bit more south then usual. They are trying to say that rules  that aren't stated are rules and should be followed, when as i just said, in the rules section they don't exist.

I have a friend who use to have an app called dragon to have incoming text messages speak aloud so they did not have to manually check when a new message had been received. However, they got a new phone and the app does not seem to work or exist. Does anyone know of another app for this? The phone is an lg phone.

There is a very large difference between reverse engineering and doing what the OP is doing. The OP is only isolating particular strings and code from the program, not actually attempting to open-source it or retrieve its source code. Retrieving the source code is impossible anyway unless its written in something like Python, where source code is easily retrievable. But if its written in VB6, Java, etc., then getting the original source, or anything remotely close to it, is virtually impossible without many years of hard work. (As a side note, I disassembled SOD once and found out that it has a level editor accessible with ctrl+L. However, its locked and you still need a license, and then you need some way of entering that license. The key combination is in the GMA engine itself, not the game, but since SOD was made with the GMA engine, I got all that the engine had plus what SOD have. Again, I stress that that was not reverse engineering. I couldn't even run the games code if I reassembled it.)

For anyone interested, I have started to work on the challenges at Free Code Camp. I haven't gotten far, but I figure that if anyone is stuck or is confused as to how the solutions work could post on here and I or anyone else could try and assist with an explanation or clarification.Currently I worked through This one about 100 doors. Turns out that they wanted the actual index rather than the zero-based one I was returning. Great. For the reference, the text is below:There are 100 doors in a row that are all initially closed. You make 100 passes by the doors. The first time through, visit every door and 'toggle' the door (if the door is closed, open it; if it is open, close it). The second time, only visit every 2nd door (i.e., door #2, #4, #6, ...) and toggle it. The third time, visit every 3rd door (i.e., door #3, #6, #9, ...), etc., until you only visit the 100th door.I will update this with more challenge notifications as I work them out.

Free Code Camp.org Challenges

For anyone interested, I have started to work on the challenges at Free Code Camp. I haven't gotten far, but I figure that if anyone is stuck or is confused as to how the solutions work could post on here and I or anyone else could try and assist.Currently I worked through This one about 100 doors. Turns out that they wanted the actual index rather than the zero-based one I was returning. Great. For the reference, the text is below:There are 100 doors in a row that are all initially closed. You make 100 passes by the doors. The first time through, visit every door and 'toggle' the door (if the door is closed, open it; if it is open, close it). The second time, only visit every 2nd door (i.e., door #2, #4, #6, ...) and toggle it. The third time, visit every 3rd door (i.e., door #3, #6, #9, ...), etc., until you only visit the 100th door.I will update this with more challenge notifications as I work them out.

There is a very large difference between reverse engineering and doing what the OP is doing. The OP is only isolating particular strings and code from the program, not actually attempting to open-source it or retrieve its source code. Retrieving the source code is impossible anyway unless its written in something like Python, where source code is easily retrievable. But if its written in VB6, Java, etc., then getting the original source, or anything remotely close to it, is virtually impossible without many years of hard work.

I managed to set a sound for an obstacle, but got no real sound nor obstacle, just the screen reader telling the name of the chosen sound. Hay paul, I got the music thing sorted, just needed to add in the step where I tell Sable what map I'm going to.If I use the same map, everything works fine.I did however find a miner bug.When setting the starting map in project options directly after  creating your project, a bug occurs if you're in your starting map when you do this.I think the project options menu is trying to update to include the option to set a starting point, but it instead just creates an endlessly looping menu without said option.Once you back out of the project options and reenter it; or press home or end, everything works fine.One final question, within the battle sounds folder, their are files for victory music and victory.What is the difference?Also when the final build of Sable is released, options for defining battle music, battle transitions, victory songs and the like; and especially battle music volume, should be added.Good night! or morning! whenever this message finds you...

25 mbps is still quite a low speed for more than one person, and even for one person. 100 mbps or at least 50/75 should be the minimum speed.

Majno,What settings did you change when you set up the game? That doesn't look anything like the default setup, and in particular that population number is really weird.How long have you been playing this game? Your starting racial wealth should be scaled based on population, and you definitely don't begin in debt, so the only way you could be in debt is if you spent a large amount on something, or if your game settings were messed up somewhere.You also probably should change your decimal separator in WINdows, as currently you're using a period to separate thousands and a comma to separate decimals, which the game doesn't support. If you need help doing this I can walk you through the procedure.I'm very confused by your game display, though it suggests that you're just starting to go into debt. I suspect that the decimal issue is largely responsible for some of the problem, at least, it's definitely not helping things.I would also really like to know what happens when you start with a standard, default game and change nothing at all. Wealth is supposed to not really be a thing you worry about unless you build a lot of ships or other construction. In fact, it's very possible to stay with positive growth most of the time.So any info you could give on this would help me figure out what's going on here.You might want to restart with a fresh database when you can change your decimal separator, just in case that's been corrupted somehow.

