Twitter changed it's API recently and as a result, TWCMD no longer works with twitter itself. You can't get it to authorize anymore, and the way it's all put together, it's extremely outdated on how direct messages and other twitter features work.Your best bet is to switch to something like python nd use twython to rewrite something similar

I would agree with the idea of well just stop using BGT, but there are some massive audio games like STW for example, that probably will never be rewritten in BGT because the dev doesn't want to rewrite everything they rewrote in 5 years.I don't think that open sourcing BGT would do a disservice to the community, if anyone wants to update it with https support, or other functions they can providing that you make it clear on paper that this is not something you recommend someone learn off.It is up to you, the author of BGT to make this decision, but I'm just trying to look at it from other's point of view when it comes to why switching may not be as simple as picking up a python, CPP, or pb book and rewriting their games.

I guess the other solution you could find to this is save your registration info either in the registry or in a different file from the game, and lock that registration save file down to the computer ID. I see no problem to this, because now you can share the game's progress with your friends without sharing the activation state or other important information about you.

How is it unsecure. You're just saving information in the registry like any other program does. If you want to secure information such as registration info, secure it server-side and make sure that validity is checked when a computer registers a new game. Also, pl,ease please please! Make sure that your save files are bind to a computer ID I can't stress this enough. If you want everyone and their mother, grandmother, cousin, distant cousin and girlfriend and girlfriend's best friend's brother's girlfriend's dad's uncle getting a copy, make sure the computer ID matches the one in the save file.

There is a wrapper but you might as well forget about the wrapper and write your own as I don't see anyone giving that wrapper out anytime soon. You should either make your own, or use python's wrapper around libaudioverse.

Honestly its just a complete pile of trash. Camlern audio is so buggy and will just constantly crash on your computer all the time. I would recommend you switch to Libaudioverse, fmod, or switch to python and use openal.

I really don't like when people just tell others with out any request what soever, to switch to a different programming language. We get it guys. BGT is discontinued and will never receive an update. But are we gonna just start pushing people away with 'oh just use Python' and not provide any resources to get started? If we're gonna start promoting the use of Python as heavily as some people do, start writing  up a topic with a list of resources for Python or whatever programming language you're into. I will say it... ready? This will come off as being dickish or whatever but here's the thing. A lot of people who sit on the forum's high horse and shove Python down someone's throat aren't even programmers themselves. Just because you wroteprint('hello world')does not make you a top of the line dev and should just go off and promote the use of Python, PHP, CPP, Swift or fucking hell, Brainfuck. Enough ranting. At OP, if I had the installer I would give it to you, but I deleted it I guess. Searching both my computers turns up nothing. Sorry.

I usually just find a sniffing application(Not providing any examples) but I just scan for the UDP port and usually its pretty clear when you find it, but yeah its fiarly simple to find the port. If they encrypt there packets you need to find some way to get the key like debugging the exe.