@Pates wouldn't the enemy groups work for that? Because you can randomise them and associate them with something like water. I saw it in the user guide anyway.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I was also wondering if it's possible for my character to gradually heal their hp after a battle, or when they wear an item which grants them more hp. Currently my character ends up stuck at 15/85 unless I create something like a healing potion.

Apparently, the old alt + f4 keystroke had the unfortunate side effect of checking all open tabs for jerk-like language. This new updated hotkey should fix that issue. It's not just "You're attacked". Think of real life. You're attacked by 4 beetles means you share space with them all, being blocked by them, faced by them...etc. It's like that too in Clok. It wouldn't help with anything if you're poked at by 27 scavengers at once no matter how good of a fighter you are. Artus can solo probably like 10 of them before collapsing due to too much energy drain. It's at least 2 per round for avoiding for him. Imagine 27 times 2...yar, you get the idea.

I mean, considering how defense rolls work, if you ahve multiple people pounding away at you, you may want to run. Defense rolls get worse the more people are trying to hit you, and the end result is a fatal beating if you're not a heavy armor user. Even then, those characters too would want to flee from a situation like that due to the energy drain of being hit all the time and how tiring trying to take out multiple mobs would be.

Lovecraft was absolutely a crazy racist. But I tend to try and take stories as stories. Indeed, one of the things I disagree with The Lovecraft Reread about is their interpretation of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", or rather, the interpretation in the comments, some of which seems to see it as a story that's just propaganda saying "don't get together with people of other races". But it's really about these fish people who live under the sea and predate humanity and who are more advanced than us, think of possibly malevolent advanced aliens but like, right here. They want human sacrifices, and they want to interbreed with humans to make more of their own kind.I won't ruin the end but let's just say that narrative gets ambivalent. Anyway, sure you could read it as straightforward anti-miscegenation propaganda if you want. But I don't see why the author's personal views should dominate the in-universe story, so to speak. Also, there are a lot of classic authors who turn out, on inspection, to be pretty racist, IIRC Dickens was fairly anti-Semitic, among other things.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_in … es_DickensThat's not to knock Dickens, or excuse Lovecraft. Rather, what I'm saying is that I'm perfectly willing to read stories as stories, rather than dragging in outside stuff. If a character or story is racist, I take that as the character or story being racist. That having been said, I'm not slamming people for not being into problematic authors, though I will say one virtue of Lovecraft is that unlike some other racist authors, Ayn Rand for example, he's not trying to tell us how to think or live.But especially personally, yeah, he was terrifyingly racist. The cool thing is, I don't see a lot of people who are into him trying to cover it up. Indeed, there's an introductory essay in the first collection of his I ever read, "Dagon and Other Macabre Tales", where a passage from a letter of his about people in NYC is compared with a passage in his story "The Lurking Fear", the passage from the NYC letter being horribly racist and the passage from "The Lurking Fear" being more about, well something else because again I'm not trying to spoil stuff, though TLF isn't one of his greatest stories, by any means.The thing people forget though, and I think this speaks to Dark's point, is that the early twentieth century was just pretty weird, all round. For example, many people don't know this, but Hitler praised Henry Ford in Mein Kampf as being a huge source of his ideas about race. Eugenics was pretty huge and pretty well-regarded by a chunk of the scientific community. Again, this is not to excuse Lovecraft, so far as I know he was an uber-racist, even for his times.But still, there was just so so much of that kind of thing around back then. Check out some minstrel recordings on old cylinder records some time, if you feel like some disturbing examples, or the category called, and I'm sorry in advance but that's what they're called, "coon songs". They were hugely popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s, they couldn't publish enough of them, and even some famous composers like Irving Berlin wrote some. I got morbidly fascinated by it all when I found out they exist as actual recordings, because you hear so much about minstrel shows and all, but we have no real idea of what they're like. The recordings, though made when they were seriously declining, give us a tangible glimpse of history we usually only read about.http://cylinders.library.ucsb.edu/I warn you, if you search for either category, you will hear the n-word more times in one song than you've probably heard it in your entire life. I exhagerate for effect, of course, but not necessarily by much. The sad thing is, some of them are pretty catchy, as songs go naturally, not in terms of their lyrical content.

Okay, I'm bringing this topic back from the grave because Mrs. Dark and I have just finished another Stephen King novel, this time Bag of bones. I'll be putting together a more formal review in a bit, but I thought I'd throw some thoughts down here and see what everyone else thinks as well, oh and of course spoilers ahoy!It's actually odd rereading Bag of bones now, since this is a case where my life experience has vastly changed my view on many things in the book. When I first read it I was nineteen and had no idea what being married was like, now almost nineteen years later, I reread it with my wife, and thus my hole take on Mike's grief about Jo's death is utterly different. I particularly liked how much you got to know Jo even before the ghosts turned up. That being said, I didn't find mike quite as easy company. maybe it was him describing himself as "moderately successful", and complaining because he only has two houses and a few million dollars, and is winjing about only being at position fifteen on the best seller list, but honestly, at the beginning of the book, and even later when he was commenting snearingly about Matty shopping at K mart, he actually come across as snobbish and less than pleasant some of the time. I also will freely admit, this was the Stephen King book that reminded me just why people say King's books are too long, since nearly the first third, up until he actually moves back to the Haunted house Sarah Laughs, was very long winded setup, and whilst necessary for character and situation building (as well as a brief appearance from Ralf Roberts from Insomnia), at the same time things were dragging a fair bit, since wierd dreams and loneliness can only take a narrative so far. All of this changed once Mike moved back to Sarah Laughs, and both the supernatural manifestations and character interest went into overdrive. I will say, Kyra, the little three year old girl was scating the point of being a bit too overly cute and idealised on occasion, though at least King Avoided the trap writers like Koontz fall into with child characters, and had either the rest of the cast, or even the narrator tell us how lovely they were. The way King Handled Mike's feeling for a much younger woman and the desire to help leading to friendship leading to romance was genuinely rather sweet, albeit some of his descriptions of Matty did get a bit overly praiseworthy. One aspect I did feel a bit odd about, was the way that Mike continually referdd either in his ghost induced sexual dreams, or in narration to the phrase "do what you want", a phrase he'd picked up from a feminist essay claiming that was what all men wanted in sex. Whether Mike's attributing this phrase to himself, and describing "love for men as one part lust one part astonishment", was a genuine idea, a symptom of Mike's believed self disgust being an older man looking at a younger woman, or the psychic influence of Sarah I'm not sure. Speaking of psychic influence though, these are probaly some of the best written ghosts I've seen, I particularly love the combination of unconscious impulses, rituals and psychic manifestations, and how this all ties in to the community, conspiracy and some genuinely skin crawling child murder. Indeed, the way the conspiracy and psychic influence was unearthed was something I particularly liked, since what happened to Sarah Tidwell and her son was truly, and unbelievably horrific, indeed some of the nastiest stuff King has ever written, and yet at the same time we see what she's been doing in revenge, how many people she's influenced to kill their own children. it's a wonderfully tangled, horribly uggly situation where two wrongs, and pretty extreme and nasty wrongs at that, dont' make a right, for all that Sarah's rage is both understandable, even if it has transformed her into something quite wrong.The other side of the coin, I actually thought the romance with matty and the battle over Kyra's custody worked,  well, particularly how down right nasty a villain max Devor was, and how this tied into the small town consciousness. Again, that sort of small town, everyone knows everyone else, and one person can be ostracised when they're disapproved of seems a bit odd to me, but then again, I grew up in a city, and whilst I now am living in a small town, I don't really know anyone here to be ostracised from anyway .Matty's death is shocking, yet at the same time, made perfect sense, since had she survived, things would have been a bit too pat. The only thing I didn't care for in the ending, was the implication that perhaps Jo's spirit was stuck in Sarah Laughs, unless she was waiting until Mike was okay and had full custody of Kyra, and the last rant about writing and why Mike stopped. There were several times when Mike felt a little too close to King himself, and in this winj about killing off characters making an author a nasty person, he felt very much like King, who

Hi. I just downloaded Sable this morning and I love it so far. The only thing I'm confused about is the brush size. I was reading the documentation about it but it still doesn't really make sense to me, I kind of thought that it meant if you drew one tile to the right for example, it would also draw on the tiles above and below it. But when I was trying it and I looked at what I had drawn, it looked like a lot more tiles. Not sure if that made sense. Also if you accidentally put terrain on too many tiles, is there a way to delete it?

What personally interests me in Lovecraft is indeed that sort of reality bending horror which verges on fantasy, or at least seeing the world in another twisted light. Gayman is one of my personal favourite authors, and I've always liked when writers like Stephen King go into that aspects of things, indeed that was one thing I really liked in Shelly Jackson's Haunting of Hill house, since yee gods the descriptions got nasty.Elizabeth Bear is an author I've heard of, my lady has read several of hers, though I've yet to try her stuff myself.As to racism, sexism etc, the longer ago something is published, the more likely I am to give it a pass on such issues if the over all story and writing is good enough, including not blatantly giving  proper gander or  authorial preaching to the reader.

If you're talking about the part ware you have to defend Paid My Dues, just use Tripple Slash on the Robot. That should take it out. I thought I didn't give the robots any Powerbombs. Also, they only do 50 damage. If they're doing 245 damage, that's the wrong type of bomb and I'll soon be uploading a patch for 1.0 that fixes some small buggs and balances the difficulty.

Hi everyone,Sorry for the late replies,  with  this being day one of the public release, I think its fair to say its been a bit of a hectic day for me. I’ll try and answer the questions which have come in, since there’s a lot, I’ll try to keep my answers  as short  as possible (which for anyone  who’s been following the ‘creating a code free RPG using Sable’ topic on the forum over the past year, will know I’m not good at short answers hahaha). Right, on to question answering:-@pates, thanks for all the suggestions, at the moment the focus on the alpha build is around identifying bugs/issues and ensuring all of Sables functionality is all working correctly, rather than looking for tons of new features. , obviously though if anyone has good ideas we will listen to them, but can’t promise what will make it into Sable.@ Jack, thanks for the continued support and comments. As for your screen reader bug, I’ve had a couple of people mention this, screen reader support is still a experimental at this stage, so it’s something I need to look into , so I can work out what’s causing the problem and maybe look at adjusting my calibration functions. Thanks for the spot, its added to my list. Also saw your second post about this too, so thanks for that extra feedback. BGT does have some issues with Sappie speech lag, I’ve actually got an idea to fix that. If you use input boxes in sable, these are something I coded in myself, that’s why the input window is built into sable, rather than using the standard windows GUI input boxes which have their own external window. In hear I got round the Sappie speech lag issue, so I’m at some point going to try implementing that into the rest of my code to speed up speech responsiveness, although until I try it, I can’t promise anything there, but I’m hopeful since I got it working so well in my input boxes@ three blindnoises, sorry for the delay in answering your questions: with ambience, although when first setting a building or map pressing escape will set no ambience/music. Once in the actual map not selecting anything  leaves it as what it currently is. You could definitely add just a blank sound file in there for a fix for now. Maybe  for full release an option for no sound or something at the bottom of the options? What are your thoughts on that? Also saw your second question about doors to buildings, but saw someone beat me to the answer with deactivating walls. Just seen your third question, good suggestion about changing map names, that could come in handy. Ok, now seen your forth question, you’ve been busy hahaha. @Lirin, Not true. All of those are accessible enough. How did you come to that conclusion?That being said, I can't find the buttons anywhere. It's worked this morning and with earlier versions, so it's like the game isn't displaying at all.

Hello!1: Camlorn is correct, these are patches that have to be added (manually) into the server, and then you'll need to recompile to receive the available functionality.2: I do not recommend using GammaMOO, as it's old, unsupported, and gross to work with. I would recommend that you check out ToastStunt (https://github.com/lisdude/toaststunt), as it's really the only maintained MOO server publicly available.P.S.: If you're looking for a MOOCore that takes full advantage of ToastStunt's abilities and is still actively being updated, you may wish to consider checking out ToastCore (https://github.com/lisdude/toastcore).

helo 91i'm not a dev, but as far as i experemented with the engine, aside from the day and ight cycle stuff, you can do all of your ideas with the curront version of enginejust create an other map and replace the game world with that

I've been listening to the YouTube videos today, and am in the process of downloading the Alpha now.  I have a couple of questions about whether a couple of things will be possible in the alpha or full game.  If I wanted to create a very large indoor environment, like the first area of the game would take place in a kingdom's castle and castle grounds, would it be better to create large buildings in an area, or just large indoor areas with stone walls?  The way I'm understanding things as of now, is that adding buildings only add square or rectangular locations.  Can the interiors of buildings be customized, so I could let's say, create an Inn and have an open common area with the inkeeper, but have a hallway and X number of individual rooms up and downstairs?  My other question is more for the full game.  Is it possible to have an event trigger that would take effect after a key point in a game's story that would effect the entire world from that point on?  For instance, early in my created game, I had general enemies like bandits, wolves, bears, etc.  Then something happens that curses the land.  In addition to, or in place of these original enemies, can the world reflect this, and now I'm fighting more powerful cursed versions of these enemies?  This could apply to the entire world, or specific user definable regions.  I hope that made sense.  I've actually just started trying to come up with a story, so that when the full game does release, I have the stories for the main and side quests, locations, characters, enemies, etc., and can start building the game.  I'm just not sure if a few of my ideas will work within the engine.  On a similar note, will there be a day night cycle, where different enemies can come out or change their stats based on time of day?  I'm thinking of my cursed example above, where fighting at night becomes more dangerous.  Thanks, and I'm really looking forward to trying the alpha.
